1 Dawda ye ka ne: «Hala sohõ boro kaŋ ga cindi Sawulu dumo ra go no, wala? Zama ay ga ba ay ma gomni cabe a se Yonata sabbay se.»
1And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
2There was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba, and they called him to David; and the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” He said, “Your servant is he.”
2 Sawulu windo do haray binde bannya fo go no kaŋ se i ga ne Ziba. I n'a ce a ma kaa Dawda do. Bonkoono ne a se: «Nin no ga ti Ziba, wala?» A ne: «Ni bannya day neeya.»
2And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba, and they called him unto David; and the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
3The king said, “Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him?” Ziba said to the king, “Jonathan has yet a son, who is lame of his feet.”
3 Bonkoono ne: «D'a ta day, boro fo cindi Sawulu dumo ra, zama ay ma Irikoy gomno cabe a se?» Ziba ne bonkoono se: «Yonata do haray ize alboro fo cindi amma boro kaŋ laru no, ce hinka kulu gaa.»
3And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, who is lame of his feet.
4The king said to him, “Where is he?” Ziba said to the king, “Behold, he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo Debar.”
4 Bonkoono ne a se: «Man no a go?» Ziba ne bonkoono se: «Nga neeya Lo-Debar kwaara, Amiyel ize Macir windo ra.»
4And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo-debar.
5Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo Debar.
5 Bonkoono Dawda binde donton ka ne i m'a sambu Amiyel ize Macir windo ra kaŋ go Lo-Debar.
5Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo-debar.
6Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, and fell on his face, and showed respect. David said, “Mephibosheth.” He answered, “Behold, your servant!”
6 Mefiboset, Yonata izo binde, Sawulu ize kaa Dawda do. A ye ganda nga moyduma boŋ ka sombu. Dawda ne: «Mefiboset no, wala?» Nga mo tu ka ne: «Ni bannya day no!»
6And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came unto David, and fell on his face, and did obeisance. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold, thy servant!
7David said to him, “Don’t be afraid of him; for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your father. You shall eat bread at my table continually.”
7 Dawda ne a se: «Ma si humburu, zama haciika ay ga gomni cabe ni se ni baaba Yonata sabbay se. Ay ga ni kaayo Sawulu farey kulu yeti ni se. Ni ga ŋwa mo ay taablo do duumi.»
7And David said unto him, Fear not; for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
8He bowed down, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look on such a dead dog as I am?”
8 Kala Mefiboset sumbal ka ne: «Ifo no ay, ni bannya, hala nda ni m'ay guna, ay kaŋ hansi buuko no?»
8And he did obeisance, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
9Then the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said to him, “All that pertained to Saul and to all his house have I given to your master’s son.
9 Saaya din binde bonkoono na Ziba kaŋ ga ti Sawulu bannya ce ka ne a se: «Hay kulu kaŋ ga ti Sawulu wane za doŋ, hala nd'a windo kulu, ay n'a no ni koyo izo se.
9Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, All that pertained to Saul and to all his house have I given unto thy master's son.
10You shall till the land for him, you, and your sons, and your servants; and you shall bring in the harvest, that your master’s son may have bread to eat: but Mephibosheth your master’s son shall eat bread always at my table.” Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
Ziba binde gonda ize alboro way cindi gu, da bannya waranka.
10And thou shalt till the land for him, thou, and thy sons, and thy servants; and thou shalt bring in [the fruits], that thy master's son may have bread to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
11Then Ziba said to the king, “According to all that my lord the king commands his servant, so your shall servant do.” So Mephibosheth ate at the king’s table, like one of the king’s sons.
11 Saaya din binde Ziba ne bonkoono se: «Hay kulu boŋ kaŋ koyo ay bonkoono na ay, nga bannya lordi nd'a, yaadin no ni bannya ga te. Mefiboset ciine ra, mate kaŋ bonkoono ne, nga mo ga soobay ka ŋwa a taablo boŋ ka saba nda bonkoono izey.»
11Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king commandeth his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, [said the king], he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
12Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Mica. All that lived in the house of Ziba were servants to Mephibosheth.
12 Mefiboset gonda ize alboro kayna kaŋ se i ga ne Mika. Borey kulu kaŋ go Ziba windo ra mo goono ga may Mefiboset se.
12And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Mica. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
13So Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem; for he ate continually at the king’s table. He was lame in both his feet.
13 Mefiboset binde goro Urusalima ra zama han kulu a ga ŋwa Dawda taablo boŋ. A ce hinka kulu larante yaŋ no.
13So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem; for he did eat continually at the king's table. And he was lame in both his feet.
