16

1They brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.
1 I kande Irikoy sundurko mo k'a jisi hukumo kaŋ Dawda sinji a se din ra. A na sargay kaŋ i ga ton da saabuyaŋ sargayyaŋ mo salle Irikoy jine.
1And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.
2 Waato kaŋ Dawda na sargayey kaŋ i ga ton da saabuyaŋ sargayey mo salle ka ban, kal a na albarka gaara jama se Rabbi maa ra.
2And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah.
3He dealt to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.

3And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion [of flesh], and a cake of raisins.
4He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:
4 Lawiti fooyaŋ mo, a n'i daŋ i ma goy te Rabbi sundurko jine, sanda i ma Rabbi, Israyla Irikoyo beerandi, k'a saabu, k'a sifa mo.
4And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Jehovah, the God of Israel:
5Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;

5Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
6and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

7Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to Yahweh, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.

7Then on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto Jehovah, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8Oh give thanks to Yahweh. Call on his name. Make his doings known among the peoples.
8 Wa Rabbi saabu k'a maa ce! W'a te-goyey bayrandi dumey game ra!
8O give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known his doings among the peoples.
9Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.
9 Wa doon a se! wa sifayaŋ baytu te a se! W'a dambara goyey kulu deda te.
9Sing unto him, sing praises unto him; Talk ye of all his marvellous works.
10Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
10 Wa araŋ fooma te a maa hanna sabbay se. Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga Rabbi ceeci, biney ma kaan.
10Glory ye in his holy name; Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
11Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
11 Wa Rabbi nda nga hino ceeci, W'a ceeci duumi.
11Seek ye Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore.
12Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
12 Ya araŋ, a tamo Israyla dumo, Ya Yakuba izey, a wane suubanantey!
12Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
13you seed of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

13O ye seed of Israel his servant, Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14He is Yahweh our God. His judgments are in all the earth.

14He is Jehovah our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
15Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
15 Wa fongu a alkawlo gaa hal abada, Kaŋ ga ti sanno kaŋ a lordi zamana zambar se,
15Remember his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
16the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.

16[The covenant] which he made with Abraham, And his oath unto Isaac,
17He confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
17 A n'a tabbatandi Yakuba se a ma ciya hin sanni, Sanda Israyla se nooya a ma ciya alkawli kaŋ ga duumi.
17And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,”
18 A goono ga ne: «Ni se no ay ga Kanaana laabo no, Ni tubo baa nooya..»
18Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;
19when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners were in it.
19 Waato kaŋ i go boro ciraariyaŋ, Oho, ikayna fooyaŋ no, yawyaŋ mo no laabo ra,
19When ye were but a few men in number, Yea, very few, and sojourners in it;
20They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
20 I di ka bar-bare kunda ka koy kunda, Koytaray fo ka koy jama fo do mo,
20And they went about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people.
21He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
21 A mana naŋ boro fo kulu m'i kankam. A deeni bonkooniyaŋ gaa i sabbay se ka ne:
21He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
22 «Araŋ ma s'ay wane suubanantey ham, Wa si hasaraw te ay annabey* se mo.»
22[Saying], Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.
23Sing to Yahweh, all the earth! Display his salvation from day to day.
23 Ya araŋ ndunnya kulu, wa baytu te Rabbi se. W'a faaba baaru hanna fe zaari ka koy zaari.
23Sing unto Jehovah, all the earth; Show forth his salvation from day to day.
24Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.
24 W'a darza dede dumi cindey game ra, A dambara goyey mo dumey kulu game ra.
24Declare his glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples.
25For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.
25 Zama Rabbi ya Beeraykoy no, A to sifayaŋ beeri gumo, A to i ma humbur'a mo ka bisa koyey kulu.
25For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised: He also is to be feared above all gods.
26For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.
26 Zama dumi cindey toorey kulu ya hari yaamoyaŋ day no, Amma Rabbi no ka beeney te.
26For all the gods of the peoples are idols: But Jehovah made the heavens.
27Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.
27 Beeray da koytaray darza go a jine, Gaabi nda farhã mo go a do.

28Ascribe to Yahweh, you relatives of the peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!
28 Ya araŋ dumey kulu almayaaley, wa Rabbi seeda! Wa Rabbi darza nd'a gaabo seeda!
28Ascribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength;
29Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship Yahweh in holy array.
29 Wa Rabbi darza kaŋ ga saba nd'a maa seeda. Wa kande ŋwaari sargay ka bangay a jine. Wa sududu Rabbi se zama a gonda darza hanno.
29Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name: Bring an offering, and come before him: Worship Jehovah in holy array.
30Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can’t be moved.
30 Ya araŋ ndunnya kulu, wa jijiri a jine. Daahir no ndunnya sinji hala mate kaŋ a si zinji.

31Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice! Let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns!”
31 Beeney ma maa kaani, ganda mo ma farhã. Dumi cindey ra i ma ne: «Rabbi no ga may!»
31Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth.
32Let the sea roar, and its fullness! Let the field exult, and all that is therein!
32 Teeko ma dundu, nga nda nga tooyaŋo. Saajo mo ma zamu, nga nda hay kulu kaŋ go a ra.
32Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; Let the field exult, and all that is therein;
33Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth.
33 Gaa no saaji tuuri-nyaŋey mo ga doon Rabbi jine farhã sabbay se, Zama a goono ga kaa ka ndunnya ciiti.
33Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy before Jehovah; For he cometh to judge the earth.
34Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
34 Wa saabu Rabbi se, zama nga ya booriyaŋ koy no, Zama a baakasinay suujo ga tondo hal abada.
34O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.
35Say, “Save us, God of our salvation! Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.”
35 Araŋ ma ne: «Ya iri Irikoyo kaŋ ga faaba, m'iri faaba. M'iri margu, m'iri kaa mo dumi cindey kambe ra. Zama iri ma saabu ni maa hanna se, Iri ma fooma te mo ni sifawo ra.»
35And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us together and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, And to triumph in thy praise.
36Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen,” and praised Yahweh.
36 Wa Rabbi, Israyla Irikoyo sifa, Za doŋ-doŋ kaŋ sinda me ka koy hal abada abadin. Gaa no jama kulu mo tu ka ne «Amin!!» I na Rabbi kuuku mo.
36Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said, Amen, and praised Jehovah.
37So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;

37So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;
38and Obed-Edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
38 Obed-Edom da nga nya-ize waydu cindi ahakko mo go noodin. Obed-Edom wo, Yedutun ize no, nga nda Hosa mo, windi me batukoyaŋ no.
38and Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
39and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the tabernacle of Yahweh in the high place that was at Gibeon,
39 Alfa Zadok da nga nya-izey mo go noodin Rabbi nangora jine, nga kaŋ go Jibeyon tudo boŋ.
39and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded to Israel;
40 I goyo ga ti i ma sargay kaŋ i ga ton salle Rabbi se tonyaŋ sargay feema ra waati kulu, susubay nda wiciri kambu. I m'a te sanno kulu kaŋ i hantum Rabbi asariya ra din boŋ, haya kaŋ a na Israyla lordi nd'a.
40to offer burnt-offerings unto Jehovah upon the altar of burnt-offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Jehovah, which he commanded unto Israel;
41and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever;
41 Heman da Yedutun mo go i banda, ngey nda cindey kulu kaŋ yaŋ i suuban, k'i ce da ngey maayey. I goyo ga ti i ma saabu Rabbi se, «zama a baakasinay suujo ga tondo hal abada.»
41and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, because his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
42and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.

42and with them Heman and Jeduthun [with] trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and [with] instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
43All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
