1God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
1தேவனே, நீர் என்னுடைய தேவன்; அதிகாலமே உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; வறண்டதும் விடாய்த்ததும் தண்ணீரற்றதுமான நிலத்திலே என் ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகமாயிருக்கிறது, என் மாம்சமானது உம்மை வாஞ்சிக்கிறது.
2So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.
2இப்படியே பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தில் உம்மைப்பார்க்க ஆசையாயிருந்து, உமது வல்லமையையும் உமது மகிமையையும் கண்டேன்.
3Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.
3ஜீவனைப்பார்க்கிலும் உமது கிருபை நல்லது; என் உதடுகள் உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்.
4So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.

5My soul shall be satisfied as with the richest food. My mouth shall praise you with joyful lips,
5நிணத்தையும் கொழுப்பையும் உண்டதுபோல என் ஆத்துமா திருப்தியாகும்; என் வாய் ஆனந்தக்களிப்புள்ள உதடுகளால் உம்மைப் போற்றும்.
6when I remember you on my bed, and think about you in the night watches.
6என் படுக்கையின்மேல் நான் உம்மை நினைக்கும்போது, இராச்சாமங்களில் உம்மைத் தியானிக்கிறேன்.
7For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.
7நீர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிருந்ததினால், உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே களிகூருகிறேன்.
8My soul stays close to you. Your right hand holds me up.
8என் ஆத்துமா உம்மைத் தொடர்ந்து பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது; உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.
9But those who seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
9என் பிராணனை அழிக்கத் தேடுகிறவர்களோ, பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களில் இறங்குவார்கள்.
10They shall be given over to the power of the sword. They shall be jackal food.
10அவர்கள் பட்டயத்தால் விழுவார்கள்; நரிகளுக்கு இரையாவார்கள்.
11But the king shall rejoice in God. Everyone who swears by him will praise him, for the mouth of those who speak lies shall be silenced.
11ராஜாவோ தேவனில் களிகூருவார்; அவர்பேரில் சத்தியம்பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் யாவரும் மேன்மை பாராட்டுவார்கள்; பொய் பேசுகிறவர்களின் வாய் அடைக்கப்படும்.
