1Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se Sinayi ganjo ra, i Misira laabo ra fun yaŋo jiiri hinkanta, handu sintina ra. A ne:
2“Moreover let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season.
2 «Israyla izey ma Paska* batu te nga alwaato boŋ.
3On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season—according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances, you shall keep it.”
3 Handu woone ra, a jirbi way cindi taacanta hane, wiciri kambu haray, araŋ g'a gaay nga alwaato boŋ, a farilla sanney kulu boŋ, a ganayaŋ fondey kulu boŋ mo no araŋ g'a gaay.»
4Moses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should keep the Passover.
4 Kala Musa salaŋ Israyla izey se hal i ma Paska bato te.
5They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.
5 Ngey mo na Paska te jirbi way cindi taacanta hane, handu sintina ra, wiciri kambu haray, alwaato kaŋ i go Sinayi ganjo ra. Mate kulu kaŋ Rabbi ci Musa se, yaadin no Israyla izey mo te.
6There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.
6 Boro fooyaŋ go no kaŋ yaŋ harram buuko gaa lambayaŋ se, hal i mana du ka Paska bato te han din hane. Ngey mo kaa Musa nda Haruna do zaaro din ra,
7Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”
7 ka ne Musa se: «Iri wo, iri harram buuko gaa lambayaŋ sabbay se. Ifo se no i g'iri gaay, iri ma si du ka Rabbi sarga te a alwaato boŋ, Israyla izey game ra?»
8Moses answered them, “Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.”
8 Musa mo ne i se: «Wa kay ne hal ay ma maa haŋ kaŋ no Rabbi ga ci araŋ boŋ.»
9Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
9 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se ka ne:
10“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.
10 «Ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne: D'araŋ wala araŋ banda boro fo go no kaŋ harram buuko gaa lambayaŋ sabbay se, wala mo d'a go naaruyaŋ ra nangu mooro, kulu nda yaadin a ga Paska bato te Rabbi se.
11In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
11 Handu hinkanta ra jirbi way cindi taacanta, wiciri kambu haray no i g'a te. I m'a hamo ŋwa, nga nda buuru kaŋ sinda dalbu, da kobto fotto yaŋ mo.
12They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it.
12 I ma si naŋ a hamo kulu ma cindi ka di mo boyaŋ, i ma si a biri fo kulu ceeri mo. Paska farilla sanney kulu boŋ no i g'a haggoy.
13But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
13 Amma bora kaŋ ga hanan, a si naaruyaŋ ra mo, day a ma jaŋ ka Paska bato te, i g'a koy kaa nga dumey ra, zama a mana kande Rabbi sarga nga alwaato ra. Bora din ga nga taalo jare.
14“‘If a foreigner lives among you, and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh; according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner, and for him who is born in the land.’”
15On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony: and at evening it was over the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.
15 Hano kaŋ hane i na Irikoy nangora sinji, kala buru yuumay fo na Irikoy nangora daabu, kaŋ ga ti kubayyaŋ hukumo seeda. Da cino to, a go Irikoy nangora se danga danji, kala mo ma bo.
16So it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.
16 Yaadin no a go waati kulu. Buru yuumay m'a daabu zaari, cin mo danga danji no.
17Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel encamped.
17 Da buro ziji hukumo boŋ beene, waato din gaa no Israyla izey mo ga tun ka dira. Nangu kaŋ buro ga zumbu, noodin no Israyla izey mo ga gata sinji.
18At the commandment of Yahweh, the children of Israel traveled, and at the commandment of Yahweh they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped.
18 Rabbi sanno boŋ no Israyla izey ga dira, Rabbi sanno boŋ mo no i ga zumbu. Alwaati kulu kaŋ buru yuuma goono ga goro Irikoy nangora boŋ, ngey mo ga goro ngey gata ra.
19When the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept Yahweh’s command, and didn’t travel.
19 Da buru yuuma gay Irikoy nangora boŋ jirbi boobo, Israyla izey mo ga Rabbi goyo haggoy, i si dira.
20Sometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Yahweh they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Yahweh they traveled.
20 A ga ciya mo, da buru yuuma ga goro Irikoy nangora boŋ jirbi kayna fooyaŋ, Rabbi sanno boŋ ngey mo ga goro ngey gata ra. Rabbi sanno boŋ no i ga dira.
21Sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled: or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled.
21 A ga ciya mo koyne, da buro ga goro za wiciri kambu kala mo boyaŋ, kala nda buro ziji, waato din gaa no i ga dira. Baa zaari haray no wala cin haray no, da buro ziji, kulu jama mo ga dira.
22Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled.
22 D'a to jirbi hinka, wala handu fo, wala jiiri fo, kaŋ buro goono ga gay Irikoy nangora boŋ ga goro noodin, kulu Israyla izey mo ga goro no gata ra, i si dira. Amma saaya kaŋ buro ziji, ngey mo ga dira.
23At the commandment of Yahweh they encamped, and at the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. They kept Yahweh’s command, at the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
23 Rabbi sanno boŋ no i ga gata sinji. Rabbi sanno boŋ mo no i ga dira. I na Rabbi goyo haggoy, mate kaŋ Rabbi ci i se Musa do.
