1Yahweh said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I may show these my signs in their midst,
1 Rabbi ne Musa se koyne: «Ma furo Firawna do, zama ay n'a bina d'a bannyey waney mo sandandi, zama ay m'ay alaama woone yaŋ cabe i game ra.
2and that you may tell in the hearing of your son, and of your son’s son, what things I have done to Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that you may know that I am Yahweh.”
2 Zama mo ni m'ay baaru ci ni ize nda ni izo izey hangey ra. Hariyaŋ kaŋ ay te Misira boŋ, da alaamey kaŋ yaŋ ay te ni do, zama mo araŋ ma woone bay: kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.»
3Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and said to him, “This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.
3 Musa nda Haruna binde furo Firawna do. I ne a se: «Yaa no Rabbi, Ibraniyancey Irikoyo ci: Waati fo no ni ga yadda ka ni boŋ kaynandi ay jine? M'ay borey taŋ zama i ma may ay se.
4Or else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your country,
4 Da ni wangu ka yadda k'ay borey taŋ mo, a go, suba ay ga kande dooyaŋ ni laabo ra.
5and they shall cover the surface of the earth, so that one won’t be able to see the earth. They shall eat the residue of that which has escaped, which remains to you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field.

6Your houses shall be filled, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; as neither your fathers nor your fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.’” He turned, and went out from Pharaoh.
6 Ni windo da ni bannyey windey da Misirancey windey kulu mo ga to da do, haŋ kaŋ ni baabey da ni kaayey mana di baa ce fo, za han kaŋ hane i goro ndunnya ra hala ka kaa sohõ.» Kala Musa bare ka fun Firawna do.
7Pharaoh’s servants said to him, “How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve Yahweh, their God. Don’t you yet know that Egypt is destroyed?”
8Moses and Aaron were brought again to Pharaoh, and he said to them, “Go, serve Yahweh your God; but who are those who will go?”
8 I ye ka kande Musa nda Haruna Firawna do. A ne i se mo: «Wa koy ka may Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo se. Amma may da may no ga koy?»
9Moses said, “We will go with our young and with our old; with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast to Yahweh.”
9 Musa ne: «Iri zankey da arkusey no ga koy. Iri ize alborey da wayborey d'iri kurey, haw da feeji, iri ga kond'ey, zama Rabbi se sududuyaŋ batu go iri boŋ.»
10He said to them, “Yahweh be with you if I will let you go with your little ones! See, evil is clearly before your faces.
10 Firawna ne a se: «Rabbi ma goro araŋ banda, amma mate no ay ga te k'araŋ d'araŋ zankey taŋ? Wa te laakal, zama laala no araŋ go ga miila.
11Not so! Go now you who are men, and serve Yahweh; for that is what you desire!” They were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.
11 Manti yaadin no bo! Araŋ wo, kaŋ yaŋ ga ti alborey, wa koy araŋ hinne ka may Rabbi se, zama wo kaŋ araŋ ga ba nooya.» I n'i gaaray ka kaa Firawna jine.
12Yahweh said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up on the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail has left.”
12 Rabbi ne Musa se koyne: «Ni kamba salle laabo boŋ zama do ma furo Misira laabo ra, i ma laabo kobto kulu ŋwa, danga haŋ kaŋ gariyo naŋ nooya.»
13Moses stretched out his rod over the land of Egypt, and Yahweh brought an east wind on the land all that day, and all the night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
13 Musa binde na nga goobo salle Misira laabo boŋ. Kala Rabbi kande wayna funay hawo laabo boŋ zaaro da cino din kulu. Saaya kaŋ mo bo, wayna funay hawo kande do.
14The locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the borders of Egypt. They were very grievous. Before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.
14 Dwa kaa ka zumbu Misira laabo kulu ra ka Misira laabo daabu hal a hirrey kulu me, i ga futu mo gumo. Za doŋ do mana bay ka te yaadin cine, i dumi si ye ka te mo koyne.
15For they covered the surface of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened, and they ate every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left. There remained nothing green, either tree or herb of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
15 Zama i na laabo kulu daabu, hala laabo kulu te kubay. I na laabo kobto kulu ŋwa, da tuuri-nyaŋey izey kaŋ yaŋ gariyo naŋ. Hay fo kulu mana cindi sanda kobto tayo, za tuuri-nyaŋey gaa kala a ma koy farey ra subu, Misira laabo kulu ra.

16 Saaya din Firawna na Musa nda Haruna ce da cahãyaŋ. A ne: «Ay na zunubi te Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo jine, d'araŋ jine mo.
17Now therefore please forgive my sin again, and pray to Yahweh your God, that he may also take away from me this death.”

21Yahweh said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.”
21 Rabbi ne Musa se koyne: «Ni kamba sambu beene zama kubay ma te Misira laabo kulu ra, kubay kaŋ boro ga hin ka ham.»
22Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.
22 Musa binde na nga kamba salle beene. Kubay te mo, ibi tik! Misira laabo kulu ra, kala jirbi hinza.
23They didn’t see one another, neither did anyone rise from his place for three days; but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

25 Musa ne: «Ni g'iri no mo haŋ kaŋ iri ga may d'a, da nooyaŋ hari tonyaŋ se iri kambe ra, zama iri ma sargay te Rabbi iri Irikoyo se.
26Our livestock also shall go with us. Not a hoof shall be left behind, for of it we must take to serve Yahweh our God; and we don’t know with what we must serve Yahweh, until we come there.”
26 Iri almaney mo ga koy iri banda. Baa ce camse fo, iri s'a naŋ banda, zama i ra no iri ga kaa ka may d'a Rabbi iri Irikoyo se. Iri si bay mo haŋ kaŋ no iri ga may d'a Rabbi se kala nd'iri to noodin jina.»

29Moses said, “You have spoken well. I will see your face again no more.”
29 Musa ne: «Ni sanno kaŋ ni ci ay se boori. Ay si ye ka ni moyduma guna koyne.»
