¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

²“Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

²குத்துவிளக்கு எப்பொழுதும் எரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கும்படி அதற்காக இடித்துப்பிழிந்த தெளிவான ஒலிவ எண்ணெயை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் உன்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடு.

³Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh continually: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

³ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் சாட்சிசந்நிதியின் திரைக்கு வெளிப்புறமாக ஆரோன் அதை எப்பொழுதும் சாயங்காலம் தொடங்கி விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் எரியும்படி ஏற்றக்கடவன்; இது உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்தியகட்டளை.

⁴He shall keep in order the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before Yahweh continually.

⁴அவன் எப்பொழுதும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்தமான குத்துவிளக்கின்மேல் இருக்கிற விளக்குகளை எரியவைக்கக்கடவன்.

⁵“You shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenth parts of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel shall be in one cake.

⁵அன்றியும் நீ மெல்லிய மாவை எடுத்து, அதைப் பன்னிரண்டு அப்பங்களாகச் சுடுவாயாக; ஒவ்வொரு அப்பம் மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டுபங்கு மாவினால் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

⁶You shall set them in two rows, six on a row, on the pure gold table before Yahweh.

⁶அவைகளை நீ கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்தமான மேஜையின்மேல் இரண்டு அடுக்காக, ஒவ்வொரு அடுக்கில் அவ்வாறு அப்பம் இருக்கும்படியாக வைத்து,

⁷You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

⁷ஒவ்வொரு அடுக்கினிடத்தில் சுத்தமான தூபவர்க்கம் போடக்கடவாய்; அது அப்பத்தோடிருந்து, ஞாபகக்குறியாகக் கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற தகனபலியாயிருக்கும்.

⁸Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before Yahweh continually. It is on the behalf of the children of Israel an everlasting covenant.

⁸அப்பத்தை நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாக இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கையிலே வாங்கி, ஓய்வுநாள்தோறும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அடுக்கிவைக்கக்கடவன்.

⁹It shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy to him of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire by a perpetual statute.”

⁹அது ஆரோனையும் அவன் குமாரரையும் சேரும்; அதைப் பரிசுத்த இடத்திலே புசிக்கக்கடவர்கள்; நித்தியகட்டளையாக கர்த்தருக்கு இடப்படும் தகனபலிகளில் அது அவனுக்கு மகா பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும் என்றார்.

¹⁰The son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp.

¹⁰அக்காலத்திலே இஸ்ரவேல் ஜாதியான ஸ்திரீக்கும் எகிப்திய புருஷனுக்கும் பிறந்த புத்திரனாகிய ஒருவன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடேகூடப் புறப்பட்டு வந்திருந்தான்; இவனும் இஸ்ரவேலனாகிய ஒரு மனிதனும் பாளயத்திலே சண்டைபண்ணினார்கள்.

¹¹The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹¹அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் ஜாதியான அந்த ஸ்திரீயின் மகன் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தை நிந்தித்துத் தூஷித்தான். அவனை மோசேயினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். அவன் தாயின் பேர் செலோமித்; அவள் தாண் கோத்திரத்தானாகிய திப்ரியின் குமாரத்தி.

¹²They put him in custody, until the will of Yahweh should be declared to them.

¹²கர்த்தரின் வாக்கினாலே தங்களுக்கு உத்தரவு வருமட்டும், அவனைக் காவல்படுத்தினார்கள்.

¹³Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹³அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

¹⁴“Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁴தூஷித்தவனைப் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோ; கேட்டவர்கள் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் கைகளை அவன் தலையின்மேல் வைப்பார்களாக; பின்பு சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறியக்கடவர்கள்.

¹⁵You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁵மேலும் நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: எவனாகிலும் தன் தேவனைத் தூஷித்தால், அவன் தன் பாவத்தைச் சுமப்பான்.

¹⁶He who blasphemes the name of Yahweh, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: the foreigner as well as the native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

¹⁶கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை நிந்திக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்; சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறியவேண்டும்; பரதேசியானாலும் சுதேசியானாலும் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தைத் தூஷிக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

¹⁷“‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

¹⁷ஒரு மனிதனைக் கொல்லுகிறவன் எவனோ அவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

¹⁸He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁸மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றவன் மிருகத்துக்கு மிருகம் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

¹⁹If anyone injures his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him:

¹⁹ஒருவன் பிறனை ஊனப்படுத்தினால், அவன் செய்தபடியே அவனுக்கும் செய்யப்படக்கடவது.

²⁰fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has injured someone, so shall it be done to him.

²⁰நொறுக்குதலுக்கு நொறுக்குதல், கண்ணுக்குக் கண், பல்லுக்குப் பல்; அவன் ஒரு மனிதனை ஊனப்படுத்தினது போல அவனும் ஊனப்படுத்தப்படவேண்டும்.

²¹He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.

²¹மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றவன் பதில் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; மனிதனைக் கொன்றவனோ கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்.

²²You shall have one kind of law, for the foreigner as well as the native-born: for I am Yahweh your God.’”

²²உங்களில் பரதேசிக்கும் சுதேசிக்கும் ஒரே நியாயம் இருக்கவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

²³Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought out him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²³அப்படியே, தூஷித்தவனைப் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோய், அவனைக் கல்லெறியும்படி மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொன்னான்; கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.
