Daniel

7

1In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed: then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.
1 Babila bonkoono Belsazzar zamana jiiri sintina ra, Daniyel na hindiri nda bangandiyaŋ te, nga boŋo ra wane, kaŋ a go nga dima boŋ ga kani. Saaya din a na hindiro hantum, a n'a misey mo ci.
2Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea.
2 Daniyel salaŋ ka ne: «Ay cin bangando ra, ay go ga di, kala beene haw taaci naan ka tun teeku beero boŋ.
3Four great animals came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
3 Ganji ham bambata taaci mo tun ka fun teeko ra da himandi waani-waani yaŋ.
4The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I saw until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand on two feet as a man; and a man’s heart was given to it.
4 Sintina ga hima muusu beeri, a gonda zeeban fata. Ay go ga guna kala i n'a fatey kosu, i n'a sambu ndunnya boŋ, i n'a kayandi ce hinka boŋ danga boro cine, i n'a no boro bine.
5Behold, another animal, a second, like a bear; and it was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth: and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh.
5 Ganji ham fa mo go, ihinkanta, a ga hima urs*, a kuray fa kaaru afa boŋ, caraw sari ize hinza go a meyo ra, a hinjey game ra. I ne a se: ‹Tun ka ham boobo ŋwa.›
6After this I saw, and behold, another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird; the animal had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
6 Woodin banda ay guna, kal afo mo go kaŋ ga hima mari, a banda boŋ mo gonda fata taaci, curo wane dumi. Ganji hamo din gonda boŋ taaci, i n'a no mayray mo.
7After this I saw in the night visions, and, behold, a fourth animal, awesome and powerful, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet: and it was diverse from all the animals that were before it; and it had ten horns.
7 Woodin banda cin bangando ra ay di ganji ham fo mo go, itaacanta. A ga humburandi, hinkoy no, gaabikooni mo no gumo. A gonda guuru-bi hinje bambata yaŋ. A ŋwa, a bagu-bagu, a na cindey taamu nda nga ce taamey. A waana mo ganji ham cindey kaŋ n'a jin yaŋ, a gonda hilli way mo.
8I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots: and behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.
8 Ay laakal d'a hilley, kala koyne hilli fo mo go, a tun i ra, ikayna no. A jine mo i na hilli hinza dagu hilli sintinayey din ra. A go no, hillo din ra moyaŋ go no kaŋ ga hima boro wane, da me mo koyne kaŋ ga hari beeri yaŋ ci.
9I saw until thrones were placed, and one who was ancient of days sat: his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, and its wheels burning fire.
9 Ay goono ga guna kal ay di, I na kargayaŋ sinji. Afo mo kaŋ ga ti Waato Zamaneykoy go ga goro. A bankaaray ga kwaaray law! sanda neezu* cine, A boŋ hamno mo ga kwaaray sanda feeji hamni cine. A karga danji beeleyaŋ no; A torkey mo danji kaŋ ga di no.
10A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
10 Gooru kaŋ ga hima danji mo bangay ka fun a jine. Zambarey mo go g'a saajaw. Zambar-zambarey mo go ga kay a jine. I na ciiti teeyaŋ do sinji, I na tirayaŋ mo fiti.
11I saw at that time because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke; I saw even until the animal was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire.
11 Ay goono ga guna kala hillo na boŋ sifayaŋ sanni bambatayaŋ ci. Ay soobay ga guna kal i na ganji hamo din wi, i n'a gaahamo halaci, i n'a daŋ danji ra zama a ma ton.
12As for the rest of the animals, their dominion was taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
12 Ganji ham cindey sanni mo binde, i n'i mayra ta i gaa, amma i n'i fundi jirbey kuukandi jirbiyaŋ da alwaati fo.
13I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
13 Cin bangayyaŋo ra ay di, a go, boro fo kaa, beene burey go a banda, a ga hima Boro Izo. A kaa mo hala Waato Zamaneykoyo do. I n'a maanandi a jine.
14There was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
14 I n'a no koytaray da darza da mayray, zama borey kulu da dumey kulu da deeney kulu ma may a se. A koytara ya duumikoy no, kaŋ si ban, a mayra mo si halaci.
15As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
15 Ay wo Daniyel, ay biya halaci ay gaahamo bindo ra, ay boŋo bangayyaŋ mo n'ay kankam.
16I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth concerning all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
16 Kal ay kaa boro fo jarga kaŋ goono ga kay noodin. Ay n'a hã woone yaŋ kulu cimo. A ci ay se, a n'ay bayrandi mo da hayey din feerijey.
17These great animals, which are four, are four kings, who shall arise out of the earth.
17 ‹Ganji ham beeri taaca din, bonkooni taaci no kaŋ yaŋ ga tun ndunnya ra.
18But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.
18 Amma Beeray-Beeri-Koyo hanantey ga mayra ta, i ga koytaray ŋwa hal abada, danga hal abada abadin nooya.›
19Then I desired to know the truth concerning the fourth animal, which was diverse from all of them, exceedingly terrible, whose teeth were of iron, and its nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet;
19 Noodin binde ay ceeci ay ma ganji ham taacanta din cimo bay, nga kaŋ ga waana ikulu, kaŋ ga humburandi gumo, kaŋ a hinjey guuru-bi wane no, a ce camsey guuru-say wane no, nga kaŋ ŋwa ka ban, a bagu-bagu, a na cindey taamu nda nga cey.
20and concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, and before which three fell, even that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke great things, whose look was more stout than its fellows.
20 Ay ceeci hilli waya din mo sanni kaŋ go a boŋo boŋ da hilli fa din mo kaŋ zay, kaŋ a jine mo hilli hinza fun ka kaŋ. Danga hillo din kaŋ gonda moy da me kaŋ ga ruubu bambata ci, nga kaŋ himayaŋo bisa nga himakasiney kulu wane wargayaŋ.
21I saw, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
21 Ay goono ga guna kala hillo din na wongu te da hanantey hal a hin ey.
22until the ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
22 Kala waato kaŋ nga din, Waato Zamaneykoyo kaa ka ciiti no Beeray-Beeri-Koyo hanantey kamba ra. Alwaato to mo kaŋ a hanantey ga mayra tubu ŋwa.
23Thus he said, The fourth animal shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be diverse from all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
23 Yaa no a ne: ‹Ganji ham taacanta ga ciya mayray taacanta ndunnya boŋ. A ga waana koytaray cindey. A ga ndunnya kulu ŋwa. A g'a taamu-taamu, a g'a bagu-bagu.
24As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall ten kings arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings.
24 Ngey, hilli waya din mo ga ti bonkooni way kaŋ ga tun mayra din ra. Afo mo ga tun i banda, nga mo ga goro waani da ijiney. A ga bonkooni hinza ŋwa.
25He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High; and he shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time.
25 A ga ruubu sanni te ka gaaba nda Beeray-Beeri-Koyo. A ga Beeray-Beeri-Koyo wane hanantey fargandi mo. A gonda anniya koyne nga ma zamaney da asariya barmay. Hanantey ga furo a kambe ra, hala alwaati fo, da alwaati hinka, da alwaati jare.
26But the judgment shall be set, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end.
26 Amma i g'a ciiti, i g'a mayra ta a gaa, i m'a halaci hala bananta.
27The kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole sky, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High: his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
27 Amma koytara nda mayra, da mayrayey kaŋ go beena cire beera, ikulu i g'i no Beeray-Beeri-Koyo hanantey jama se. A mayra mo mayray kaŋ ga duumi no, mayray kulu ga may a se, k'a gana.›
28Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts much troubled me, and my face was changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
28 Sanno bananta nooya. Ay mo, Daniyel, ay fonguyaŋey n'ay kankam gumo, ay moyduma hananyaŋ bare, amma ay na sanno gaay ay bina ra.»
