1I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom:
1 Ay goono ga ni lordi Irikoy da Almasihu Yesu jine, nga kaŋ ga fundikooney da buukoy ciiti, ay ga ni lordi mo a bangandiyaŋo d'a koytara boŋ:
1I charge [thee] in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:
2preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching.
2 Ni ma Sanno waazu. Da daama go no, wala nd'a si no, ni ma kookari.
2preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
3For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts;
3 Zama alwaati ga kaa kaŋ borey si hin suuru nda dondonandiyaŋ cimi-cimo, amma i ga dondonandikoyaŋ margu ngey boŋ se, ngey bine ibaay laaley boŋ, kaŋ ga ci i se haŋ kaŋ ga kaan i hangey se.
3For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;
4and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables.
4 I ga ngey hangey kaa cimi gaa ka kamba ka koy jandey gaa.
4and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables.
5But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.
5 Amma ni wo, ni ma hin ni boŋ hay kulu ra. Ma hin taabi suuru, ma Baaru Hanna waazuko goyo te, ma ni saajaw goyo toonandi.
5But be thou sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil thy ministry.
6For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.
6 Zama za sohõ ay ciya haŋyaŋ sargay kaŋ i ga soogu. Ay koyyaŋo alwaato mo to.
6For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come.
7I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.
7 Ay na wongu hanno te, ay n'ay bata toonandi, ay na cimbeero fonda gana ka haggoy d'a a ma boori.
7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith:
8From now on, there is stored up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
8 Sohõ binde adilitaray boŋtoba go jisante ay se, kaŋ Rabbi, Adilitaraykoyo kaŋ ga ciiti te, g'ay no zaaro din ra. Manti ay hinne se n'a g'a no bo, amma borey kulu kaŋ yaŋ ga ba a bangandiyaŋo mo se.

9Be diligent to come to me soon,
9 Ma waasu ka kaa ay do, ma si gay bo.
9Give diligence to come shortly unto me:
10for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
10 Zama zamana wo baakasinay sabbay se no Dimas dira k'ay naŋ ka koy Tassalonika. Karaska koy Galatiya laabu, Titos mo koy Dalmatiya laabu.
10for Demas forsook me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.
11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.
11 Luka hinne no go ay banda.
11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee; for he is useful to me for ministering.

13The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, bring when thou comest, and the books, especially the parchments.
14Alexander, the coppersmith, did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his works,
Rabbi g'a bana a goyo boŋ.
14Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord will render to him according to his works:
15of whom you also must beware; for he greatly opposed our words.
15 Ni ma haggoy d'a mo fa, zama a murte iri sanney gaa gumo.
15of whom do thou also beware; for he greatly withstood our words.
16At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.
16At my first defence no one took my part, but all forsook me: may it not be laid to their account.
17But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
17But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might me fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Darza ma bara a gaa hal abada abadin! Amin.
18The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom [be] the glory forever and ever. Amen.
19Greet Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.
19Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.
20Erastus remained at Corinth, but I left Trophimus at Miletus sick.

20Erastus remained at Corinth: but Trophimus I left at Miletus sick.

21Give diligence to come before winter. Eubulus saluteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
