Isaiah

41

1“Keep silent before me, islands, and let the peoples renew their strength. Let them come near, then let them speak. Let’s meet together for judgment.
1 Ya araŋ teeku me gaa laabey, wa dangay ay jine. Ndunnya dumey mo ma ngey gaabey tajandi. I ma maan ay gaa, i ma salaŋ. Iri ma maan care gaa sanni dumbuyaŋ se.
2Who has raised up one from the east? Who called him to his foot in righteousness? He hands over nations to him, and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow.
2 May no ga boro fo tunandi a ma fun wayna funay haray, A m'a ce adilitaray ra mo a ma kaa nga cey cire. Rabbi ga ndunnya dumey nooyandi a se gomni, A ga naŋ a ma koyey may, A g'i ciya sanda kusa cine da nga takuba, A m'i gaaray mo sanda du cine da nga birawo.
3He pursues them, and passes by safely, Even by a way that he had not gone with his feet.

4Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Yahweh, the first, and with the last, I am he.”
4 May no k'a waadu k'a te mo? May no ga zamaney ce za sintina? To, ay no, Rabbi, kaŋ ga ti Sintina da Bananta mo, ay ga ti NGA.
5The islands have seen, and fear. The ends of the earth tremble. They approach, and come.
5 Teeku me gaa laabey ga di, i ga humburu mo. Ndunnya meyey ga jijiri, i ga maan, i ga to kwaara.
6Everyone helps his neighbor. They say to their brothers, “Be strong!”
6 I afo kulu ga nga gorokasin gaa. Afo kulu ga ne nga nya-ize se: «Ma te gaabi!»
7So the carpenter encourages the goldsmith. He who smoothes with the hammer encourages him who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldering, “It is good”; and he fastens it with nails, that it might not totter.
7 Sace binde ga zam bine gaabandi a ma haw daŋ. Boro kaŋ goono ga tooro sasabandi nda ndarka mo ga zam bine gaabandi, A goono ga sinadar goy te ka ne: «A ga boori!» A g'a kanji mo da kuusayzeyaŋ, a ma si zinji se.

11Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.
11 A go, borey kaŋ yaŋ ga dukur da nin kulu ga haaw, i ga di kayna mo. Borey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga kusuuma nda ni mo ga ciya yaamo ka halaci.
12You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a non-existent thing.
12 Ni g'i ceeci, ni si di ey. Ngey kaŋ ga kusuuma nda nin. Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga ni wongu mo ga ciya yaamo danga i mana bara.
13For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’

14Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says Yahweh, “and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
14 Ma si humburu, nin, noon'izo Yakuba. Nin, ya Israyla, ay ga ni gaa,» Yaadin no ni Fansakwa* Rabbi ci, Israyla wane Hananyankoyo nooya.
15Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.

16 Ni g'i faaru, haw mo g'i sambu, Alma haw g'i say-say. Amma nin wo, ni ga farhã Rabbi do, Ma du darza Israyla wane Hananyankoyo ra.
17The poor and needy seek water, and there is none. Their tongue fails for thirst. I, Yahweh, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
17 Alfukaarey da gazantey goono ga hari ceeci, Amma a si no. I deeney mo koogu jaw sabbay se. Ay, Rabbi, ay ga tu i se. Ay, Israyla Irikoyo, ay s'i furu bo.

26Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? And before, that we may say, ‘He is right?’ Surely, there is no one who declares. Surely, there is no one who shows. Surely, there is no one who hears your words.
26 May no ka woodin bangandi za sintina, Zama iri ma du ka bay? May no k'a ci za doŋ mo hal iri ma ne: «A gonda cimi»? Haciika bangandiko si no, haciika cabeko si no, Haciika araŋ sanney maako fo mo si no.
