1Yahweh, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.
1 Ya Rabbi, nin no ga ti ay Irikoyo. Ay ga ni beerandi, ay ga ni maa saabu, Zama ni na dambara hariyaŋ te, Za doŋ saaware-saawarey nooya naanay toonante ra.
1O Jehovah, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, [even] counsels of old, in faithfulness [and] truth.
2For you have made a city into a heap, a fortified city into a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city. It will never be built.
2 Zama ni na gallu bare ka ciya laabu gusam. Ni na gallu kaŋ gonda birni bambata ciya kurmu, A ciya yawey faada, manti gallu no koyne, A si cina mo koyne hal abada.
2For thou hast made of a city a heap, of a fortified city a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
3Therefore a strong people will glorify you. A city of awesome nations will fear you.
3 Woodin sabbay se no dumi gaabikooni ga ni beerandi. Ndunnya dumey kaŋ sinda bakaraw gallo ga humburu nin.
3Therefore shall a strong people glorify thee; a city of terrible nations shall fear thee.
4For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the dreaded ones is like a storm against the wall.
4 Zama ni ciya tuguyaŋ do talkey se, Tuguyaŋ do alfukaaru se a kankamo ra. Koruyaŋ do beene hari beeri se, Bi kaŋ ga boro wa korni mo. Zama borey kaŋ yaŋ sinda bakaraw funsuyaŋ korna ga hima beene hari kaŋ ga cinari kar,
4For thou hast been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
5As the heat in a dry place will you bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the dreaded ones will be brought low.
5 Da sanda nangu kogo ra korni. Ni ga mebarawey kosongo zabu, Mate kaŋ cine buru yuumay ga korni zabu. Yaadin cine no ni ga borey kaŋ sinda bakaraw yaŋ din doono dangandi nd'a.
5As the heat in a dry place wilt thou bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
6In this mountain, Yahweh of Armies will make all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of choice wines, of fat things full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.
6 Tondi kuuku woone boŋ no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ga batu te, }waari batu, ŋwaari kaŋ gonda ji da londi, da duvan jisanta kaŋ i hanse hal a boori, batu wane.
6And in this mountain will Jehovah of hosts make unto all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
7He will destroy in this mountain the surface of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
7 Daabiro kaŋ go ga jama kulu daabu, Rabbi g'a halaci tondi kuuku woone boŋ, Kaŋ ga ti bangumo kaŋ daaru ndunnya dumey kulu boŋ.
7And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering that covereth all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
8He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord Yahweh will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for Yahweh has spoken it.
8 A ga buuyaŋ gon hal abada. Rabbi, Koy Beero ga mundi tuusu moydumey kulu gaa. A ga wowi hibandi ka kaa nga jama gaa mo ndunnya kulu ra, Zama Rabbi no ka woodin ci.
8He hath swallowed up death for ever; and the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of his people will he take away from off all the earth: for Jehovah hath spoken it.
9It shall be said in that day, “Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is Yahweh! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”
9 Han din hane binde boro ga ne: «Guna, woone wo iri Irikoyo no. Iri n'a batu, a g'iri faaba mo. Woone wo Rabbi no kaŋ iri batu. Iri ma farhã ka bine kaani te a faaba ra.»
9And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Jehovah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
10For in this mountain the hand of Yahweh will rest. Moab will be trodden down in his place, even like straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.
10 Zama tondi kuuku woone boŋ no Rabbi ga nga kamba dake. A ga Mowab taamu-taamu nga cey cire mo, Sanda mate kaŋ cine i ga subu nda birji taamu-taamu care ra.
10For in this mountain will the hand of Jehovah rest; and Moab shall be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the water of the dung-hill.
11He will spread out his hands in its midst, like one who swims spreads out hands to swim, but his pride will be humbled together with the craft of his hands.
11 Mowab ga nga kambey salle a bindo ra, Sanda mate kaŋ cine ziiko ga nga kambey salle ka zi. Rabbi g'a boŋbeera zeeri, Baa kaŋ a kambe gonda gonitaray.
11And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst thereof, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth [his hands] to swim; but [Jehovah] will lay low his pride together with the craft of his hands.
12He has brought the high fortress of your walls down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.
12 Ni wongu fu cinari gaabikooney mo, Rabbi g'i zeeri, A m'i kanandi, a m'i ye ganda kala laabo ra.
12And the high fortress of thy walls hath he brought down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.
