23

1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:
2“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘The set feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts.
2 «Ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne: Rabbi batey alwaatey kaŋ a jisi, kaŋ araŋ ga fe i ma te marga hananteyaŋ, ay batey alwaatey neeya:
3“‘Six days shall work be done: but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings.
3 Jirbi iddu ra no i ga goy, amma jirbi iyyanta ga ti asibti*, fulanzamyaŋ hanno zaari no. I ma te marga hanante. Araŋ ma si goy dumi kulu te. Fulanzamyaŋ hane no Rabbi se, araŋ windey kulu ra.
4“‘These are the set feasts of Yahweh, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their appointed season.
4 Woone yaŋ no ga ti Rabbi batey alwaatey kaŋ a jisi, danga, marga hanantey kaŋ yaŋ araŋ ga fe ngey alwaatey ra:
5In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Yahweh’s Passover.
5 Handu sintina ra, a jirbi way cindi taaca hane, wiciri kambo ra ga ti Rabbi Paska*.
6On the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread to Yahweh. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.
6 Hando din jirbi way cindi guwanta hane mo ga ti buuru kaŋ sinda dalbu bato Rabbi se. Jirbi iyye no araŋ ga buuru kaŋ sinda dalbu ŋwa.
7In the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no regular work.
7 Zaari sintina ra araŋ ma te marga hananyankoy, araŋ ma si taabi goy kulu te.
8But you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh seven days. In the seventh day is a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.’”
8 Amma araŋ ma sargay salle kaŋ i ga ton danji ra Rabbi se kala jirbi iyye. Jirbi iyyanta mo marga hanante no, araŋ ma si taabi goy kulu te.»
9Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
9 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:
10“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its the harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest:
10 «Ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne: D'araŋ ga furo laabo kaŋ ay g'araŋ no din ra, d'araŋ na heemar dumi izey wi mo, kal araŋ ma kande araŋ dumi izey boŋ-jina boko alfaga do.
11and he shall wave the sheaf before Yahweh, to be accepted for you. On the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
11 Nga mo ga bokwa feeni Rabbi jine, i ma yadda nd'a araŋ se. Asibti wane suba no alfaga g'a feeni.
12On the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb without blemish a year old for a burnt offering to Yahweh.
12 Han din kaŋ araŋ na bokwa feeni mo, araŋ ma kande feeji gaaru ize kaŋ sinda laru, haraŋ ize. I m'a salle a ma te sargay kaŋ i ga ton Rabbi se.
13The meal offering with it shall be two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to Yahweh for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.
13 A hamni sarga mo ga ti hamni baano diibante nda ji, zaka hinza. Sargay kaŋ i ga salle danji ra Rabbi se no, ka te haw kaano. A haŋyaŋ sarga mo ga ti duvan* butal fo da jare.
14You shall eat neither bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh grain, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God. This is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
14 Araŋ mo, araŋ ma si buuru ton, wala jeeni kogo, wala jirmay kala han din hane, sanda kala nd'araŋ jin ka kande araŋ Irikoyo nooyaŋo. Woodin ma ciya hin sanni kaŋ ga duumi araŋ zamaney kulu ra, araŋ nangoray kulu do.
15“‘You shall count from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be completed:
15 Araŋ ma lasaabu mo, za asibto din wane suba kaŋ araŋ kande feeniyaŋ bokey kala asibti iyye ma kubay.
16even to the next day after the seventh Sabbath you shall number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal offering to Yahweh.
16 Sanda, jirbi waygu kaŋ araŋ ga lasaabu ka to asibti iyyanta wane suba. Han din araŋ ma kande hamni taji sargay Rabbi se.
17You shall bring out of your habitations two loaves of bread for a wave offering made of two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour. They shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to Yahweh.
17 Araŋ ma kande buuru kunkuni hinka ka fun araŋ windey ra feeniyaŋ se. I m'i te da hamni baano zaka hinza; i m'i fuurandi nda dalbu k'i ton, boŋ-jina no Rabbi se.
18You shall present with the bread seven lambs without blemish a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to Yahweh, with their meal offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Yahweh.
18 Buuro banda mo araŋ ma no feej'ize iyye kaŋ yaŋ sinda laru kulu, haraŋ izeyaŋ, da yeej'ize fo da feeji gaaru hinka. I m'i salle sargay summaare kaŋ i ga ton Rabbi se. I ma kande mo i ŋwaari sarga d'i haŋyaŋ sarga, sanda danji ra sargay kaŋ haw ga kaan Rabbi se.
19You shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
19 Araŋ ma hincin jindi fo salle ka te zunubi se sargay, da feeji gaaru ize hinka, haraŋ izeyaŋ, ka te saabuyaŋ sargay.
20The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before Yahweh, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to Yahweh for the priest.
20 Alfaga g'i feeni, ngey da boŋ-jina buurey, ka te feeniyaŋ sargay Rabbi jine, da feej'ize hinka din mo. I ga hanan Rabbi se. Alfaga ga du ey.
21You shall make proclamation on the same day: there shall be a holy convocation to you; you shall do no regular work. This is a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
21 Han din hane mo araŋ ma fe ka ne i ma te marga hanante, i ma si taabi goy kulu te. Woodin wo hin sanni kaŋ ga duumi no araŋ gorayey kulu do, hal araŋ zamaney me.
22“‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap into the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest: you shall leave them for the poor, and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.’”
22 D'araŋ n'araŋ laabo heemar ntaaso wi mo, ni ma si fari lokotey wi ka ban, ni ma si farey koobu mo. Amma ni ma fay d'ey alfukaarey da yawey se. Ay ya Rabbi no, araŋ Irikoyo.»
23Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
23 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:
24“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest to you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.
24 «Ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne: Handu iyyanta, hando jirbi sintina ma ciya araŋ se fonguyaŋ fulanzamay. Araŋ ma hilliyaŋ kar ka fongu ka marga hanante te.
25You shall do no regular work; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.’”
25 Araŋ ma si taabi goy kulu te, araŋ ga sargay salle danji ra Rabbi se mo.»
26Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
26 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:
27“However on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
27 «Amma handu iyyanta jirbi waya hane, han din no ga ti sasabandiyaŋ zaaro. A ga ciya marga hanante hane araŋ se. Araŋ m'araŋ fundey kaynandi ka sargay salle Rabbi se danji ra.
28You shall do no kind of work in that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Yahweh your God.
28 Araŋ ma si goy dumi kulu te han din hane, zama sasabandiyaŋo hane no kaŋ ga sasabandiyaŋ te araŋ se Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo jine.
29For whoever it is who shall not deny himself in that same day; shall be cut off from his people.
29 Zama boro kulu kaŋ mana nga boŋ kaynandi han din hane, i ga bora din waasu ka kaa nga jama ra.
30Whoever it is who does any kind of work in that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.
30 Boro kulu mo kaŋ ga goy dumi fo te han din hane, i ga bora din halaci ka kaa nga jama ra.
31You shall do no kind of work: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
31 Araŋ ma si goy dumi kulu te. Woodin hin sanni no kaŋ ga duumi araŋ zamaney kulu ra, naŋ kulu kaŋ araŋ go da goray.
32It shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall deny yourselves. In the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall keep your Sabbath.”
32 A ga ciya araŋ se danga sududuyaŋ fulanzamay zaari. Araŋ m'araŋ fundey kaynandi. Za hando jirbi yagganta wiciri kambo kal a wane suba wiciri kambo no araŋ g'araŋ asibto haggoy.»
33Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
33 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:
34“Speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of tents for seven days to Yahweh.
34 «Ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne: handu iyyanta din, a jirbi way cindi guwa hane no ga ti tanda bato kaŋ i ga te kala jirbi iyye fo Rabbi se.
35On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.
35 A zaari sintina gaa i ma marga hanante te. Araŋ ma si taabi goy kulu te.
36Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.
36 Han kulu kala jirbi iyye i ma sargay salle Rabbi se danji ra. Jirbi ahakkanta hane mo, i ma ye ka marga hananyankoy te, ka sargay salle Rabbi se danji ra. Sududuyaŋ marga no. Araŋ ma si taabi goy kulu te.
37“‘These are the appointed feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, and a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day;
37 Woodin yaŋ Rabbi batey no. Araŋ g'i fe ka ne i ma marga hanante te. I ma sargayyaŋ salle Rabbi se danji ra, sargay summaare kaŋ i ga ton, da ŋwaari sargay da haŋyaŋ sargay, i kulu ngey zaarey ra.
38besides the Sabbaths of Yahweh, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to Yahweh.
38 I ga woodin yaŋ te baa Rabbi asibti haney baa si, d'araŋ nooyaŋey baa si, d'araŋ sarti banayaŋ kulu, d'araŋ bine yadda nooyaŋey kulu, kaŋ yaŋ araŋ ga no Rabbi se.
39“‘So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of Yahweh seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.
39 Amma handu iyyanta ra, a jirbi way cindi guwa hane, waato kaŋ araŋ na laabo heemaro ntaaso wi ka kande barma do, kal araŋ ma Rabbi bato haggoy kala jirbi iyye. A zaari sintina, i m'a te sududuyaŋ fulanzamay zaari. A zaari ahakkanta mo, i m'a te sududuyaŋ fulanzamay zaari.
40You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God seven days.
40 A zaari sintina mo araŋ ma tuuri-nya kulu kaŋ gonda nafa izey sambu, ka tandayaŋ cina nda teenay kambe yaŋ, da tuuri kaŋ kobtey ga baa, da tuuri-nyaŋey kaŋ go gooru me. Araŋ ma farhã mo Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo jine kala jirbi iyye.
41You shall keep it a feast to Yahweh seven days in the year: it is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall keep it in the seventh month.
41 Araŋ ma Rabbi bato haggoy a se mo jirbi iyye jiiri kulu ra. Woodin wo hin sanni kaŋ ga duumi no araŋ zamaney kulu ra. Araŋ ga woodin haggoy handu iyyanta ra.
42You shall dwell in booths seven days. All who are native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths,
42 Araŋ ma goro tandayaŋ ra kala jirbi iyye. Araŋ kulu kaŋ i hay Israyla laabo ra ma goro tandayaŋ ra.
43that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’”
43 Zama araŋ waddey kulu ma bay kaŋ ay na Israyla izey gorandi tandayaŋ ra alwaato kaŋ ay n'i fattandi i ma fun Misira laabo ra. Ay ya Rabbi no, araŋ Irikoyo.»
44Moses declared to the children of Israel the appointed feasts of Yahweh.
44 Kala Musa na batey kulu kaŋ yaŋ Rabbi ci dede Israyla izey se.
