1Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
1 Rabbi salaŋ Musa da Haruna se ka ne:
2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.
2 «Araŋ ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne: Fundikooney kaŋ yaŋ araŋ ga hin ka ŋwa ndunnya almaney kulu ra neeya:

32On whatever any of them falls when they are dead, it shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; then it will be clean.
32 Hay kulu mo kaŋ boŋ i buukwa kaŋ ga harram, da jinay me hayante no kaŋ i te nda bundu, wala bankaaray no, wala kuuru, wala foolo me hayante jinay kulu kaŋ no, kaŋ boro ga goy fo te d'a. Kala boro m'a bakandi hari ra. A ga harram kala wiciri kambu. Woodin banda a ga ye ka hanan.

42Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep on the earth, them you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
