1Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went early, while it was still dark, to the tomb, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.
1 Za da hinay jirbi iyya zaari sintina, za kubay-kubay go no, Maryama, Magdaliya bora kaa saara do. A di kaŋ i na tondo kaa saara gaa.
2Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have laid him!”
2 A binde zuru ka kaa Siman Bitros da talibi fa din kaŋ Yesu ga ba do. A ne i se: «I na Rabbi sambu ka kaa saara ra. Iri si bay mo naŋ kaŋ i n'a jisi.»
3Therefore Peter and the other disciple went out, and they went toward the tomb.
3 Bitros da talibi fa din binde fatta ka koy saara do.
4They both ran together. The other disciple outran Peter, and came to the tomb first.
4 I goono ga zuru ka koy care banda.
5Stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying, yet he didn’t enter in.
5 A niigaw ka guna saara ra. Kal a di lin* zaarey goono ga jisi sallante ngey nango ra, amma a mana furo saara ra.
6Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying,
6 Siman Bitros mo kaa a banda. A furo saara ra. A di lin zaarey goono ga jisi sallante ngey nango ra,
7and the cloth that had been on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.
7 da diko kaŋ go boŋo gaa. A di woodin si zaarey ra jisante, amma a go kunkunante nangu fo waani nga hinne.
8So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed.
8 Waato gaa talibi fa din mo kaŋ jin ka kaa saara do furo. Nga mo di ka cimandi.
9For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
9 Zama hala hõ i mana faham da Irikoy Tira Hanna kaŋ ne tilas a ga tun ka fun buukoy game ra.
10So the disciples went away again to their own homes.
10 Talibey ye ka koy ngey kwaara.
11But Mary was standing outside at the tomb weeping. So, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb,
11 Amma Maryama kay saara do taray, a goono ga baray. Waato kaŋ a go bara gaa, kal a niigaw ka guna saara ra.
12and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
12 A di malayka hinka kaŋ yaŋ gaa bankaaray kwaaray yaŋ go. I goono ga goro, afo boŋo do, afa mo cey do, nango kaŋ Yesu kani doŋ.
13They told her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have laid him.”
A ne i se: «Zama i n'ay Rabbo sambu, ay si bay mo naŋ kaŋ i n'a jisi.»
14When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, and didn’t know that it was Jesus.
14 Waato kaŋ a na woodin ci, a bare ka zagu. A di Yesu goono ga kay, amma a mana bay kaŋ Yesu no.
15Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”
May no ni go ga ceeci?» Maryama mo tammahã kali koyo no. A ne a se: «Ay jine bora, da nin no n'a sambu ka kond'a nangu fo, ma ci ay se nango kaŋ ni n'a jisi, ay mo g'a sambu.»
16Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him, “Rabboni Rabboni is a transliteration of the Hebrew word for “great teacher.” !” which is to say, “Teacher or, Master !”
(Danga Alfa nooya.)
17Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers, and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
17 Yesu ne a se: «Ma s'ay di zama ay mana kaaru ka koy Baaba do jina. Amma ma koy ay nya-izey do ka ci i se ka ne ay goono ga kaaru ka koy ay Baaba nd'araŋ Baaba do, ay Irikoyo nd'araŋ Irikoyo no.»
18Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had said these things to her.
19When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were locked where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be to you.”
19 Zaaro din wiciri kambo, habo zaari sintina ra, kaŋ fu meyey go daabante nango kaŋ talibey go Yahudancey humburkumay sabbay se, Yesu kaa ka kay i bindo ra ka ne: «Laakal kanay ma bara araŋ banda.»
20When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad when they saw the Lord.
Talibey binde farhã waato kaŋ i di Rabbi.
21Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”
21 Yesu binde ne i se koyne: «Laakal kanay ma bara araŋ banda. Mate kaŋ cine Baaba n'ay donton, yaadin cine no ay mo g'araŋ donton.»
22When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit!
22 Waato kaŋ a na woodin ci, a funsu i gaa ka ne: «Wa Biya Hanna ta.
23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, they have been forgiven them. If you retain anyone’s sins, they have been retained.”
23 Boro kulu kaŋ araŋ n'a zunubey yaafa a se, Irikoy jin k'i yaafa a se nooya. Boro kulu mo kaŋ araŋ g'a zunubey lasaabu a se, Irikoy jin k'i lasaabu a se nooya.»
24But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, wasn’t with them when Jesus came.
24 Amma Toma, kaŋ ga ti i boro way cindi hinka ra afo, kaŋ se i ga ne Taway, nga wo si i banda waato kaŋ Yesu kaa.
25The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
Amma a ne i se: «D'ay mana di kuusayzey dolley a kambey ra, d'ay man'ay kambayzo daŋ kuusayzey nangey ra, d'ay man'ay kamba daŋ a carawo ra mo, kulu ay si cimandi abada.»
26After eight days again his disciples were inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace be to you.”
26 Jirbi ahakku banda a talibey go fuwo ra koyne, Toma mo go i banda. Yesu kaa, fu meyey go daabante. A kaa ka kay i bindo ra ka ne i se: «Laakal kanay ma bara araŋ banda.»
27Then he said to Thomas, “Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don’t be unbelieving, but believing.”
28Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”
28 Toma tu a se ka ne: «Ay Rabbo nd'ay Irikoyo!»
29Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, TR adds “ Thomas,” you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed.”
29 Yesu ne a se: «Zama ni di ay, ni cimandi. Albarkante no borey kaŋ yaŋ mana di, amma i cimandi.»
30Therefore Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book;
30 Alaama boobo fooyaŋ go no kaŋ Yesu te talibey jine kaŋ si hantumante tira wo ra.
31but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.
31 Amma woone yaŋ go hantumante zama araŋ ma cimandi kaŋ Yesu ga ti Almasihu, Irikoy Izo, cimandiyaŋ ra mo araŋ ma du fundi a maa ra.
