1Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, I have made you as God to Pharaoh; and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.
1 Rabbi ne Musa se: «Guna, ay na ni daŋ Irikoy fo Firawna se: ni nya izo Haruna mo ga ciya ni annabo*.
2You shall speak all that I command you; and Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.
2 Hay kulu kaŋ ay na ni lordi* nd'a, ni m'a ci. Ni nya izo Haruna mo ga salaŋ Firawna se ka ne a ma naŋ Israyla izey ma fun a laabo ra.
3I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
3 Ay mo, ay ga Firawna bina sandandi, ay ga naŋ ay alaamey d'ay dambara goyey ma baa Misira laabo ra.
4But Pharaoh will not listen to you, and I will lay my hand on Egypt, and bring out my armies, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
4 Amma Firawna si maa araŋ se bo. Ay g'ay kambe dake mo Misira boŋ, ay m'ay jama Israyla izey fattandi Misira laabo ra dubal-dubal, da ciiti beeri-beeri yaŋ.
5The Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh, when I stretch out my hand on Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.”
5 Misirancey ga bay mo kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi, saaya kaŋ ay n'ay kamba salle Misira boŋ, ay na Israyla izey kaa i game ra mo.»
6Moses and Aaron did so. As Yahweh commanded them, so they did.

7Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.

8Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
8 Rabbi salaŋ Musa nda Haruna se koyne ka ne:
9“When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Perform a miracle!’ then you shall tell Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it become a serpent.’”
9 «Da Firawna salaŋ araŋ se ka ne: ‹Ma dambara hari fo cabe› kala ni ma ne Haruna se: ‹Sambu ni goobo k'a catu Firawna jine, zama a ma ciya gondi.› »
10Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

11Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers. They also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same thing with their enchantments.
11 Waato din gaa Firawna mo na laakalkooney da moodabalkoyey ce. Ngey mo, Misira ziimey na woodin te da ngey moodabaley.
12For they each cast down their rods, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

13Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them; as Yahweh had spoken.
13 Firawna binde bina sandi, a mana maa i sanno se mo, danga mate kaŋ cine Rabbi ci din.
14Yahweh said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn. He refuses to let the people go.
14 Rabbi ne Musa se: «Firawna bina sandi, a wangu mo ka borey taŋ.
15Go to Pharaoh in the morning. Behold, he goes out to the water; and you shall stand by the river’s bank to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.
15 Ma koy Firawna do suba susubay. A go, a ga koy haro me gaa. Ni mo, ma kay isa me gaa zama ni ma kubay d'a. Goobo kaŋ bare ka te gondi, kala ni ma kond'a ni kambe ra.
16You shall tell him, ‘Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to you, saying, “Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness:” and behold, until now you haven’t listened.
16 Ma ne a se: ‹Rabbi Irikoy, Ibraniyancey wano n'ay donton ni gaa. A ne: Ni m'ay borey taŋ zama i ma may ay se saajo ra. A go mo, hala sohõ ni mana maa.
17Thus says Yahweh, “In this you shall know that I am Yahweh. Behold, I will strike with the rod that is in my hand on the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
17 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Yawo gaa no ni ga bay kaŋ ay ya Rabbi no: a go, goobo kaŋ go ay kambe ra wo, ay ga haro kaŋ go isa ra kar d'a, haro ga bare ka te kuri mo.
18The fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall become foul; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink water from the river.”’”
18 Hamisey kaŋ go isa ra mo ga bu. Isa haro ga fumbu, Misirancey mo ga isa haro haŋyaŋ fanta!› »
19Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their ponds of water, that they may become blood; and there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.’”
19 Rabbi ne Musa se koyne: «Ma ne Haruna se: ‹Sambu ni goobo ka ni kamba salle Misira harey boŋ: i goorey, d'i hari zurey, d'i gulley, d'i bangey kulu boŋ. I ma bare ka ciya kuri, hala kuri ma bara Misira laabo kulu ra, bundu jinay da tondi wane kulu ra.› »
20Moses and Aaron did so, as Yahweh commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and struck the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
20 Musa nda Haruna binde te yaadin, danga mate kaŋ Rabbi n'i lordi nd'a. A na goobo sambu, a na isa haro kar Firawna nda nga bannyey jine. Haro kulu mo kaŋ go isa ra ciya kuri.
21The fish that were in the river died; and the river became foul, and the Egyptians couldn’t drink water from the river; and the blood was throughout all the land of Egypt.
21 Hamisey kaŋ yaŋ go isa ra bu. Isa binde fumbu hala Misirancey si hin ka isa haro haŋ. Kuri go Misira laabo kulu ra.
22The magicians of Egypt did the same thing with their enchantments; and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them; as Yahweh had spoken.
22 Misira ziimey mo na woodin te da ngey moodabaley, Firawna bina sandi mo koyne. A mana maa i se, danga mate kaŋ Rabbi ci.
23Pharaoh turned and went into his house, and he didn’t even take this to heart.
23 Firawna bare ka koy nga kwaara. A mana woodin saal nga bina ra.
24All the Egyptians dug around the river for water to drink; for they couldn’t drink of the water of the river.
24 Misirancey kulu soobay ka fansi isa jabo gaa zama ngey ma du haŋyaŋ hari, zama i si hin ka isa haro haŋ.
25Seven days were fulfilled, after Yahweh had struck the river.
25 Kaŋ Rabbi na isa karyaŋ te banda, a to jirbi iyye.
26 Rabbi ne Musa se koyne: «Ma furo Firawna do ka ne a se: ‹Yaa no Rabbi ci: Ma fay d'ay borey, i ma fatta zama i ma may ay se.
27 Da ni wangu k'i taŋ mo, to! ay ga ni laabo kulu me-a-me kar da balancaw.
28 Isa ga to da balancaw*, kaŋ yaŋ ga kaaru ka furo ni windo ra da ni naŋ-kaniya ra da ni dima boŋ da ni bannyey windey ra nda ni borey boŋ da ni feemey ra nda buuru diibiyaŋ haro ra.
29 Balancawey ga kaaru ni gaahamo boŋ da ni borey boŋ da ni bannyey kulu waney boŋ.› »
