13

1The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
1 Rabbi sanno kaa ay do koyne ka ne:
1And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear the word of Yahweh:
2 Boro izo, ma annabitaray te ka gaaba nda Israyla annabey kaŋ goono ga annabitaray te. Borey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga annabitaray te ngey boŋ ibaay ganayaŋ ra, ma ci i se ka ne: Wa maa Rabbi sanno.
2Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Jehovah:
3Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
3 Rabbi, Koy Beero ne: Kaari ngey! annabi saamey kaŋ goono ga ngey boŋ biya hinne gana, i mana di hay kulu mo!
3Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
4Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
4 Ya Israyla, ni annabey te sanda saaji fimbo ra zoŋoyaŋ cine.
4O Israel, thy prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
5You have not gone up into the gaps, neither built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Yahweh.
5 Araŋ mana kaaru cinari kortimey ra, araŋ mana wongu cinaro cina mo Israyla borey gaakasinay sabbay se, hal i ma du ka kay wongu waate, ay wo, Rabbi zaaro ra.
5Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Jehovah.
6They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, Yahweh says; but Yahweh has not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
6 Tangari no i di, da tangari gunayaŋ, ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga ne: «Yaa no Rabbi ci!» Ay mana i donton mo. I naŋ borey ma laakal dake mo ka ho hala sanno ga tabbat.
6They have seen falsehood and lying divination, that say, Jehovah saith; but Jehovah hath not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
7Haven’t you seen a false vision, and haven’t you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, Yahweh says; but I have not spoken?
7 Manti bangandi yaamo no araŋ di bo? Manti mo tangari gunayaŋ no araŋ te, kaŋ araŋ ne: «Rabbi no ka ci»? baa kaŋ ay mana salaŋ.
7Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, in that ye say, Jehovah saith; albeit I have not spoken?
8Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord Yahweh.
8 Woodin sabbay se, yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Za kaŋ araŋ na sanni yaamo te, araŋ di tangari mo, a go, ay ga gaaba nd'araŋ. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
8Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
9My hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
9 Ay ga gaaba nda annabey kaŋ ga di bangandi yaamey, kaŋ goono ga gunayaŋ te da tangari. I si furo ay borey faada ra, ay si i hantum Israyla dumo lasaabu tira ra, i si furo mo Israyla laabo ra. Woodin gaa no araŋ ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi, Koy Beero.
9And my hand shall be against the prophets that see false visions, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
10Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash:
10 Sabaabo ga ti zama i n'ay borey halli. I goono ga ne: «Baani samay!» A binde, baani samay si no. Waati kaŋ boro fo na cinari te mo, a go, kal i m'a yonu nda kwaarandiyaŋ hari kaŋ i mana hanse.
10Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one buildeth up a wall, behold, they daub it with untempered [mortar]:
11tell those who plaster it with whitewash, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it.
11 Ma ne boro kaŋ goono ga yonu nda karmaari kaŋ i mana hanse yaŋ se: «Cinaro ga kaŋ, beene hari ga kaa kaŋ ga kande hari-yaa*.» Araŋ binde, ya gari bambatey, araŋ ga kaŋ. Beene hirriyaŋ haw no ga cinaro kortu.
11say unto them that daub it with untempered [mortar], that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.
12Behold, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?
12 Wiiza, waati kaŋ cinaro kaŋ, manti i ga ne araŋ se: «Man gaa karmaaro kaŋ araŋ n'a yonu nd'a?»
12Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
13Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
13 Woodin se binde, yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Ay g'a kortu day no da haw gaabikooni ay futay korna ra. Beene hirriyaŋ hari ga te kaŋ gonda hari-yaa, ay futa ra, gari bambata yaŋ mo ga te ay futay korna ra, zama i m'a halaci se.
13Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
14So will I break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in its midst: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
14 Yaadin cine no ay ga cinaro kaŋ araŋ yonu nda karmaari kaŋ i mana hanse din zeeri nd'a, y'a bagu kal a ma kaŋ ganda, k'a daba kaa taray. A ga kaŋ, araŋ mo ga halaci a ra. Yaadin cine gaa no araŋ ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
14So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered [mortar], and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
15Thus will I accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash; and I will tell you, The wall is no more, neither those who plastered it;
15 Yaadin cine no ay g'ay futa toonandi nd'a cinaro, da borey kaŋ n'a yonu nda karmaari kaŋ i mana hanse mo boŋ. Ay ga ne araŋ se mo: Cinari woone si no, nga nda borey kaŋ yaŋ n'a yonu kulu.
15Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered [mortar]; and I will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
16to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord Yahweh.
16 Annabey kaŋ goono ga annabitaray te Urusalima boŋ nooya. I goono ga di baani bangandi a se, baa kaŋ baani si no. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
16[to wit], the prophets of Israel that prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and that see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah.
17You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,
17 Ni binde, boro izo, ma ni moyduma sinji, a ma gaaba nda ni jama ize wayey, ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga annabitaray te ngey boŋ ibaay ganayaŋ ra. Ma annabitaray te ka gaaba nd'ey,
17And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, that prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,
18and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the women who sew pillows on all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?
18 ka ne: Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Kaari wayborey kaŋ ga tirayzeyaŋ te ka haw borey kulu kambe dabey gaa.
18and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the women that sew pillows upon all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of [persons of] every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?
19You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.
19 Araŋ n'ay hibandi ka kaa ay borey game ra nooya, zama araŋ kambey ma to da sayir*, da buuru patarmiyaŋ. Araŋ go ga miila araŋ ma borey kaŋ mana hima nda buuyaŋ wi, araŋ ma fundi fooyaŋ kaŋ mana hima i ma funa din faaba mo. Tangari do araŋ goono g'a te ay borey kaŋ ga tangari saal se.
19And ye have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hearken unto lies.
20Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against your pillows, with which you there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let the souls go, even the souls whom you hunt to make them fly.
20 Woodin sabbay se, yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: A go, ay ga gaaba nd'araŋ tirayzey, kaŋ araŋ goono ga te zama araŋ m'ay borey hirri danga curayzeyaŋ cine. Ay g'i hamay mo koyne ka kaa araŋ kambey ra. Ay ma fundey taŋ, fundey kaŋ araŋ goono ga hirri danga curayzeyaŋ cine.
20Wherefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make [them] fly, and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make [them] fly.
21Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
21 Araŋ bangumey mo, ay g'i yabu ka kaa, y'ay borey faaba araŋ kambe ra. I si ye ka ciya hirriyaŋ hari araŋ kambe ra koyne. Woodin gaa no araŋ ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
21Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
22Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive:
22 Araŋ na adilantey biney sara nda tangari, borey kaŋ yaŋ ay wo mana i biney sara. Araŋ na boro laalo kambe gaabandi, hal a si bare ka fay da nga laalayaŋo, a ma nga fundo faaba mo.
22Because with lies ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive:
23Therefore you shall no more see false visions, nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
23 Woodin sabbay se no araŋ wo, wayborey, araŋ si ye ka di tangari bangandi koyne. Araŋ si ye ka gunayaŋ te koyne. Ay g'ay borey faaba araŋ kambey ra. Woodin gaa no araŋ ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
23Therefore ye shall no more see false visions, nor divine divinations: and I will deliver my people out of your hand; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
