Isaiah

6

1In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.
1 Jiiro kaŋ ra bonkoono Uzziya bu din no ay di Koy Beero go ga goro karga boŋ kaŋ go hala beene, a bankaaray meyo mo na fuwo kulu kubay.
2Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew.
2 A boŋ do sifayaŋ malaykayaŋ goono ga kay, i afo kulu gonda fata iddu. Fata hinka no afo kulu ga nga moyduma daabu nd'a, fata hinka no a ga nga cey daabu nd'a, fata hinka mo no a ga deesi nd'a.
3One called to another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!”
3 Afo mo g'afo ce ka ne: «Hananyankoy, Hananyankoy, Hananyankoy no Rabbi Kundeykoyo! Ndunnya kulu go toonante nd'a darza.»
4The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.
4 Fu meyey bundey tiksey zinji-zinji waati kaŋ i maa ceekwa jinda, fuwo mo to da dullu.
5Then I said, “Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh of Armies!”
5 Waato din gaa no ay ne: «Kaari ay! ay halaci, za kaŋ ay ya boro no kaŋ me-kuurey si hanan. Ay goono ga goro mo boroyaŋ game ra kaŋ me-kuurey si hanan. A go mo ay moy di Koy Beero, Rabbi Kundeykoyo.»
6Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
6 Gaa no sifayaŋ malaykey din ra afo tun ka kaa ay do. A gonda danj'ize ga gaay nga kambe ra kaŋ a sambu nda kambu feema ra.
7He touched my mouth with it, and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven.”
7 A n'ay meyo ham d'a ka ne: «Guna, woone lamba ni me-kuurey gaa. I na ni taalo tuusu, i na ni zunubey yaafa mo.»
8I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
8 Kal ay maa Koy Beero jinde kaŋ goono ga ne: «May no ay ga donton, may mo no ga koy iri se?» Waato din gaa ay ne: «Ay neeya, ni m'ay donton.»
9He said, “Go, and tell this people, ‘You hear indeed, but don’t understand; and you see indeed, but don’t perceive.’
9 Nga mo ne: «Ma koy ka ci dumo wo se ka ne: Maayaŋ ra, araŋ ga maa, amma araŋ si faham. Gunayaŋ ra mo, araŋ ga di, amma araŋ si fayanka.
10Make the heart of this people fat. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.”
10 Ni ma naŋ dumo wo biney ma te tijina, M'i hangey sandandi, M'i moy daabu zama i ma si di da ngey moy, I ma si maa da ngey hangey, I ma si faham da ngey biney, I ma si ye ka bare ay do hal i ma du baani mo.»
11Then I said, “Lord, how long?” He answered, “Until cities are waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land becomes utterly waste,
12And Yahweh has removed men far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.
12 Hala mo Rabbi ma borey moorandi, Kurmey mo ma baa laabo bindo ra.
13If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed: as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remains when they are felled; so the holy seed is its stock.”
13 Amma hala hõ laabo boro way kulu ra boro fo ga cindi. Cindo bumbo, danji ga ye k'a ŋwa, A ga hima sanda boosay nya, Wala shen tuuri nya cine, Kaŋ tiksa ga cindi d'i n'a beeri. Yaadin cine no, dumi hananta ga ti cindo tiksa.»
