¹Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

¹ Rabbi salaŋ Musa nda Haruna se koyne, ka ne:

¹And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

²“This is the statute of the law which Yahweh has commanded: Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no blemish, and which was never yoked.

² «Woone ga ti asariya farilla sanni kaŋ Rabbi lordi ka ne: Araŋ ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne i ma kande zan ciray fo araŋ do, kaŋ sinda marga-marga kulu, kaŋ sinda dollo mo. A ma ciya zan kaŋ i mana daŋ goy kulu ra.

²This is the statute of the law which Jehovah hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, [and] upon which never came yoke.

³You shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her forth outside of the camp, and one shall kill her before his face:

³ Araŋ g'a daŋ Alfa Eliyezar kambe ra. A ma kond'a gata banda. Boro fo m'a jinde kaa Eliyezar jine.

³And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:

⁴and Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle her blood toward the front of the Tent of Meeting seven times.

⁴and Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle her blood toward the front of the tent of meeting seven times.

⁵One shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:

⁵And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:

⁶and the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

⁶and the priest shall take cedar-wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

⁷Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.

⁷ Waato din gaa, alfaga ma nga bankaarayey nyuna, a ma nga gaahamo kulu nyumay da hari. Woodin banda no a ga du ka furo gata ra, amma a ga harram kala wiciri kambu.

⁷Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.

⁸He who burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.

⁸ Bora kaŋ na zano ton mo ma nga bankaarayey nyuna, nga bumbo mo ma nyumay. Nga mo ga harram kala wiciri kambu.

⁸And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.

⁹“A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside of the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water for impurity: it is a sin offering.

⁹ Boro fo kaŋ ga hanan ma zano booso ku, a m'a jisi gata banda nangu fo kaŋ ga hanan. I g'a jisi Israyla izey jama sabbay se, a ga ciya hari kaŋ ga harram kaa. Zunubi tuusuyaŋ sargay fo nooya.

⁹And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water for impurity: it is a sin-offering.

¹⁰He who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening: and it shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them, for a statute forever.

¹⁰ Bora kaŋ na booso ku din mo ma nga bankaarayey nyuna. A ga harram kala wiciri kambu. Woone wo ga ciya araŋ se farilla kaŋ ga duumi kaŋ araŋ ga gana Israyla izey se, hala nda yawey kaŋ yaŋ go i ra ga goro se.

¹⁰And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.

¹¹“He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days:

¹¹He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days:

¹²the same shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he doesn’t purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

¹²the same shall purify himself therewith on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

¹³Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of Yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet on him.

¹³Whosoever toucheth a dead person, the body of a man that hath died, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

¹⁴“This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁴ Da boro fo bu kuuru-fu ra mo a fonda neeya: Boro kulu kaŋ go kuuru-fuwo din ra, da boro kulu kaŋ furo a ra ga harram kala jirbi iyye.

¹⁴This is the law when a man dieth in a tent: every one that cometh into the tent, and every one that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁵Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.

¹⁵ Jinay kulu kaŋ go me-hayante, kaŋ i mana daabirjo haw a gaa, nga mo ga harram.

¹⁵And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.

¹⁶“Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁶ Saajo ra sanni mo neeya: boro kulu kaŋ ga lamba boro kaŋ i wi da takuba gaa, da boro kaŋ lamba buuko fo gaa, wala boro biri fo gaa, wala saaray gaa, bora din ga harram kala jirbi iyye.

¹⁶And whosoever in the open field toucheth one that is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁷“For the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

¹⁷And for the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin-offering; and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

¹⁸and a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, and on all the vessels, and on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave:

¹⁸and a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave:

¹⁹and the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify him; and he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.

¹⁹ Bora kaŋ ga hanan din ga haro say bora kaŋ harram din gaa jirbi hinzanta da jirbi iyyanta hane. Jirbi iyyanta hano mo, bora ma nga boŋ hanandi, a ma nga bankaarayey nyuna, nga bumbo mo ga nyumay. Wiciri kambo ra a ga hanan.

¹⁹and the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify him; and he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.

²⁰But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh: the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him; he is unclean.

²⁰ Amma bora kaŋ ga harram, a mana nga boŋ hanandi mo, i g'a waasu ka kaa jama game ra, za kaŋ a na Rabbi nangoray hanna ziibandi. I mana haro kaŋ ga harram kaa din say a gaa. A se no a ga goro da nga ziibo.

²⁰But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah: the water for impurity hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

²¹It shall be a perpetual statute to them: and he who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.

²¹And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them: and he that sprinkleth the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he that toucheth the water for impurity shall be unclean until even.

²²“Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.”
