Psalms

141

1Yahweh, I have called on you. Come to me quickly! Listen to my voice when I call to you.
1 Dawda baytu fo no. Ya Rabbi, ay goono ga ni ce, ma cahã ka kaa ay do. Ma hanga jeeri ay jinda se waati kaŋ ay na ni ce.
2Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.
2 Ma naŋ ay adduwey ma salle ni jine sanda dugu cine, Ay kambe salleyaŋo ma hima sanda wiciri kambu sarga.
3Set a watch, Yahweh, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.
3 Ya Rabbi, ma haggoyko daŋ ay meyo se. Ma batuko daŋ ay me-kuurey se.
4Don’t incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity. Don’t let me eat of their delicacies.
4 Ma s'ay bina miila siirandi a ma koy hari laalo kulu do, Kaŋ ga naŋ ay ma furo laala goy muraadu ra, Taali-teerey banda. Ma si naŋ ay m'i laam'izey ŋwa.
5Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness; let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; don’t let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.
5 Naŋ day adilante m'ay kar baakasinay ra, A ma kaseeti ay gaa mo. Amma boro laaley ma si baa ji tuusu ay boŋo gaa, Zama ay adduwa ga tonton nda jina koyyaŋ ka gaaba nda i goy laaley.
6Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock. They will hear my words, for they are well spoken.
6 Da i n'i maykoy catu ganda i ma fun tondi jabu gaa, Gaa no jama ga maa ay sanney, zama i ga kaan.
7“As when one plows and breaks up the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol .”
7 Sanda mate kaŋ cine i ga laabu beeri farmi waate, Yaadin cine no i biriyey go ga say-say saarayey me gaa.
8For my eyes are on you, Yahweh, the Lord. In you, I take refuge. Don’t leave my soul destitute.
8 Zama ay moy, ya Rabbi, Koy Beero, i go ni gaa, Ni do no ay ga koru. Ma s'ay fundo naŋ kosaray si.
9Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
9 M'ay batu k'ay waa da kumsa kaŋ i deeniya ay se, Kaŋ ga ti taali-teerey hirrimey.
10Let the wicked fall together into their own nets, while I pass by.
10 Naŋ boro laaley ma kaŋ ngey taaru hirrimey ra. Day ay wo, ay ma bisa baani samay.
