¹Come near, you nations, to hear! Listen, you peoples. Let the earth and all it contains hear; the world, and everything that comes from it.

¹ஜாதிகளே, கேட்கிறதற்குக் கிட்டிவாருங்கள்; ஜனங்களே, கவனியுங்கள்; பூமியும் அதின் நிறைவும், பூச்சக்கரமும் அதில் உற்பத்தியான யாவும் கேட்கக்கடவது.

²For Yahweh is enraged against all the nations, and angry with all their armies. He has utterly destroyed them. He has given them over for slaughter.

²சகல ஜாதிகளின்மேலும் கர்த்தருடைய கடுங்கோபமும், அவைகளுடைய சகல சேனைகளின்மேலும் அவருடைய உக்கிரமும் மூளுகிறது; அவர்களைச் சங்காரத்துக்கு நியமித்து, கொலைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறார்.

³Their slain will also be cast out, and the stench of their dead bodies will come up; and the mountains will melt in their blood.

⁷The wild oxen will come down with them, and the young bulls with the mighty bulls; and their land will be drunken with blood, and their dust made greasy with fat.

⁷அவைகளோடே காண்டாமிருகங்களும், ரிஷபங்களோடே காளைகளும் வந்து மடியும்; அவர்கள் தேசம் இரத்தவெறிகொண்டு, அவர்கள் மண் நிணத்தினால் கொழுத்துப்போகும்.

⁸For Yahweh has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion.

⁹Its streams will be turned into pitch, its dust into sulfur, And its land will become burning pitch.

¹⁰It won’t be quenched night nor day. Its smoke will go up forever. From generation to generation, it will lie waste. No one will pass through it forever and ever.

¹²They shall call its nobles to the kingdom, but none shall be there; and all its princes shall be nothing.

¹⁵அங்கே வல்லூறும் கூடுகட்டி, முட்டையிட்டு, குஞ்சுபொரித்து, அவைகளைத் தன் நிழலிலே கூட்டிக்கொள்ளும்; அங்கே கூளிகளும் ஜோடுஜோடாகச் சேரும்.

¹⁶Search in the book of Yahweh, and read: not one of these will be missing. none will lack her mate. For my mouth has commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them.
