17

1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se ka ne:
2“Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded,
2 «Ni ma salaŋ Haruna nda nga izey se, da Israyla izey kulu se mo, ma ci i se ka ne: Wa maa sanno kaŋ Rabbi ci:
3Whatever man there is of the house of Israel, who kills a bull, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp,
3 Israyla izey ra alboro kulu kaŋ na yeeji wi, wala feeji, wala hincin, d'a n'a wi gata ra wala gata banda,
4and hasn’t brought it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to offer it as an offering to Yahweh before the tabernacle of Yahweh: blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people.
4 amma a mana kand'a kubayyaŋ hukumo meyo gaa ka salle sargay Rabbi se, nga Irikoyo nangora jine -- i ga kuri lasaabu bora din boŋ. A na kuri dooru. I ma bora din waasu ka kaa nga jama ra.
5This is to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, that they may bring them to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them for sacrifices of peace offerings to Yahweh.
5 I ga woodin te mo zama Israyla izey ma kande ngey sargayey, kaŋ yaŋ i goono ga salle saajo ra. I ma kand'ey Rabbi do, ka kaa hala kubayyaŋ hukumo meyo gaa. I ma kand'ey alfaga do k'i salle danga saabuyaŋ sargayyaŋ Rabbi se.
6The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
6 Yaadin no alfaga mo ga kuro say-say Rabbi sargay feema gaa, noodin kubayyaŋ hukumo meyo gaa. A ma maano ton mo hal a ma te haw kaano Rabbi se.
7They shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat idols, after which they play the prostitute. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.’
7 I ma si ngey sargayey wi koyne ganjey se, kaŋ waato i go ga kaaruwataray* te i banda. Sanney din ma goro ka ciya i se hin sanni kaŋ ga duumi, zamana ka koy zamana.
8“You shall say to them, ‘Any man there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
8 Koyne, ni ma ci i se ka ne: boro kulu kaŋ no, da Israyla izey ra no wala yawey kaŋ go i game ra ga goro no, d'a na sargay ton wala a n'a salle,
9and doesn’t bring it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to sacrifice it to Yahweh; that man shall be cut off from his people.
9 a mana kand'a kubayyaŋ hukumo meyo gaa, hal i g'a sarga Rabbi se, i ma bora din waasu ka kaa nga jama ra.
10“‘Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
10 Woodin banda boro kulu kaŋ no, da Israyla izey ra no, wala yawey kaŋ yaŋ ga goro araŋ do no, nd'a na kuri dumi kulu ŋwa, ay ga gaaba nda bora din kaŋ na kuro ŋwa. Ay g'a waasu ka kaa nga jama ra mo.
11For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.
11 Zama gaaham fundo go kuro ra kaŋ ay no araŋ se sargay feema boŋ hal a ma sasabandiyaŋ te araŋ fundey se. Zama kuri no ga sasabandiyaŋ te fundi sabbay se.
12Therefore I have said to the children of Israel, “No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood.”
12 A se no ay salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne: Araŋ fundi fo kulu ma si kuri ŋwa. Yaw kulu mo kaŋ ga goro araŋ game ra, nga mo ma si kuri ŋwa.
13“‘Whatever man there is of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who takes in hunting any animal or bird that may be eaten; he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.
13 Boro kulu kaŋ no Israyla izey ra, wala yawey kaŋ yaŋ go i do ga goro no, d'a koy fooyaŋ ka ganji ham fo wala curo fo di, boro kaŋ ga halal m'a ŋwa, kal a m'a kuro mun ganda laabo ra k'a daabu nda laabu.
14For as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life: therefore I said to the children of Israel, “You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”
14 Zama gaaham fundo ciine ra, a kuro no ga saba nd'a fundo. Woodin sabbay se no ay ne Israyla izey se: araŋ ma si ham dumi kulu kuri ŋwa, zama ham kulu fundi ga ti a kuro. Boro kulu kaŋ g'a ŋwa, i g'a koy tuusu.
15“‘Every person that eats what dies of itself, or that which is torn by animals, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening: then he shall be clean.
15 Boro kaŋ na jifa ŋwa mo, wala ham fo kaŋ ganji hamey tooru, da bora din ga ti laab'ize wala yaw kaŋ ga goro, kal a ma nga bankaarayey nyuna, nga bumbo mo ma nyumay da hari. A ga goro iziibo kala wiciri kambu. Waato din gaa no a ga hanan.
16But if he doesn’t wash them, or bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.’”
16 Amma nd'a mana nyuna, wala a mana nyumay kal a ma nga wane taalo jare.»
