¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

²“Command the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),

²நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டுச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: கானான்தேசம் அதின் எல்லைகள் உட்பட உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கிடைக்கப்போகிறது; நீங்கள் கானான்தேசத்தில் சேரும்போது,

³then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;

³உங்கள் தென்புறம் சீன்வனாந்தரம் தொடங்கி ஏதோம் தேசத்தின் ஓரமட்டும் இருக்கும்; கிழக்கே இருக்கிற உப்புக்கடலின் கடைசி தொடங்கி உங்கள் தென் எல்லையாயிருக்கும்.

⁴and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out of it shall be southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon;

⁴உங்கள் எல்லை தெற்கிலிருந்து அக்கராபீம் மேடுகளைச் சுற்றி, சீன்வனாந்தரம் வரையில் போய், தெற்கிலே காதேஸ்பர்னேயாவுக்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து ஆத்சார் ஆதாருக்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து அஸ்மோனாவுக்கும் போய்,

⁵and the border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

⁵அஸ்மோனாவிலிருந்து எகிப்தின் நதிவரைக்கும் சுற்றிப்போய்க் கடலில் முடியும்.

⁶“‘For the western border, you shall have the great sea and its border: this shall be your west border.

⁶மேற்றிசைக்குப் பெருங்கடலே உங்களுக்கு எல்லை; அதுவே உங்களுக்கு மேற்புறத்து எல்லையாயிருக்கும்.

⁷“‘This shall be your north border: from the great sea you shall mark out for you Mount Hor;

⁷உங்களுக்கு வடதிசை எல்லை பெருங்கடல் தொடங்கி, ஓர் என்னும் மலையை உங்களுக்குக் குறிப்பாக வைத்து,

⁸from Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;

⁸ஓர் என்னும் மலை தொடங்கி, ஆமாத்திற்குப் போகிற வழியைக் குறிப்பாக வைத்து, அங்கேயிருந்து அந்த எல்லை சேதாத்திற்குப் போய்,

⁹and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar Enan: this shall be your north border.

⁹அங்கேயிருந்து அது சிப்ரோனுக்குப் போய், ஆத்சார் ஏனானிலே முடியும்; அதுவே உங்களுக்கு வடபுறத்து எல்லையாயிருக்கும்.

¹⁰“‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham;

¹⁰உங்களுக்குக் கீழ்த்திசை எல்லைக்கு ஆத்சார் ஏனானிலிருந்து சேப்பாமைக் குறிப்பாக வைத்து,

¹¹and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;

¹¹சேப்பாமிலிருந்து எல்லையானது ஆயினுக்குக் கிழக்கிலுள்ள ரிப்லாபரியந்தமும், அங்கேயிருந்து கின்னரேத் கடல் பரியந்தமும் அதின் கீழ்க்கரையோரமாய்,

¹²and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”

¹²அங்கேயிருந்து யோர்தான் பரியந்தமும் போய், உப்புக்கடலில் முடியும்; இந்தச் சுற்றெல்லைகளையுடைய தேசமே உங்களுக்குரிய தேசம் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

¹³Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;

¹³அப்பொழுது மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: ஒன்பதரைக் கோத்திரத்தாருக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டதும், நீங்கள் சீட்டுப்போட்டுச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டியதுமான தேசம் இதுவே.

¹⁴for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:

¹⁴ரூபன் புத்திரர் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படியும், காத் புத்திரர் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படியும், தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டதும் அல்லாமல், மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்தாரும் தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்.

¹⁵the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”

¹⁵இந்த இரண்டரைக் கோத்திரத்தாரும் சூரியோதய திசையாகிய கிழக்கே எரிகோவின் அருகேயுள்ள யோர்தானுக்கு இப்புறத்திலே தங்கள் சுகந்தரத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள் என்றான்.

¹⁶Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁶மேலும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

¹⁷“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

¹⁷உங்களுக்கு தேசத்தைப் பங்கிட்டுக் கொடுக்கும் மனிதரின் நாமங்களாவன: ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரும், நூனின் குமாரனாகிய யோசுவாவுமே.

¹⁸You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.

¹⁸அன்றியும், தேசத்தைப் பங்கிடும்படி ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு தலைவனையும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

¹⁹These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

¹⁹அந்த மனிதருடைய நாமங்களாவன: யூதா கோத்திரத்துக்கு எப்புன்னேயின் குமாரனாகிய காலேபும்,

²⁰Of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

²⁰சிமியோன் புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்துக்கு அம்மியூதின் குமாரனாகிய சாமுவேலும்,

²¹Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.

²¹பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்துக்குக் கிஸ்லோனின் குமாரனாகிய எலிதாதும்,

²²Of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.

²²தாண் புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்துக்கு யொக்லியின் குமாரனாகிய புக்கி என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

²³Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

²³யோசேப்பின் குமாரனாகிய மனாசே புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்துக்கு எபோதின் குமாரனாகிய அன்னியேல் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

²⁴Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.

²⁴எப்பிராயீம் புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்துக்குச் சிப்தானின் குமாரனாகிய கேமுவேல் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

²⁵Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

²⁵செபுலோன் புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்துக்குப் பர்னாகின் குமாரனாகிய எலிசாப்பான் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

²⁶Of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.

²⁶இசக்கார் புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்துக்கு ஆசானின் குமாரனாகிய பல்த்தியேல் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

²⁷Of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

²⁷ஆசேர் புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்துக்குச் சேலோமியின் குமாரனாகிய அகியூத் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

²⁸Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”

²⁸நப்தலி புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்துக்கு அம்மியூதின் குமாரனாகிய, பெதாக்கேல் என்னும் பிரபுவுமே என்றார்.

²⁹These are they whom Yahweh commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

²⁹கானான்தேசத்திலே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சுதந்தரங்களைப் பங்கிட்டுக் கொடுக்கிறதற்குக் கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டவர்கள் இவர்களே.
