Revelation

9

1The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky which had fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him.
1 Malayka guwanta mo kar. Ay di handariyayze fo mo kaŋ jin ka fun beene ka kaŋ ndunnya boŋ. I n'a no guusu kuuko kaŋ sinda me saaf'izo.
2He opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke from a burning furnace. The sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the pit.
2 A na guuso din meyo feeri. Dullu mo ciciri ka fun guuso ra, sanda dudal bambata dullu cine, hala beene batama nda wayna te kubay guuso kaŋ sinda me dullo sabbay se.
3Then out of the smoke came forth locusts on the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
3 Dullo ra mo doyaŋ fatta ka koy ndunnya boŋ. I n'i no dabari mo sanda mate kaŋ ndunnya daŋ gonda dabari.
4They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those people who don’t have God’s seal on their foreheads.
4 I ci i se mo ka ne i ma si ndunnya subu, wala hay fo tayo kulu wala tuuri nya kulu sara. Kala day borey hinne kaŋ yaŋ sinda Irikoy kawaatimo ngey sukutey gaa.
5They were given power not to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion, when it strikes a person.
5 I n'i daŋ i ma si borey din wi mo, amma i m'i gurzugandi handu gu. I gurzuga mo go sanda daŋ wane cine, waati kaŋ a na boro ton.
6In those days people will seek death, and will in no way find it. They will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
6 Jirbey din ra borey ga buuyaŋ ceeci, i si du a mo, mate kaŋ i n'a ceeci nd'a kulu. I ga ba buuyaŋ, buuyaŋ mo ga zuru i se.
7The shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for war. On their heads were something like golden crowns, and their faces were like people’s faces.
7 Dowey din himandi mo ga hima bariyaŋ kaŋ i soola wongu se. I boŋey gaa mo, sanda koytaray fuulayaŋ kaŋ ga hima wura no ka bara. I moydumey mo danga borey moyduma no.
8They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like those of lions.
8 I gonda boŋ hamni mo sanda wayboro boŋ hamni. I hinjey mo sanda muusu beeri wane yaŋ no.
9They had breastplates, like breastplates of iron. The sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, or of many horses rushing to war.
9 I gonda ganda gaa kosaray mo, sanda guuru-bi wane. I fatey yooja mo go sanda torkoyaŋ kosongu kaŋ bari boobo go ga candi ka zurandi ka koy wongu do.
10They have tails like those of scorpions, and stings. In their tails they have power to harm men for five months.
10 I gonda dibbayaŋ kaŋ gonda naaji mo danga daŋ wane cine. I dibbey ra mo no i dabaro go kaŋ i ga borey maray d'a hala handu gu.
11They have over them as king the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is “Abaddon,” but in Greek, he has the name “Apollyon.”
11 I gonda ngey bonkooni ngey boŋ, guuso kaŋ sinda me malayka nooya. Yahudance ciine ra a maa ga ti Abadon. Gareku sanno ra mo a gonda maa Abolyon, _kaŋ a feerijo ga ti Halaciko|_.
12The first woe is past. Behold, there are still two woes coming after this.
12 Balaaw sintina bisa, guna mo balaaw hinka go banda ga kaa.
13The sixth angel sounded. I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God,
13 Malayka iddanta mo kar. Ay maa jinde fo mo kaŋ fun wura sargay feema kaŋ go Irikoy jine din hilley do.
14saying to the sixth angel who had one trumpet, “Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!”
14 A goono ga ci malayka iddanta kaŋ gonda hilli se ka ne: «Malayka taaca din kaŋ yaŋ go hawante Ufratis isa beero me gaa, m'i feeri.»
15The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they might kill one third of mankind.
15 Kal a na malayka taaca din feeri, kaŋ yaŋ i soola saaya nda zaaro nda hando nda jiiro sabbay se, zama ndunnya borey kanandi hinza ra i ma kanandi fo wi.
16The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million . I heard the number of them.
16 Sooje bari-kari jama lasaabo mo, zambar way no hala sorro zambar way hala sorro hinka, _(danga million zangu hinka nooya)|_. Ay maa i lasaabuyaŋo mo.
17Thus I saw the horses in the vision, and those who sat on them, having breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of lions. Out of their mouths proceed fire, smoke, and sulfur.
17 Guna mo, mate kaŋ ay di bangayyaŋ ra, bariyey da borey kaŋ yaŋ go i boŋ neeya: I gonda ganda gaa kosaray kaŋ ga ciray sanda danji cine, kaŋ ga boogu, kaŋ ga say mo. Bariyey boŋey mo, sanda muusu beeri boŋ cine yaŋ no. I meyey ra mo danji da dullu da sufar* goono ga fatta.
18By these three plagues were one third of mankind killed: by the fire, the smoke, and the sulfur, which proceeded out of their mouths.
18 Balaaw hinza din do no, danji, da dullu nda sufar kaŋ goono ga fun i meyey ra, i na borey kanandi hinza ra afo wi.
19For the power of the horses is in their mouths, and in their tails. For their tails are like serpents, and have heads, and with them they harm.
19 Zama bariyey dabaro go i meyey ra d'i dibbey ra. Zama i dibbey ga hima gondiyaŋ. I gonda boŋyaŋ. Ngey mo no i goono ga borey maray d'a.
20The rest of mankind, who were not killed with these plagues, didn’t repent of the works of their hands, that they wouldn’t worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk.
21They didn’t repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their sexual immorality, nor of their thefts.
21 I mana tuubi mo ka fay nda ngey care wiyaŋ, wala ngey moodabal teeyaŋey, wala ngey zina teeyaŋey wala ngey zaytaray mo.
