1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1 Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:
1And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
2“Sanctify to me all of the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of animal. It is mine.”
2 «Alboro hay-jine kulu kaŋ ga jin ka fatta hay-tu ra, m'i fay waani ay se Israyla izey kulu do, da boroyaŋ no wala almanyaŋ no. Ay wane yaŋ no.»
2Sanctify unto me all the first-born, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
3Moses said to the people, “Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Yahweh brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.
3 Musa mo ne borey se: «Wa fongu nda zaaro wo kaŋ ra araŋ fun Misira, tamtaray windo. Zama gaabi-nda-gaabi no Rabbi n'araŋ kaa d'a noodin. I ma si buuru dalbukoy ŋwa a ra baa kayna.
3And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Jehovah brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
4This day you go out in the month Abib.
4 Hunkuna no araŋ ga fatta, handu sintina, hayni waate.
4This day ye go forth in the month Abib.
5It shall be, when Yahweh shall bring you into the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month.
5 A ga ciya mo, waati kaŋ Rabbi kande nin Kanaanancey, da Hittancey, da Amorancey, da Hibancey, da Yebusancey laabo ra, wo kaŋ Rabbi ze d'a ni kaayey se ka ne nga ga ni no laabu kaŋ ga wa nda yu bambari, saaya din no ni ga goy woone haggoy handu woone ra.
5And it shall be, when Jehovah shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
6Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to Yahweh.
6 Jirbi iyye mo no ni ga buuru kaŋ sinda dalbu ŋwa, jirbi iyyanta hane mo i ga sududuyaŋ marga te Rabbi se.
6Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to Jehovah.

7 Buuru kaŋ sinda dalbu no ni ga ŋwa. Jirbi iyya din ra i ma si buuru dalbukoy gar ni do, i ma si dalbu kulu gar ni laabo kulu ra mo.
7Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee, in all thy borders.
8You shall tell your son in that day, saying, ‘It is because of that which Yahweh did for me when I came out of Egypt.’
8 Zaaro din ra mo ni ga ci ni izey se ka ne: ‹I ga woone te zama haya kaŋ Rabbi te ay se waato kaŋ ay fun Misira ra din sabbay se.›
8And thou shalt tell thy son in that day, saying, It is because of that which Jehovah did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.
9It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of Yahweh may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Yahweh has brought you out of Egypt.

10You shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.
10 Woodin se no ni ga haggoy da farilla woone a jirbey ra jiiri ka kaa jiiri.»
10Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.
11“It shall be, when Yahweh shall bring you into the land of the Canaanite, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,
11 «A ga ciya mo, waati kaŋ Rabbi kande nin Kanaanancey laabu -- danga mate kaŋ a ze nin da ni kaayey mo se, a n'a no ni se mo --
11And it shall be, when Jehovah shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanite, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,
12that you shall set apart to Yahweh all that opens the womb, and every firstborn which you have that comes from an animal. The males shall be Yahweh’s.
12 hay kulu kaŋ jin ka fatta hay-tu ra, kala ni m'a fay waani Rabbi se. Baa hay-jine kulu kaŋ go ni se kaŋ ga fun almaney kulu ra no. Aru hay-jine kulu ga ciya Rabbi wane, baa alman wane mo.
12that thou shalt set apart unto Jehovah all that openeth the womb, and every firstling which thou hast that cometh of a beast; the males shall be Jehovah's.
13Every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck; and you shall redeem all the firstborn of man among your sons.
13 Farka binji hay-jine, ni g'a fansa no da feej'ize. Da mo ni s'a fansa, kala ni m'a jinda ceeri. Boro hay-jine kulu mo ni izey do haray, ni g'a fansa no.
13And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break its neck: and all the first-born of man among thy sons shalt thou redeem.
14It shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ that you shall tell him, ‘By strength of hand Yahweh brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage;
14 A ga ciya mo, da ni izo na ni hã han fo ka ne: ‹Ifo no ga ti woone?› kala ni ma ne a se: ‹Gaabi-nda-gaabi no Rabbi n'iri fattandi nd'a Misira ra, tamtaray windo ra.
14And it shall be, when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand Jehovah brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
15and it happened, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that Yahweh killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of animal. Therefore I sacrifice to Yahweh all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

15and it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that Jehovah slew all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both the first-born of man, and the first-born of beast: therefore I sacrifice to Jehovah all that openeth the womb, being males; but all the first-born of my sons I redeem.
16It shall be for a sign on your hand, and for symbols between your eyes: for by strength of hand Yahweh brought us out of Egypt.”
16 A ga ciya mo alaama ni kamba gaa, da tira kobto mo ni mo saafey game ra, zama gaabi-nda-gaabi no Rabbi n'iri kaa d'a Misira ra.»
16And it shall be for a sign upon thy hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand Jehovah brought us forth out of Egypt.
17It happened, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God didn’t lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and they return to Egypt”;
17 Waato kaŋ Firawna na borey taŋ mo, Irikoy mana naŋ i ma Filistancey laabo fonda gana bo, baa kaŋ fonda din ga maan no, zama Irikoy ne: «A ma si ciya hambara borey ga ture waati kaŋ i ga di wongu, kal i ma ye Misira.»
17And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
18but God led the people around by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea or, Sea of Reeds ; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.
18 Amma Irikoy naŋ borey ma windi saajo fonda gaa, Teeku Cira do haray. Israyla izey fun Misira laabu nda wongu jinay soolanteyaŋ ngey gaa.
18but God led the people about, by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea: and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.
19Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had made the children of Israel swear, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones away from here with you.”
19And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.
20They took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.
20 I na ngey dirawo sintin za Sukkot ka koy zumbu Etam saajo me gaa.
20And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.
21Yahweh went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night:
21 Rabbi go ga furo i jine zaari buru sari himandi ra, zama a ma te i se jina candiko dirawo ra. Cin mo a go buru sari himando ra, danji wane, zama a m'i no kaari, i ma dira cin da zaari.
21And Jehovah went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them the way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night:
22the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night, didn’t depart from before the people.
22 Zaari, buru sari himando; cin mo, danji sari himando mana fun borey jine.
22the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night, departed not from before the people.
