1Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
1அப்பொழுது சூகியனான பில்தாத் பிரதியுத்தரமாக:
2“How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
2நீங்கள் எந்தமட்டும் பேச்சுகளை முடிக்காதிருப்பீர்கள்? புத்திமான்களாயிருங்கள்; நாங்களும் பேசட்டும்.
3Why are we counted as animals, which have become unclean in your sight?
3நாங்கள் மிருகங்களைப்போல எண்ணப்பட்டு, உங்கள் பார்வைக்குத் தீழ்ப்பானவர்களாயிருப்பானேன்?
4You who tear yourself in your anger, shall the earth be forsaken for you? Or shall the rock be removed out of its place?
4கோபத்தினால் உம்மைத்தானே பீறுகிற உமதுநிமித்தம் பூமி பாழாய்ப்போகுமோ? கன்மலை தன்னிடத்தைவிட்டுப் பேருமோ?
5“Yes, the light of the wicked shall be put out, The spark of his fire shall not shine.
5துன்மார்க்கனுடைய விளக்கு அணைந்துபோகும்; அவன் அடுப்பின் நெருப்பும் அவிந்துபோகும்.
6The light shall be dark in his tent. His lamp above him shall be put out.
6அவன் கூடாரத்தில் வெளிச்சம் அந்தகாரப்படும்; அவன் விளக்கு அவனுடனே அணைந்துபோகும்.
7The steps of his strength shall be shortened. His own counsel shall cast him down.
7அவன் பெலனாய் நடந்த நடைகள் குறைந்துபோகும் அவன் ஆலோசனை அவனை விழப்பண்ணும்.
8For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.
8அவன் தன் கால்களினால் வலையில் அகப்பட்டு, வலைச்சிக்கலிலே நடக்கிறான்.
9A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.
9கண்ணி அவன் குதிகாலைப் பிடிக்கும்; பறிகாரர் அவனை மேற்கொள்வார்கள்.
10A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him in the way.
10அவனுக்காகச் சுருக்கு தரையிலும், அவனுக்காகக் கண்ணி வழியிலும் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
11Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall chase him at his heels.
11சுற்றிலுமிருந்துண்டாகும் பயங்கரங்கள் அவனைத் திடுக்கிடப்பண்ணி, அவன் கால்களைத் திசைதெரியாமல் அலையப்பண்ணும்.
12His strength shall be famished. Calamity shall be ready at his side.
12அவன் பெலனைப் பட்டினி தின்றுபோடும்; அவன் பக்கத்தில் கேடு ஆயத்தப்பட்டு நிற்கும்.
13The members of his body shall be devoured. The firstborn of death shall devour his members.
13அது அவன் அங்கத்தின் பலத்தைப் பட்சிக்கும்; பயங்கரமான மரணமே அவன் அவயவங்களைப் பட்சிக்கும்.
14He shall be rooted out of his tent where he trusts. He shall be brought to the king of terrors.
14அவன் நம்பிக்கை அவன் கூடாரத்திலிருந்து வேரோடே பிடுங்கப்படும்; அது அவனைப் பயங்கர ராஜாவினிடத்தில் துரத்தும்.
15There shall dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur shall be scattered on his habitation.
15அவனுக்கு ஒன்றுமில்லாமற் போனதினால், பயங்கரம் அவன் கூடாரத்தில் குடியிருக்கும்; கந்தகம் அவன் வாசஸ்தலத்தின்மேல் தெளிக்கப்படும்.
16His roots shall be dried up beneath. Above shall his branch be cut off.
16கீழே இருக்கிற அவன் வேர்கள் அழிந்துபோகும்; மேலே இருக்கிற அவன் கிளைகள் பட்டுப்போகும்.
17His memory shall perish from the earth. He shall have no name in the street.
17அவனை நினைக்கும் நினைப்புப் பூமியிலிருந்தழியும், வீதிகளில் அவன் பேரில்லாமற்போகும்.
18He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
18அவன் வெளிச்சத்திலிருந்து இருளில் துரத்திவிடப்பட்டு, பூலோகத்திலிருந்து தள்ளுண்டுபோவான்.
19He shall have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived.
19அவன் ஜனத்துக்குள்ளே அவனுக்குப் புத்திரனும் இல்லை பெளத்திரனும் இல்லை; அவன் வீட்டில் மீதியாயிருக்கத்தக்கவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை.
20Those who come after shall be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened.
20அவன் காலத்தோர் அவன் நாளுக்காகத் திடுக்கிட்டதுபோல, பின்னடியாரும் பிரமிப்பார்கள்.
21Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous. This is the place of him who doesn’t know God.”
21அக்கிரமக்காரன் குடியிருந்த ஸ்தானங்கள் இவைகள்தான்; தேவனை அறியாமற்போனவனுடைய ஸ்தலம் இதுவே என்பார்கள் என்றான்.
