Isaiah

56

1Thus says Yahweh, “Keep justice, and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
1 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Wa cimi ciiti haggoy, wa adilitaray goy te, Zama ay faaba maan kaayaŋ, Ay adilitara mo maan bangayyaŋ.
2Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
2 Albarkante no boro kaŋ ga woone te, Albarkante mo no Adam-ize kaŋ ga gaabu a gaa: Boro kaŋ ga asibti* haggoy a ma s'a ziibandi, A ma haggoy mo nda nga kambey hal i ma si goy laalo kulu te.
3Neither let the foreigner, who has joined himself to Yahweh, speak, saying, “Yahweh will surely separate me from his people”; neither let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
3 Yaw mo kaŋ na nga boŋ margu nda Rabbi ma si ne: «Daahir no Rabbi n'ay fay da nga jama.» Mantaw mo ma si ne: «Ay neeya, ay ya tuuri kogo no.»
4For thus says Yahweh, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:
4 Zama yaa no Rabbi ci: Mantawey kaŋ yaŋ haggoy d'ay asibtey, I na muraadey kaŋ yaŋ ga kaan ay se suuban mo, I n'ay sappa di da gaabi --
5to them I will give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
5 Ay windo ra d'ay cinari beerey ra no ay g'i no nangu, Da maa hanno kaŋ ga bisa burcini ize arey da wayey wane. Ay g'i no maa kaŋ ga duumi, kaŋ si fun i gaa.

7 Ngey mo, kal ay ma kand'ey ay tondi hananta do, Ya i biney kaanandi mo ay adduwa windo ra. I sargayey kaŋ i ga ton d'i nooyaŋey, Ay ga yadda nd'ey ay sargay feema boŋ, Zama i ga ne ay windo se adduwa windi ndunnya dumey kulu se.
8The Lord Yahweh, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “Yet will I gather others to him, besides his own who are gathered.”

9All you animals of the field, come to devour, all you animals in the forest.
9 Ya araŋ, ganji hamey kulu, wa kaa ka ŋwa. Oho, araŋ kulu, saajo tuuri zugay ra hamey.
10His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they can’t bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.
10 Kwaara batukoy gonda danawtaray, i kulu sinda bayray. I kulu hansiyaŋ no kaŋ gonda beebetaray, I si waani ŋwafuyaŋ. Hindirikoyaŋ, kanikoyaŋ, dusungu baakoyaŋ no.
11Yes, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds who can’t understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.
11 Oho, hansey din ga bini gumo, i si kungu hal abada. Hawjiyaŋ mo no kaŋ yaŋ si waani ka fayanka. I afo kulu bare ka ye nga boŋ fondo ganayaŋ ra, Afo kulu koy nga boŋ riiba do haray, I kulu na ngey boŋ nafa ceeci.
12“Come,” say they, “I will get wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, great beyond measure.”
12 I go ga ne: «Wa kaa iri ma kande duvan, Iri ma baji gudug-gudug. Suba mo ga ciya sanda hunkuna, Hala mo a ma bis'a zaati.»
