¹Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me.

¹கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என்னை ஆராய்ந்து, அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்.

²You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.

²என் உட்காருதலையும் என் எழுந்திருக்குதலையும் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் நினைவுகளைத் தூரத்திலிருந்து அறிகிறீர்.

³You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.

³நான் நடந்தாலும் படுத்திருந்தாலும் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் வழிகளெல்லாம் உமக்குத் தெரியும்.

⁴For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether.

⁴என் நாவில் சொல் பிறவாததற்கு முன்னே, இதோ, கர்த்தாவே, அதையெல்லாம் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்.

⁵You hem me in behind and before. You laid your hand on me.

⁵முற்புறத்திலும் பிற்புறத்திலும் நீர் என்னை நெருக்கி, உமது கரத்தை என்மேல் வைக்கிறீர்.

⁶This knowledge is beyond me. It’s lofty. I can’t attain it.

⁶இந்த அறிவு எனக்கு மிகுந்த ஆச்சரியமும், எனக்கு எட்டாத உயரமுமாயிருக்கிறது.

⁷Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?

⁷உம்முடைய ஆவிக்கு மறைவாக எங்கே போவேன்? உம்முடைய சமுகத்தைவிட்டு எங்கே ஓடுவேன்?

⁸If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. , behold, you are there!

⁸நான் வானத்திற்கு ஏறினாலும், நீர் அங்கே இருக்கிறீர்; நான் பாதாளத்தில் படுக்கை போட்டாலும், நீர் அங்கேயும் இருக்கிறீர்.

⁹If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea;

⁹நான் விடியற்காலத்துச் செட்டைகளை எடுத்து, சமுத்திரத்தின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலே போய்த் தங்கினாலும்,

¹⁰Even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me.

¹⁰அங்கேயும் உமது கை என்னை நடத்தும், உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைப் பிடிக்கும்.

¹¹If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me; the light around me will be night”;

¹¹இருள் என்னை மூடிக்கொள்ளுமென்றாலும், இரவும் என்னைச் சுற்றி வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும்.

¹²even the darkness doesn’t hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you.

¹²உமக்கு மறைவாக இருளும் அந்தகாரப்படுத்தாது; இரவும் பகலைப்போல வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும்; உமக்கு இருளும் வெளிச்சமும் சரி.

¹³For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

¹³நீர் என் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்; என் தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றினீர்.

¹⁴I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.

¹⁴நான் பிரமிக்கத்தக்க அதிசயமாய் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டபடியால், உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமது கிரியைகள் அதிசயமானவைகள்; அது என் ஆத்துமாவுக்கு நன்றாய்த் தெரியும்.

¹⁵My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.

¹⁵நான் ஒளிப்பிடத்திலே உண்டாக்கப்பட்டு, பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களிலே விசித்திர விநோதமாய் உருவாக்கப்பட்டபோது, என் எலும்புகள் உமக்கு மறைவாயிருக்கவில்லை.

¹⁶Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.

¹⁶என் கருவை உம்முடைய கண்கள் கண்டது; என் அவயவங்களில் ஒன்றாகிலும் இல்லாதபோதே அவைகள் அனைத்தும், அவைகள் உருவேற்படும் நாட்களும், உமது புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருந்தது.

¹⁷How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum!

¹⁷தேவனே, உமது ஆலோசனைகள் எனக்கு எத்தனை அருமையானவைகள்; அவைகளின் தொகை எவ்வளவு அதிகம்.

¹⁸If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.

¹⁸அவைகளை நான் எண்ணப்போனால், மணலைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாம்; நான் விழிக்கும்போது இன்னும் உம்மண்டையில் இருக்கிறேன்.

¹⁹If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Get away from me, you bloodthirsty men!

¹⁹தேவனே, நீர் துன்மார்க்கனை அழித்தீரானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; இரத்தப்பிரியரே, நீங்கள் என்னை விட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள்.

²⁰For they speak against you wickedly. Your enemies take your name in vain.

²⁰அவர்கள் உம்மைக் குறித்துத் துன்மார்க்கமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உமது நாமத்தை வீணாய் வழங்குகிறார்கள்.

²¹Yahweh, don’t I hate those who hate you? Am I not grieved with those who rise up against you?

²¹கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களை நான் பகையாமலும், உமக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறவர்களை அருவருக்காமலும் இருப்பேனோ?

²²I hate them with perfect hatred. They have become my enemies.

²²முழுப்பகையாய் அவர்களைப் பகைக்கிறேன்; அவர்களை எனக்குப் பகைஞராக எண்ணுகிறேன்.

²³Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts.

²³தேவனே, என்னை ஆராய்ந்து, என் இருதயத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்; என்னைச் சோதித்து, என் சிந்தனைகளை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்.

²⁴See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

²⁴வேதனை உண்டாக்கும் வழி என்னிடத்தில் உண்டோ என்று பார்த்து, நித்திய வழியிலே என்னை நடத்தும்.
