1They brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

2When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.
2தாவீது சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் சமாதானபலிகளையும் செலுத்தித் தீர்ந்தபின்பு, அவன் ஜனத்தைக் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்திலே ஆசீர்வதித்து,
3He dealt to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.
3புருஷர் தொடங்கி ஸ்திரீகள்மட்டும், இஸ்ரவேலராகிய அனைவருக்கும் அவரவருக்கு ஒவ்வொரு அப்பத்தையும், ஒவ்வொரு இறைச்சித் துண்டையும், ஒவ்வொருபடி திராட்சரசத்தையும் பங்கிட்டுக் கொடுத்தான்.
4He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:
4இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பிரஸ்தாபம்பண்ணித் துதித்துப் புகழுகிறதற்கு கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாகச் சேவிக்கத்தக்க லேவியரில் சிலரை நியமித்தான்.
5Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
5அவர்களில் ஆசாப் தலைவனும், சகரியா அவனுக்கு இரண்டாவதுமாயிருந்தான்; ஏயெல், செமிரமோத், யெகியேல், மத்தித்தியா, எலியாப், பெனாயா, ஓபேத்ஏதோம், ஏயெல் என்பவர்கள் தம்புரு சுரமண்டலம் என்னும் கீதவாத்தியங்களை வாசிக்கவும், ஆசாப் கைத்தாளங்களைக் கொட்டவும்,
6and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
6பெனாயா, யாகாசியேல் என்னும் ஆசாரியர் எப்போதும் தேவனுடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாகப் பூரிகைகளை ஊதவும் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்.
7Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to Yahweh, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.
7அப்படி ஆரம்பித்த அந்நாளிலேதானே கர்த்தருக்குத் துதியாகப் பாடும்படி தாவீது ஆசாப்பிடத்திலும் அவன் சகோதரரிடத்திலும் கொடுத்த சங்கீதமாவது:
8Oh give thanks to Yahweh. Call on his name. Make his doings known among the peoples.
8கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து, அவருடைய நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபமாக்குங்கள்; அவருடைய செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்.
9Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.
9அவரைப் பாடி, அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவருடைய அதியசங்களையெல்லாம் தியானித்துப் பேசுங்கள்.
10Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
10அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைக்குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டுங்கள்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களின் இருதயம் மகிழ்வதாக.
11Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
11கர்த்தரையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நாடுங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தை நித்தமும் தேடுங்கள்.
12Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
12அவருடைய தாசனாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின் சந்ததியே! அவரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகிய யாக்கோபின் புத்திரரே!
13you seed of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
13அவர் செய்த அதிசயங்களையும் அவருடைய அற்புதங்களையும் அவர் வாக்கின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும் நினைவுகூறுங்கள்.
14He is Yahweh our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
14அவரே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்; அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியெங்கும் விளங்கும்.
15Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
15ஆயிரந்தலைமுறைக்கென்று அவர் கட்டளையிட்ட வாக்கையும், ஆபிரகாமோடே அவர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும்,
16the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.
16அவர் ஈசாக்குக்கு இட்ட ஆணையையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் நினைத்திருங்கள்.
17He confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
17அதை யாக்கோபுக்குப் பிரமாணமாகவும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாகவும் உறுதிப்படுத்தி:
18saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,”
18உங்கள் சுதந்தரபாகமாக கானான் தேசத்தை உனக்குத் தருவேன் என்றார்.
19when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners were in it.
19அக்காலத்தில் அவர்கள் கொஞ்சத்தொகைக்குட்பட்ட சொற்பஜனங்களும் பரதேசிகளுமாயிருந்தார்கள்.
20They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
20அவர்கள் ஒரு ஜனத்தை விட்டு மறு ஜனத்தண்டைக்கும், ஒரு ராஜ்யத்தை விட்டு மறு தேசத்தாரண்டைக்கும் போனார்கள்.
21He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
21அவர்களையொடுக்கும்படி ஒருவருக்கும் இடங்கொடாமல், அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் ராஜாக்களைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு:
22“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
22நான் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினவர்களை நீங்கள் தொடாமலும், என்னுடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்குத் தீங்குசெய்யாமலும் இருங்கள் என்றார்.
23Sing to Yahweh, all the earth! Display his salvation from day to day.
23பூமியின் சகல குடிகளே, கர்த்தரைப் பாடி, நாளுக்குநாள் அவருடைய ரட்சிப்பைச் சுவிசேஷமாய் அறிவியுங்கள்.
24Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.
24ஜாதிகளுக்குள் அவருடைய மகிமையையும், சகல ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளும் அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையும் விவரித்துச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
25For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.
25கர்த்தர் பெரியவரும் மிகவும் துதிக்கப்படத்தக்கவருமாயிருக்கிறார்; எல்லா தேவர்களிலும் பயப்படத்தக்கவர் அவரே.
26For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.
26சகல ஜனங்களுடைய தேவர்களும் விக்கிரகங்கள்தானே; கர்த்தரோ வானங்களை உண்டாக்கினவர்.
27Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.
27மகிமையும் கனமும் அவர் சமுகத்தில் இருக்கிறது; வல்லமையும் மகிழ்ச்சியும் அவர் ஸ்தலத்தில் இருக்கிறது.
28Ascribe to Yahweh, you relatives of the peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!
28ஜனங்களின் வம்சங்களே, கர்த்தருக்கு மகிமையையும் வல்லமையையும் செலுத்துங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்கே அதைச் செலுத்துங்கள்.
29Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship Yahweh in holy array.
29கர்த்தருக்கு அவருடைய நாமத்திற்குரிய மகிமையைச் செலுத்தி, காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவந்து, அவருடைய சந்நிதியில் பிரவேசியுங்கள்; பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்.
30Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can’t be moved.
30பூலோகத்தாரே, நீங்கள் யாவரும் அவருக்கு முன்பாக நடுங்குங்கள்; அவர் பூச்சக்கரத்தை அசையாதபடிக்கு உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறவர்.
31Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice! Let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns!”
31வானங்கள் மகிழ்ந்து, பூமி பூரிப்பதாக; கர்த்தர் ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுகிறார் என்று ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சொல்லப்படுவதாக.
32Let the sea roar, and its fullness! Let the field exult, and all that is therein!
32சமுத்திரமும் அதின் நிறைவும் முழங்கி, நாடும் அதிலுள்ள யாவும் களிகூருவதாக.
33Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth.
33அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகக் காட்டுவிருட்சங்களும் கெம்பீரிக்கும்; அவர் பூமியை நியாயந்தீர்க்க வருகிறார்.
34Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
34கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.
35Say, “Save us, God of our salvation! Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.”
35எங்கள் ரட்சிப்பின் தேவனே, நாங்கள் உமது பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைப் போற்றி, உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறதினால் மேன்மைபாராட்டும்படிக்கு, எங்களை இரட்சித்து, எங்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, ஜாதிகளுக்கு எங்களை நீங்கலாக்கியருளும் என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
36Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen,” and praised Yahweh.
36இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு சதாகாலங்களிலும் ஸ்தோத்திரம் உண்டாவதாக; அதற்கு ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லிக் கர்த்தரைத் துதித்தார்கள்.
37So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;
37பின்பு பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாக நித்தம் அன்றாடக முறையாய்ச் சேவிக்கும்படி, அவன் அங்கே கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாக ஆசாப்பையும், அவன் சகோதரரையும், ஓபேத்ஏதோமையும், அவர்களுடைய சகோதரராகிய அறுபத்தெட்டுப்பேரையும் வைத்து,
38and Obed-Edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
38எதித்தூனின் குமாரனாகிய இந்த ஓபேத்ஏதோமையும் ஓசாவையும் வாசல்காக்கிறவர்களாக வைத்தான்.
39and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the tabernacle of Yahweh in the high place that was at Gibeon,
39கிபியோனிலுள்ள மேட்டின்மேலிருக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய வாசஸ்தலத்திற்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிற சர்வாங்கதகன பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் சர்வாங்கதகனங்களை நித்தமும், அந்திசந்தியில், கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குக் கற்பித்த நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்துவதற்காக,
40to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded to Israel;
40அங்கே அவன் ஆசாரியனாகிய சாதோக்கையும், அவன் சகோதரராகிய ஆசாரியரையும் வைத்து,
41and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever;
41இவர்களோடுங்கூட ஏமானையும், எதித்தூனையும், பேர்பேராகக் குறித்துத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட மற்றச் சிலரையும்: கர்த்தருடைய கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது என்று அவரைத் துதிக்கவும்,
42and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
42பூரிகைகளையும் கைத்தாளங்களையும் தேவனைப் பாடுகிறதற்குரிய கீதவாத்தியங்களையும் தொனிக்கச்செய்யவும் அவர்களுடன் ஏமானையும் எதித்தூனையும் வைத்து, எதித்தூனின் குமாரரை வாசல் காக்கிறவர்களாகக் கட்டளையிட்டான்.
43All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
43பின்பு ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் அவரவர் தங்கள் வீட்டிற்குப் போனார்கள்; தாவீதும் தன் வீட்டாரை ஆசீர்வதிக்கத்திரும்பினான்.
