27

1Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, “Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.
1 Gaa no Musa nda Israyla arkusey na jama lordi ka ne: Lordey kulu kaŋ yaŋ ay n'araŋ lordi nd'a hunkuna, araŋ m'i haggoy.
2It shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Jordan to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, that you shall set yourself up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:
2 A ga ciya mo, hano kaŋ hane araŋ ga Urdun daŋandi ka furo laabo kaŋ Rabbi ni Irikoyo ga ni no din ra, kala ni ma tondi bambata yaŋ sinji k'i yonu nda karmaari.
3and you shall write on them all the words of this law, when you have passed over; that you may go in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
3 Ni ma asariya wo sanney kulu hantum i gaa mo, d'araŋ daŋandi ka furo. Yaadin gaa no i ga yadda ni ma furo laabo kaŋ Rabbi ni Irikoyo ga ni no din ra. Laabo din ga wa nda yu bambari, mate kaŋ Rabbi ni kaayey Irikoyo na alkawli sambu nd'a ni se.
4It shall be, when you have passed over the Jordan, that you shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in Mount Ebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster.
4 A ga ciya mo, d'araŋ na Urdun daŋandi, tondey din kaŋ ay n'araŋ lordi nd'a hunkuna, araŋ g'i sinji Ebal tondo boŋ, k'i tuusu nda karmaari.
5There you shall build an altar to Yahweh your God, an altar of stones: you shall lift up no iron on them.
5 Ni ma sargay feema cina noodin mo Rabbi ni Irikoyo se da tondiyaŋ. Guuru goy jinay kulu ma si lamba i gaa.
6You shall build the altar of Yahweh your God of uncut stones; and you shall offer burnt offerings thereon to Yahweh your God:
6 Ni ma feema cina Rabbi ni Irikoyo se da tondiyaŋ kaŋ i mana jabu. A boŋ no ni ga sargay kaŋ i ga ton salle Rabbi ni Irikoyo se.
7and you shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there; and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God.
7 Ni ma saabuyaŋ sargayyaŋ mo salle noodin, ka ŋwa noodin, ka farhã Rabbi ni Irikoyo jine.
8You shall write on the stones all the words of this law very plainly.”
8 Ni ma asariya wo sanney kulu hantum mo tondi beerey din gaa far-far.
9Moses and the priests the Levites spoke to all Israel, saying, “Keep silence, and listen, Israel: this day you have become the people of Yahweh your God.
9 Musa nda alfagey da Lawitey salaŋ Israyla kulu se ka ne: «Ya Israyla, wa dangay ka hanga jeeri! Hunkuna ni ciya Rabbi ni Irikoyo jama.
10You shall therefore obey the voice of Yahweh your God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command you this day.”
10 Woodin sabbay se no ni ga maa Rabbi ni Irikoyo sanno se, k'a lordey d'a hin sanney te, wo kaŋ yaŋ ay go ga ni lordi nd'a hunkuna.»
11Moses commanded the people the same day, saying,
11 Han din hane mo Musa na jama kaseeti ka ne:
12“These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have passed over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
12 D'araŋ na Urdun daŋandi, borey kaŋ yaŋ ga kay Gerizim tondo boŋ ka jama albarkandi neeya: Simeyon kunda, da Lawi, da Yahuda, da Isakar, da Yusufu, da Benyamin.
13These shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
13 Wo kaŋ yaŋ ga kay Ebal tondo boŋ mo laaliyaŋ se neeya: Ruben kunda, da Gad, da Aser, da Zabluna, da Dan, da Naftali.
14The Levites shall answer, and tell all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
14 Lawitey mo ga jinde sambu nda gaabi ka ne Israyla alborey kulu se:
15‘Cursed is the man who makes an engraved or molten image, an abomination to Yahweh, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ All the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen.’
15 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga tooru jabante wala soogante te, k'a kayandi tuguyaŋ ra, gonitaray goy no, fanta hari mo no Rabbi se.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
16‘Cursed is he who sets light by his father or his mother.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
16 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga nga baaba wala nga nya kaynandi.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
17‘Cursed is he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
17 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga nga gorokasin hirri seeda ganandi.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
18‘Cursed is he who makes the blind to wander out of the way.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
18 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga danaw darandi fonda gaa.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
19‘Cursed is he who the foreigner, fatherless, and widow of justice.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
19 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga ce-yaw, wala alatuumi, wala wayboro kaŋ kurnye bu ciiti siirandi.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
20‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s skirt.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
20 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga kani nda nga baaba wande, zama a na nga baabo haawi feeri.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
21‘Cursed is he who lies with any kind of animal.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
21 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga kani nda alman, dumi kulu kaŋ no.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
22‘Cursed is he who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
22 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga kani nda nga wayme, a baabo ize, wala a nyaŋo ize.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
23‘Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
23 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga kani nda nga anzuray wayboro.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
24‘Cursed is he who strikes his neighbor in secret.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
24 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga tugu ka nga gorokasin kar ka wi.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
25‘Cursed is he who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
25 «Laalante no boro kaŋ ga me-daabu ta zama i ma boro kaŋ sinda taali wi.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
26‘Cursed is he who doesn’t confirm the words of this law to do them.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’”
26 «Laalante no boro kulu kaŋ si asariya wo sanney tabbatandi k'i te mo.» Jama kulu ma tu ka ne: «Amin!»
