1For every high priest, being taken from among men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
1 Zama alfaga beeri kulu, Irikoy g'a suuban no borey game ra. Borey se mo no a g'a daŋ nga muraadey ra, zama a ma nooyaŋey da sargayey salle zunubey sabbay se.
2The high priest can deal gently with those who are ignorant and going astray, because he himself is also surrounded with weakness.
2 A ga hin suuru nda ammey da darantey, za kaŋ nga bumbo gonda londibuunay kambu kulu gaa.
3Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for sins for the people, as well as for himself.
3 Woodin sabbay se mo no a ga hima a ma sargayyaŋ salle nga boŋ se, mate kaŋ cine a ga te jama se.
4Nobody takes this honor on himself, but he is called by God, just like Aaron was.
4 Boro kulu si no mo kaŋ ga beera wo sambu nga boŋ se -- kala nda Irikoy n'a ce, danga mate kaŋ cine a na Haruna* ce d'a.
5So also Christ didn’t glorify himself to be made a high priest, but it was he who said to him, “You are my Son. Today I have become your father.” Psalm 2:7
5 Yaadin no Almasihu mo. Manti nga no ka nga boŋ beerandi nga ma ciya alfaga beeri bo, amma Irikoy kaŋ salaŋ a se ne: «Ni ya ay izo no. Hunkuna no ay na ni hay.»
6As he says also in another place, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.” Psalm 110:4
6 Mate kaŋ a ci mo Zabura ra nangu fo ka ne: «Ni ya alfaga no hal abada, Malcizadaka wano cine.»
7He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,
7 A ndunnya gora waate, Almasihu na adduwa nda ŋwaarayyaŋ te da hẽeni korno nda mo-mundi Irikoy gaa, nga kaŋ gonda dabari kaŋ g'a faaba ka kaa buuyaŋ ra. Irikoy ta a se mo zama a humbur'a.
8though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered.
8 Baa kaŋ nga ya ize no, kulu nda yaadin a na ganayaŋ dondon taabi kaŋ a haŋ do.
9Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,
9 Waato kaŋ a ciya toonante, a te hal abada faaba daliili borey kulu kaŋ yaŋ g'a gana se.
10named by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
10 Irikoy mo n'a daŋ a ma ciya alfaga beeri, Malcizadaka wano cine.
11About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing.
11 Iri gonda hari boobo mo kaŋ iri ga ci a boŋ, kaŋ i feeriyaŋ ga sandi no, zama araŋ ciya boroyaŋ kaŋ si tara ka maa.
12For although by this time you should be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food.
12 Zama araŋ kaŋ haciika araŋ gayyaŋo sabbay se, araŋ hima ka te dondonandikoyaŋ, hala hõ araŋ ga laami nda boro fo kaŋ ga Irikoy Sanno kaajo sintina dondonandi araŋ se. Araŋ ciya boroyaŋ kaŋ ga laami nda wa, manti nda ŋwaari tiŋo bo.
13For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.
13 Zama boro kulu kaŋ ga wa haŋ sinda bayray adilitaray sanni ra, zama attaciriya no.
14But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
14 Amma ŋwaari tiŋo go boro toonantey se, kaŋ yaŋ i waati kulu goyey do i doona lasaabuyaŋ ka ihanno da ilaalo fayanka.
