Isaiah

29

1Woe to Ariel! Ariel, the city where David encamped! Add year to year; let the feasts come around;
1 Kaari nin, ya Ariyel, Ariyel! Nin, gallo kaŋ ra Dawda na wongu marga zumandi. Jiiri ma jiiri gana, Batey ma soobay ka bare ka kaa.
2then I will distress Ariel, and there will be mourning and lamentation. She shall be to me as an altar hearth .
2 Waato din gaa no ay ga Ariyel kankam. Kwaara ra borey ga bu baray da hẽeni te, A ga ciya ay se danga Irikoy sargay feema cine mo.
3I will encamp against you all around you, and will lay siege against you with posted troops. I will raise siege works against you.
3 Ay ga ni windi nda wongu marga, Ay ma wongu daaga da wongu cinari sinji ni se, Ay ma tun ni se da wongu fu kuuku yaŋ.
4You will be brought down, and will speak out of the ground. Your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will be as of one who has a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and your speech will whisper out of the dust.
4 Ay ga ni ye ganda mo. Ganda laabo ra no ni jinda ga fun, Ni sanno ga fun laabu bulungo ra. Ni jinda ga fun ganda, Danga boro kaŋ gonda ganako wane cine. Ni sanney ga fun ganda laabo ra mo, Sanda ciinay wane cine.
5But the multitude of your foes will be like fine dust, and the multitude of the ruthless ones like chaff that blows away. Yes, it will be in an instant, suddenly.
5 Amma ni ibarey kunda baayaŋ ga bara sanda kusa baano cine. Kunda din kaŋ si bakar ga hima sanda du kaŋ ga tun cine. Fap! folloŋ! no i ga kaa, jirsi boŋ.
6She will be visited by Yahweh of Armies with thunder, with earthquake, with great noise, with whirlwind and storm, and with the flame of a devouring fire.
6 Rabbi Kundeykoyo ga ni taabandi da beene kaatiyaŋ, da laabu zinjiyaŋ, Da kosongu bambata, da hari haw bambata, Da alma haw beeri da danji beele kaŋ go ga ŋwa.
7The multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all who fight against her and her stronghold, and who distress her, will be like a dream, a vision of the night.
7 Ndunnya dumey kunda kulu mo kaŋ yaŋ go ga wongu nda Ariyel, Sanda wo kulu kaŋ yaŋ goono ga nga nda nga wongu cinarey wongu k'a taabandi mo, I kulu ga ciya sanda hindiri nda cin ra bangandi.
8It will be like when a hungry man dreams, and behold, he eats; but he awakes, and his hunger isn’t satisfied; or like when a thirsty man dreams, and behold, he drinks; but he awakes, and behold, he is faint, and he is still thirsty. The multitude of all the nations that fight against Mount Zion will be like that.
8 A ga ciya sanda boro kaŋ haray, A ma hindiri ka di nga go ga ŋwa, Amma d'a mo hay, a gunda go koonu. Wala mo boro kaŋ maa jaw, day a ma hindiri, A ma di kaŋ nga goono ga hari haŋ, amma d'a mo hay, Kal a ma di nga go ga yangala, nga jawo mana fun. Yaadin cine no ndunnya dumey kunda kulu ga ciya, Ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga Sihiyona tondo wongu.
9Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
9 Wa hangan, wa dambara, Wa araŋ moy daabu ka te danawyaŋ. Borey bugu, kaŋ manti nda duvan. I goono ga teeni-teeni amma manti baji haŋyaŋ se no.
10For Yahweh has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, the prophets; and he has covered your heads, the seers.
10 Zama Rabbi na jirbi futo taŋ araŋ gaa. A n'araŋ moy daabu, kaŋ ga ti annabey. A n'araŋ boŋey bangum, kaŋ ga ti jina fonnaykoy.
11All vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is educated, saying, “Read this, please”; and he says, “I can’t, for it is sealed:”
11 Bangando kulu mo hima araŋ se sanda tira kaŋ i daabu ka kawaatimi kar a gaa. I m'a no tira bayko se ka ne: «Ay ga ni ŋwaaray, ma woone caw.» Nga mo ma ne: «Ay si hin, zama i n'a daabu ka kawaatimi kar a gaa.»
12and the book is delivered to one who is not educated, saying, “Read this, please”; and he says, “I can’t read.”
12 I ma tira no mo boro kaŋ si waani cawyaŋ se ka ne: «Ay ga ni ŋwaaray, ma woone caw.» Nga mo ma ne: «Ay si tira bay.»
13The Lord said, “Because this people draws near with their mouth and with their lips to honor me, but they have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which has been taught;
13 Koy Beero binde ne: «Jama wo goono ga maan ay do da ngey meyey, Ngey me-kuurey mo no i goono g'ay beerandi nd'a, Amma i biney ga mooru ay. Humburkuma kaŋ i gonda ay se, Borey alaada no kaŋ i dondon.
14therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men will be hidden.”
14 Woodin sabbay se binde, a go, Ay ga ye ka dambara hari fo te koyne jama wo do, Dambara hari kaŋ ga dambarandi mo. Zama i laakalkooney laakaley ga halaci, I fahamantey fahama mo ga daray.»
15Woe to those who deeply hide their counsel from Yahweh, and whose works are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us?” and “Who knows us?”
15 Kaari borey kaŋ yaŋ ga ceeci ngey ma mollo ka ngey saawarey tugu Rabbi se! I goyey mo, i g'i te kubay ra. I goono ga ne mo: «May no ga di iri? May mo no ga bay iri gaa?»
16You turn things upside down! Should the potter be thought to be like clay; that the thing made should say about him who made it, “He didn’t make me”; or the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding?”
16 Araŋ na hay kulu barmay! To! Kusu cinako wo, Boro g'a lasaabu danga nga nda botogo kulu afo no? D'a ta day, haŋ kaŋ i te, A ma ne bora kaŋ na nga te din se: «Ni man'ay te no.»? Haŋ kaŋ i cina mo, a ma ne bora kaŋ na nga cina din se: «Ni sinda fahamay.»?
17Isn’t it yet a very little while, and Lebanon will be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field will be regarded as a forest?
17 D'a tonton kayna Liban ga bare ka ciya fari kaŋ ga nafa hay. Fari kaŋ doona ka nafa hay mo ga bare ka ciya sanda saaji tuuri zugu. Wala manti yaadin no?
18In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of obscurity and out of darkness.
18 Han din hane lutey ga maa tira sanney, Danawey ga fun almaari kambe da kubay ra hal i moy ma di.
19The humble also will increase their joy in Yahweh, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
19 Taabantey ga ye ka farhã koyne Rabbi ra. Adam-izey ra alfukaarey mo ga te bine kaani Israyla wane Hananyankoyo ra.
20For the ruthless is brought to nothing, and the scoffer ceases, and all those who are alert to do evil are cut off—
20 Zama boro kaŋ si bakar ga jaŋ, Donda-caraykoy mo ga ban. Rabbi ga laala hangankoy kulu tuusu mo,
21who cause a person to be indicted by a word, and lay a snare for the arbiter in the gate, and who deprive the innocent of justice with false testimony.
21 Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga boro kalima sann'ize folloŋ se. I ga korfo hirri boro kaŋ goono ga kaseeti faada meyo gaa din se. I ga cimikoy zamba nda kobay yaamo.
22Therefore thus says Yahweh, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall no longer be ashamed, neither shall his face grow pale.
22 Woodin sabbay se binde, yaa no Rabbi kaŋ na Ibrahim fansa ci Yakuba dumo boŋ: «Yakuba si haaw sohõ, a alhaalo mo si bare.
23But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they will sanctify my name. Yes, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.
23 Zama alwaati kaŋ a ga di nga izey, Kaŋ yaŋ ga ti ay kambey goyo nga game ra, Kal i m'ay maa fay waani. Oho, i ga Yakuba wane Hananyankoyo fay waani ka humburu Israyla Irikoyo.
24They also who err in spirit will come to understanding, and those who grumble will receive instruction.”
24 Borey mo kaŋ yaŋ goono ga kamba ngey laakaley ra ga du fahamay. Jancekoy mo ga dondonandiyaŋ ta.»
