¹God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.

¹தேவசபையிலே தேவன் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறார்; தேவர்களின் நடுவிலே அவர் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறார்.

²“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.

²எதுவரைக்கும் நீங்கள் அநியாயத்தீர்ப்புச்செய்து, துன்மார்க்கருக்கு முகதாட்சிணியம்பண்ணுவீர்கள். (சேலா)

³“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

³ஏழைக்கும் திக்கற்றபிள்ளைக்கும் நியாயஞ்செய்து, சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்கும் திக்கற்றவனுக்கும் நீதி செய்யுங்கள்.

⁴Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”

⁴பலவீனனையும் எளியவனையும் விடுவித்து, துன்மார்க்கரின் கைக்கு அவர்களைத் தப்புவியுங்கள்.

⁵They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

⁵அறியாமலும் உணராமலும் இருக்கிறார்கள், அந்தகாரத்திலே நடக்கிறார்கள்; தேசத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்களெல்லாம் அசைகிறது.

⁶I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

⁶நீங்கள் தேவர்கள் என்றும், நீங்களெல்லாரும் உன்னதமானவரின் மக்கள் என்றும் நான் சொல்லியிருந்தேன்.

⁷Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”

⁷ஆனாலும் நீங்கள் மனுஷரைப்போலச் செத்து, லோகப்பிரபுக்களில் ஒருவனைப்போல விழுந்து போவீர்கள்.

⁸Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.

⁸தேவனே, எழுந்தருளும், பூமிக்கு நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும்; நீரே சகல ஜாதிகளையும் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்.
