Ezekiel

26

1It happened in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
1 I go no yaadin, jiiri way cindi fa ra, hando zaari sintina hane, kala Rabbi sanno kaa ay do ka ne:
1And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first [day] of the month, that the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken: the gate of the peoples; she is turned to me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste:
2 Boro izo, za kaŋ Tir na Urusalima sanni te ka ne: «Ahãa! Nga kaŋ ci ndunnya dumey se furoyaŋ meyo, sohõ a ceeri, a feeri ay se. Sohõ ay no ga tonton, za kaŋ a ciya kurmu.»
2Son of man, because that Tyre hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken [that was] the gate of the peoples; she is turned unto me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste:
3therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, Behold, I am against you, Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up.
3 Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: A go, ya nin Tir, ay ga gaaba nda nin. Ay ga naŋ mo ndunnya dumi boobo ma tun ni gaa da wongu, sanda mate kaŋ cine teeko ga nga bondayey tunandi.
3therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I am against thee, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth its waves to come up.
4They shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her a bare rock.
4 Tir birni cinarey ga halaci, i m'a birni cinari kuukey zeeri mo. Ay mo g'a bagarmey koosu ka kaa a se, k'a ciya tondi koonu.
4And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her a bare rock.
5She shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh; and she shall become a spoil to the nations.
5 A ga ciya hari ham taarey daaruyaŋ do teeko bindi ra, zama ay no ka salaŋ. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci. A ga ciya wongu arzaka mo ndunnya dumey se.
5She shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah; and she shall become a spoil to the nations.
6Her daughters who are in the field shall be slain with the sword: and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
6 A kawyey kaŋ go teeko me gaa mo, wongu g'i wi da takuba. I ga bay mo kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
6And her daughters that are in the field shall be slain with the sword: and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
7For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will bring on Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and a company, and many people.
7 Zama yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: A go, ay ga Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar candi ka kande Tir gaa, koyey bonkoono kaŋ go azawa kambe no. A ga kande bariyaŋ da torkoyaŋ, da bari-kariyaŋ, da wongu kunda boroyaŋ, jama boobo.
7For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will bring upon Tyre Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and a company, and much people.
8He shall kill your daughters in the field with the sword; and he shall make forts against you, and cast up a mound against you, and raise up the buckler against you.
8He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field; and he shall make forts against thee, and cast up a mound against thee, and raise up the buckler against thee.
9He shall set his battering engines against your walls, and with his axes he shall break down your towers.
9And he shall set his battering engines against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers.
10By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover you: your walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wagons, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into your gates, as men enter into a city in which is made a breach.
I ga kaa sanda mate kaŋ cine i ga furo gallu ra kaŋ i na kortuyaŋ te birni cinaro ra.
10By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wagons, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.
11With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all your streets; he shall kill your people with the sword; and the pillars of your strength shall go down to the ground.
11 A bariyey ce camsey no a ga ni fondey kulu taamu-taamu nd'a, a ga ni borey wi da takuba. Ni seeda tondi gaabikooney mo, a g'i zeeri kala ganda.
11With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets; he shall slay thy people with the sword; and the pillars of thy strength shall go down to the ground.
12They shall make a spoil of your riches, and make a prey of your merchandise; and they shall break down your walls, and destroy your pleasant houses; and they shall lay your stones and your timber and your dust in the midst of the waters.
12 A ga ni arzaka ku wongu ra. Ni day da neera jinayey mo, a m'i ciya wongu arzaka. A ga ni birni cinaro zeeri, a ma ni windey kaŋ goray ga kaan halaci.
12And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise; and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses; and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the waters.
13I will cause the noise of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harps shall be no more heard.
13And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.
14I will make you a bare rock; you shall be a place for the spreading of nets; you shall be built no more: for I Yahweh have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh.
14 Tondi koonu no ay ga ni bare ka ciya, taaru yandiyaŋ nangu no ni ga ciya. Boro kulu si ye ka ni cina koyne, zama ay, Rabbi no k'a salaŋ. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
14And I will make thee a bare rock; thou shalt be a place for the spreading of nets; thou shalt be built no more: for I Jehovah have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15Thus says the Lord Yahweh to Tyre: shall not the islands shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan, when the slaughter is made in the midst of you?
15 Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero goono ga ci Tir se: I ga maa ni kaŋyaŋo yooja, da borey kaŋ yaŋ maray durayyaŋey, waati kaŋ i ga wiyaŋo te ni ra. Manti teeku me gaa gorokoy ga jijiri humburkumay se, bo?
15Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to Tyre: shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded groan, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?
16Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay aside their robes, and strip off their embroidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit on the ground, and shall tremble every moment, and be astonished at you.
16 Teeku mayraykoyey kulu ga zumbu ka fun ngey koytaray kargey boŋ, i ma ngey koytaray kwaayey kaa, i ma ngey taalam bankaarayey foobu ka kaa ngey gaa, i ma ngey boŋ daabu nda jijiriyaŋ. I ma goro ganda laabo ra ka soobay ka gasi saaya kulu, boŋ-haway m'i di haya kaŋ du nin din sabbay se.
16Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay aside their robes, and strip off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble every moment, and be astonished at thee.
17They shall take up a lamentation over you, and tell you, How you are destroyed, who were inhabited by seafaring men, the renowned city, who was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all who lived there!
17 I ga soobay ka bu baray te ni se, i ma ne ni se: «Mate no ni halaci nd'a ya-cine, Nin teeku beerey nangora, Gallu bambata, kaŋ gonda gaabi teeko do haray, Nin da ni ra gorokoy, Araŋ naŋ teeku me gaa gorokoy ma humburu!
17And they shall take up a lamentation over thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited by seafaring men, the renowned city, that was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, that caused their terror to be on all that dwelt there!
18Now shall the islands tremble in the day of your fall; yes, the islands that are in the sea shall be dismayed at your departure.
18 Sohõ gungey ga jijiri ni kaŋyaŋo hane. Oho, hala nda gungey kaŋ go teeko ra, I biney ga pati ni banyaŋo se!»
18Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be dismayed at thy departure.
19For thus says the Lord Yahweh: When I shall make you a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep on you, and the great waters shall cover you;
19For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and the great waters shall cover thee;
20then will I bring you down with those who descend into the pit, to the people of old time, and will make you to dwell in the lower parts of the earth, in the places that are desolate of old, with those who go down to the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I will set glory in the land of the living:
20 waati din gaa no ay ga ni zeeri wo kaŋ ga zulli ka koy Alaahara yaŋ banda, doŋ borey do nooya. Ya naŋ ni ma goro noodin laabo ra, kurmu kooney do yaŋ, za doŋ borey banda, ngey kaŋ yaŋ zulli ka koy guuso ra, zama i ma si goro ni ra koyne. I si ye ka tonton ka ni no nangu koyne fundikooney laabo ra.
20then will I bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, to the people of old time, and will make thee to dwell in the nether parts of the earth, in the places that are desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I will set glory in the land of the living:
21I will make you a terror, and you shall no more have any being; though you are sought for, yet you will never be found again, says the Lord Yahweh.
21 Ni kokora ga ciya haŋ kaŋ ga humburandi. Ye-ka-goono-yaŋ si cindi ni se. Borey ga ni ceeci, amma i si ye ka di ni koyne. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
21I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt no more have any being; though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord Jehovah.
