¹Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

¹ในพวกท่านมีผู้ใดหรือ ถ้าเป็นความกับคนอื่น จะอาจไปว่าความกันต่อหน้าคนอธรรม และไม่ไปว่าต่อหน้าวิสุทธิชน

²Don’t you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

²ท่านไม่รู้หรือว่าวิสุทธิชนจะพิพากษาโลก และถ้าพวกท่านจะพิพากษาโลก ท่านไม่สมควรจะพิพากษาความเรื่องเล็กน้อยที่สุดหรือ

³Don’t you know that we will judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

³ท่านไม่รู้หรือว่า เราจะต้องพิพากษาพวกทูตสวรรค์ ถ้าเช่นนั้นจะยิ่งเป็นการสมควรสักเท่าใดที่เราจะพิพากษาตัดสินความเรื่องของชีวิตนี้

⁴If then, you have to judge things pertaining to this life, do you set them to judge who are of no account in the assembly?

⁴ฉะนั้นถ้าพวกท่านเป็นความกันเรื่องชีวิตนี้ ท่านจะตั้งคนที่คริสตจักรนับถือน้อยที่สุดให้ตัดสินหรือ

⁵I say this to move you to shame. Isn’t there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers?

⁵ข้าพเจ้ากล่าวดังนี้ก็เพื่อให้ท่านละอายใจ ในพวกท่านไม่มีสักคนหนึ่งหรือที่มีสติปัญญาสามารถชำระความระหว่างพี่น้อง

⁶But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers!

⁶แต่พี่น้องกับพี่น้องต้องไปว่าความกันต่อหน้าคนที่ไม่เชื่ออย่างนั้นหรือ

⁷Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

⁷เหตุฉะนั้นเพราะพวกท่านไปเป็นความกันท่านก็ตกจากระดับที่ควรแล้ว ทำไมท่านจึงไม่ทนต่อการร้ายซึ่งเขาทำแก่ท่าน ทำไมท่านจึงไม่ยอมถูกโกง

⁸No, but you yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that against your brothers.

⁸แต่ท่านเองกลับทำร้ายกัน และโกงกันในระหว่างพวกพี่น้องของท่านเอง

⁹Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,

⁹ท่านไม่รู้หรือว่าคนอธรรมจะไม่ได้รับอาณาจักรของพระเจ้าเป็นมรดก อย่าหลงเลย คนล่วงประเวณี คนถือรูปเคารพ คนผิดผัวเมียเขา คนนิสัยเหมือนผู้หญิงหรือคนที่เป็นกะเทย

¹⁰nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.

¹⁰คนขโมย คนโลภ คนขี้เมา คนปากร้าย คนฉ้อโกง จะไม่ได้รับอาณาจักรของพระเจ้าเป็นมรดก

¹¹Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

¹¹แต่ก่อนมีบางคนในพวกท่านเป็นคนอย่างนั้น แต่ท่านได้รับทรงชำระแล้ว และได้ทรงแยกตั้งท่านไว้แล้ว แต่พระวิญญาณแห่งพระเจ้าของเราได้ทรงตั้งท่านให้เป็นผู้ชอบธรรมในพระนามของพระเยซูเจ้า

¹²“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.

¹²ข้าพเจ้าทำสิ่งสารพัดได้ แต่ไม่ใช่ทุกสิ่งที่จะทำได้นั้นเป็นประโยชน์ ข้าพเจ้าทำสิ่งสารพัดได้ แต่ข้าพเจ้าไม่ยอมอยู่ใต้อำนาจของสิ่งใดเลย

¹³“Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

¹³อาหารมีไว้สำหรับท้อง และท้องก็สำหรับอาหาร แต่พระเจ้าจะทรงให้ทั้งท้องและอาหารสิ้นสูญไป แล้วร่างกายนั้นไม่ได้มีไว้สำหรับการล่วงประเวณี แต่มีไว้สำหรับองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ามีไว้สำหรับร่างกาย

¹⁴Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.

¹⁴พระเจ้าได้ทรงชุบให้องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเป็นขึ้นมาใหม่ และพระองค์จะทรงชุบให้เราทั้งหลายเป็นขึ้นมาใหม่โดยฤทธิ์เดชของพระองค์ด้วย

¹⁵Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!

¹⁵ท่านไม่รู้หรือว่า ร่างกายของท่านเป็นอวัยวะของพระคริสต์ เมื่อเป็นเช่นนั้น จะให้ข้าพเจ้าเอาอวัยวะของพระคริสต์มาเป็นอวัยวะของหญิงแพศยาได้หรือ ขอพระเจ้าอย่ายอมให้เป็นเช่นนั้นเลย

¹⁶Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, “The two,” says he, “will become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24

¹⁶ท่านไม่รู้หรือว่าคนที่ผูกพันกับหญิงแพศยาก็เป็นกายอันเดียวกันกับหญิงนั้น เพราะพระองค์ได้ตรัสว่า `เขาทั้งสองจะเป็นเนื้ออันเดียวกัน'

¹⁷But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

¹⁷แต่ส่วนคนที่ผูกพันกับองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ก็เป็นอันเดียวกันกับพระองค์ฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณ

¹⁸Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

¹⁸จงหลีกเลี่ยงเสียจากการล่วงประเวณี ความบาปทุกอย่างที่มนุษย์กระทำนั้นเป็นบาปนอกกาย แต่คนที่ล่วงประเวณีนั้นทำผิดต่อร่างกายของตนเอง

¹⁹Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own,

¹⁹ท่านไม่รู้หรือว่า ร่างกายของท่านเป็นวิหารของพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ ซึ่งสถิตอยู่ในท่าน ซึ่งท่านได้รับจากพระเจ้า ท่านไม่ใช่เจ้าของตัวท่านเอง

²⁰for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

²⁰พระเจ้าได้ทรงซื่อท่านไว้แล้วตามราคา เหตุฉะนั้นท่านจงถวายพระเกียรติแด่พระเจ้าด้วยร่างกายของท่าน และด้วยจิตวิญญาณของท่าน ซึ่งเป็นของพระเจ้า
