Luke

8

1It happened soon afterwards, that he went about through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good news of the Kingdom of God. With him were the twelve,
1 A gay kayna woodin banda, Yesu goono ga dira ka windi ka Irikoy koytara Baaru Hanna waazu kwaara kulu nda kawye kulu ra. Talibi way cindi hinka go a banda,
2and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out;
2 da wayboro fooyaŋ mo kaŋ yaŋ a n'i no baani ka follayyaŋ wala dooriyaŋ kaa i gaa. Afo, i ga ne a se Maryama, Magdaliya boro no, kaŋ a banda follay iyye fun.
3and Joanna, the wife of Chuzas, Herod’s steward; Susanna; and many others; who served them from their possessions.
3 Afo mo Yuwanna no, kaŋ a kurnye Kuza ga te jine funa Hirodus se, afo koyne ga ti Suzana, da iboobo fooyaŋ mo. Ngey wo, ngey arzakey ra no i ga kaa ka Yesu nda nga talibey laamey bana.
4When a great multitude came together, and people from every city were coming to him, he spoke by a parable.
4 Han fo, kaŋ borey marga bambata fo margu ka kaa Yesu do ka fun kwaarey kulu ra, kal a ci i se misa fo. A ne:
5 “The farmer went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some fell along the road, and it was trampled under foot, and the birds of the sky devoured it.
5 «Dum'izey sayko fo fatta ka koy zama a ma nga dum'izey say. Kaŋ a go sayyaŋo gaa, gure fooyaŋ kaŋ fonda jarga. I n'i taamu-taamu, beene curey mo n'i ŋwa.
6 Other seed fell on the rock, and as soon as it grew, it withered away, because it had no moisture.
6 Cindey mo kaŋ tondi batama boŋ. Kaŋ i sintin ka fun, kal i koogu, zama i sinda hari.
7 Other fell amid the thorns, and the thorns grew with it, and choked it.
7 Cindey mo kaŋ karjey game ra. Kaŋ i fun care banda, kala karjey na dum'izey koote.
8 Other fell into the good ground, and grew, and brought forth fruit one hundred times.” As he said these things, he called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
8 Amma cindey kaŋ laabu hanna ra. I fun, i beeri, i te albarka, hala labu-care zangu.» Kaŋ Yesu na woodin ci, kal a na jinde tunandi ka ne: «Boro kaŋ gonda hanga kaŋ ga maa, a ma maa!»
9Then his disciples asked him, “What does this parable mean?”
9 A talibey goono g'a hã misa wo, mate kaŋ no a bara nd'a.
10He said, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables; that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
11 Misa wo neeya: Dum'izey ya Irikoy Sanno no.
12 Those along the road are those who hear, then the devil comes, and takes away the word from their heart, that they may not believe and be saved.
12 Fonda jarga waney ga ti borey kaŋ yaŋ ga maa, waato din gaa Iblisi ga kaa ka sanno kaa i biney ra, hal i ma si cimandi ka du faaba.
13 Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, who believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.
13 Tondi boŋ waney ga ti borey kaŋ yaŋ ga maa, ka sanno ta nda farhã. Amma i sinda kaaji. Jirbi kayna fooyaŋ no i ga gana, amma siyaŋ alwaato ra i ga ye banda.
14 That which fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
14 Karji game ra waney ga ti borey kaŋ yaŋ ga maa, amma fundo wo muraadey d'a arzaka, da fundi woone kaani harey ra, i g'i koote, hal i si ize hay kaŋ ga nin.
15 That in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it tightly, and bring forth fruit with patience.
15 Amma laabu hanna ra waney, ngey wo ga ti borey kaŋ yaŋ maa sanno bine cimikoy ra kaŋ ihanno mo no, kaŋ yaŋ goono g'a yaari, kaŋ yaŋ goono ga te albarka mo suuru ra.
16 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container, or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
16 Wa guna. Boro kulu si no kaŋ ga fitilla diyandi k'a daabu nda kusu, wala a m'a daŋ daari cire, amma a g'a dake taablo boŋ zama furokoy ma di kaaro.
17 For nothing is hidden, that will not be revealed; nor anything secret, that will not be known and come to light.
17 Zama hay kulu si tugante kaŋ i s'a bangandi. Hay kulu mo si kaŋ go gundu ra kaŋ i s'a kaa taray kwaaray.
18 Be careful therefore how you hear. For whoever has, to him will be given; and whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he thinks he has.”
Zama boro kaŋ gonda, nga se no i ga no. Boro kaŋ sinda mo, i ga baa haŋ kaŋ a ga tammahã go nga se ta a gaa.»
19His mother and brothers came to him, and they could not come near him for the crowd.
19 Yesu nya d'a nya izey kaa a do, amma i mana du ka maan a do borey marga sabbay se.
20It was told him by some saying, “Your mother and your brothers stand outside, desiring to see you.”
20 Kala borey ci Yesu se ka ne: «Ni nya da ni nya izey go no taray ga kay, i ga ba ngey ma di nin.»
21But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God, and do it.”
21 Amma a tu ka ne i se: «Ay nya d'ay nya izey ga ti woone yaŋ, kaŋ yaŋ goono ga maa Irikoy Sanno k'a te.»
22Now it happened on one of those days, that he entered into a boat, himself and his disciples, and he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out.
22 A go no mo, han fo jirbey din ra, kaŋ a furo hi ra, nga nda nga talibey. A ne i se: «Iri ma daŋandi ka koy teeko banda ya-haray.» Kal i tun.
23But as they sailed, he fell asleep. A wind storm came down on the lake, and they were taking on dangerous amounts of water.
23 Kaŋ i goono ga daŋandi, kala Yesu jirbi. Haw beeri fo mo tun ka faaru teeko boŋ. Hiyo goono ga to da hari, hal i go kataru ra.
24They came to him, and awoke him, saying, “Master, master, we are dying!” He awoke, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm.
24 I kaa Yesu do k'a tunandi ka ne: «Iri jine bora, iri jine bora, iri ga ba ka halaci!» Amma nga wo, kaŋ a mo hay, a deeni hawo da hari bondayey gaa. Kal i kulu dangay ka kay, tak!
25He said to them, “Where is your faith?” Being afraid they marveled, saying one to another, “Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?”
25 Waato din gaa no a ne i se: «Man araŋ cimbeero*?» Kal i humburu, ka dambara ka ne care se: «May no boro wo kaŋ ga salaŋ baa hawo nda haro se, hala mo i maa a sanney se?»
26They arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee.
26 I fandi ka to Gadarancey laabo kaŋ go Galili laabo tanjay.
27When Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man out of the city who had demons for a long time met him. He wore no clothes, and didn’t live in a house, but in the tombs.
27 Waato kaŋ a fatta ka laabo taamu, kala boro fo fatta kwaara ra k'a kubay, kaŋ follokom no. A gay ka fay a ma bankaaray daŋ, a si goro fu ra mo, kala saarayey game ra.
28When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, “What do I have to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torment me!”
29For Jesus was commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For the unclean spirit had often seized the man. He was kept under guard, and bound with chains and fetters. Breaking the bands apart, he was driven by the demon into the desert.
30Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered into him.
30 Yesu n'a hã ka ne: «Mate ni maa?» A tu ka ne: «Iri ya jama no.» (Zama follay boobo no a banda.)
31They begged him that he would not command them to go into the abyss.
31 Kal i na Yesu ŋwaaray ka ne a ma si ngey lordi ngey ma koy hala guuso kaŋ sinda me ra.
32Now there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain, and they begged him that he would allow them to enter into those. He allowed them.
32 Gursuna* kuru bambata fo go noodin, kaŋ yaŋ goono ga kuru fando boŋ. Kal a yadda i se.
33The demons came out from the man, and entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake, and were drowned.
33 Kala follayey fun bora banda ka koy furo gursuney ra. Ngey mo te nyagas! ka do teeko ra ka yoole.
34When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled, and told it in the city and in the country.
34 Waato kaŋ kurukoy di haŋ kaŋ te, i zuru ka koy ka baaro ci gallo da kawyey ra.
35People went out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
35 Borey fatta mo ka kaa ka di haŋ kaŋ te. I kaa Yesu do ka bora gar kaŋ banda follayey fun. A gonda bankaaray, a gonda nga laakalo, ga goro ganda Yesu jarga. Hal i humburu.
36Those who saw it told them how he who had been possessed by demons was healed.
36 Borey kaŋ di mo dede mate kaŋ follokomo te ka du baani.
37All the people of the surrounding country of the Gadarenes asked him to depart from them, for they were very much afraid. He entered into the boat, and returned.
37 Kala no-haray borey kulu, Gadarancey, na Yesu ŋwaaray a ma dira ngey do, zama humburkumay bambata n'i di. Woodin banda Yesu furo hi ra zama nga ma ye.
38But the man from whom the demons had gone out begged him that he might go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,
38 Amma bora kaŋ banda follayey fun din n'a ŋwaaray da himma nga ma goro Yesu banda. Amma Yesu n'a sallama ka ne:
39 “Return to your house, and declare what great things God has done for you.” He went his way, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
40It happened, when Jesus returned, that the multitude welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.
40 Waato kaŋ Yesu ye ka kaa, borey marga n'a kubayni, zama i goono g'a batu.
41Behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. He fell down at Jesus’ feet, and begged him to come into his house,
41 Guna, boro fo kaa kaŋ a maa ga ti Yayirus. Bora din i diina marga jine boro fo no. A kaa ka ganda biri Yesu jine ka soobay k'a ŋwaaray a ma kaa nga kwaara,
42for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying. But as he went, the multitudes pressed against him.
42 zama nga gonda ize wandiyo folloŋ, nga hinne mo no ga ti a se ize. A gonda sanda jiiri way cindi hinka cine, a goono ga ba ka bu mo. Kaŋ Yesu go fonda ra ga koy binde, kala borey marga n'a kankam.
43A woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her living on physicians, and could not be healed by any,
43 Wayboro fo mo go no kaŋ goono ga kuri dooru jiiri way cindi hinka. Boro kulu mana hin k'a no baani mo.
44came behind him, and touched the fringe of his cloak, and immediately the flow of her blood stopped.
Sahãadin-sahãadin a kuro dooruyaŋo kay.
45Jesus said, “Who touched me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes press and jostle you, and you say, ‘Who touched me?’
45 Kala Yesu ne: «May no k'ay ham?»
46But Jesus said, “Someone did touch me, for I perceived that power has gone out of me.”
46 Amma Yesu ne: «Boro fo n'ay ham, zama ay wo bay kaŋ dabari fatta ay gaa.»
47When the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared to him in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
47 Kaŋ waybora di nga si tugu, a jijiri ka kaa ka ganda biri Yesu jine ka dede jama kulu jine haŋ kaŋ se no nga n'a ham da mo mate kaŋ baani te d'a sahãadin.
48He said to her, “Daughter, cheer up. Your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
49While he still spoke, one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house came, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Don’t trouble the Teacher.”
49 Za Yesu go sanno din ciyaŋ gaa, kala boro fo kaa ka fun diina marga jine bora kwaara ka ne: «Ni ize wayo bu. Ma si Alfa taabandi koyne.»
50But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.”
50 Amma kaŋ Yesu maa woodin, a tu a se ka ne: «Ma si humburu, kala day ni ma cimandi, a ga du baani mo.»
51When he came to the house, he didn’t allow anyone to enter in, except Peter, John, James, the father of the child, and her mother.
51 Kaŋ a furo fuwo ra, a mana naŋ boro kulu ma furo nga banda kala Bitros, da Yohanna, da Yakuba, da wandiya din baabo d'a nyaŋo.
52All were weeping and mourning her, but he said, “Don’t weep. She isn’t dead, but sleeping.”
52 Boro kulu mo goono ga hẽ ka baray. Amma Yesu ne: «Araŋ ma si hẽ. A mana bu bo, day jirbi gaa n'a go.»
53They were ridiculing him, knowing that she was dead.
53 Amma i dond'a k'a haaru, zama i bay kaŋ a bu.
54But he put them all outside, and taking her by the hand, he called, saying, “Child, arise!”
54 Amma Yesu n'a kamba di k'a ce ka ne: «Wandiya, tun!»
55Her spirit returned, and she rose up immediately. He commanded that something be given to her to eat.
55 Kal a biya ye a gaa. A tun mo sahãadin. Yesu ne i m'a no ŋwaari.
56Her parents were amazed, but he commanded them to tell no one what had been done.
