¹I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and he said, “Strike the tops of the pillars, that the thresholds may shake; and break them in pieces on the head of all of them; and I will kill the last of them with the sword: there shall not one of them flee away, and there shall not one of them escape.

¹ข้าพเจ้าเห็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าประทับยืนอยู่ข้างแท่นบูชา และพระองค์ตรัสว่า "จงตีที่หัวเสาเพื่อให้ธรณีประตูหวั่นไหว และจงหักมันเสียให้เป็นชิ้นๆเหนือศีรษะของประชาชนทั้งหมด คนที่ยังเหลืออยู่เราจะสังหารเสียด้วยดาบ จะไม่มีผู้ใดหนีไปได้เลย จะไม่รอดพ้นไปได้สักคนเดียว

²Though they dig into Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. , there my hand will take them; and though they climb up to heaven, there I will bring them down.

²แม้ว่าเขาจะขุดไปถึงนรก มือของเราจะจับเขามาจากที่นั่น ถ้าเขาจะปีนไปฟ้าสวรรค์ เราจะนำเขาลงมาจากที่นั่น

³Though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out there; and though they be hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent, and it will bite them.

³แม้ว่าเขาจะซ่อนอยู่ที่ยอดเขาคารเมล เราจะหาเขาที่นั่นแล้วจับเขามา แม้ว่าเขาจะไปซ่อนอยู่ที่ก้นทะเลให้พ้นตาเรา เราจะบัญชางูที่นั่น และมันจะกัดเขา

⁴Though they go into captivity before their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. I will set my eyes on them for evil, and not for good.

⁴แม้ว่าเขาจะตกไปเป็นเชลยต่อหน้าศัตรูของเขาทั้งหลาย เราจะบัญชาดาบที่นั่น และดาบจะฆ่าเขาเสีย เราจะจ้องมองดูเขาอยู่เป็นการมองร้าย ไม่ใช่มองดี"

⁵For the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, is he who touches the land and it melts, and all who dwell in it will mourn; and it will rise up wholly like the River, and will sink again, like the River of Egypt.

⁵องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าจอมโยธา พระองค์ผู้ทรงแตะต้องแผ่นดิน และแผ่นดินก็ละลายไป และบรรดาที่อาศัยอยู่ในนั้นก็ไว้ทุกข์ และแผ่นดินนั้นทั้งหมดก็เอ่อขึ้นมาอย่างแม่น้ำ และยุบลงอีกเหมือนแม่น้ำแห่งอียิปต์

⁶It is he who builds his rooms in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth; Yahweh is his name.

⁶ผู้ทรงสร้างห้องชั้นบนไว้ในสวรรค์ และตั้งฟ้าครอบไว้ที่พื้นโลก ผู้ทรงเรียกน้ำทะเลมาแล้วราดน้ำนั้นบนพื้นโลก พระนามของพระองค์คือ พระเยโฮวาห์

⁷Are you not like the children of the Ethiopians to me, children of Israel?” says Yahweh. “Haven’t I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

⁷พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "โอ คนอิสราเอลเอ๋ย แก่เราเจ้าไม่เป็นเหมือนคนเอธิโอเปียดอกหรือ เรามิได้พาอิสราเอลขึ้นมาจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์หรือ และพาคนฟีลิสเตียมาจากคัฟโทร์ และพาคนซีเรียมาจากคีร์หรือ

⁸Behold, the eyes of the Lord Yahweh are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the surface of the earth; except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,” says Yahweh.

⁸ดูเถิด พระเนตรขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าจับอยู่ที่ราชอาณาจักรอันบาปหนา และเราจะทำลายมันเสียจากพื้นโลก เว้นแต่เราจะไม่ทำลายวงศ์วานยาโคบให้สิ้นเสียทีเดียว" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละ

⁹“For, behold, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet not the least kernel will fall on the earth.

⁹"เพราะว่า ดูเถิด เราจะบัญชาและจะสั่นวงศ์วานอิสราเอลท่ามกลางประชาชาติทั้งหลายอย่างกับสั่นตะแกรง แต่ไม่มีเม็ดในสักเม็ดเดียวที่ตกลงถึงดิน

¹⁰All the sinners of my people will die by the sword, who say, ‘Evil won’t overtake nor meet us.’

¹⁰คนบาปทั้งปวงในประชาชนของเราจะตายด้วยดาบ คือผู้ที่กล่าวว่า `ความชั่วจะตามไม่ทันและจะไม่พบเรา'

¹¹In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;

¹¹ในวันนั้น เราจะยกพลับพลาของดาวิดซึ่งพังลงแล้วนั้นตั้งขึ้นใหม่ และซ่อมช่องชำรุดต่างๆเสีย และจะยกที่สลักหักพังขึ้น และจะสร้างเสียใหม่อย่างในสมัยโบราณกาล

¹²that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by my name,” says Yahweh who does this.

¹²เพื่อเขาจะได้ยึดกรรมสิทธิ์คนที่เหลืออยู่ของเอโดม และประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นซึ่งเขาเรียกด้วยนามของเรา" พระเยโฮวาห์ผู้ทรงกระทำเช่นนี้ตรัสดังนี้แหละ

¹³“Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the one treading grapes him who sows seed; and sweet wine will drip from the mountains, and flow from the hills.

¹³พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ดูเถิด วันเวลาก็มาถึง เมื่อคนที่ไถจะทันคนที่เกี่ยว และคนที่ย่ำผลองุ่นจะทันคนที่หว่านเมล็ดองุ่น จะมีน้ำองุ่นหยดจากภูเขา เนินเขาทั้งสิ้นจะละลายไป

¹⁴I will bring my people Israel back from captivity, and they will rebuild the ruined cities, and inhabit them; and they will plant vineyards, and drink wine from them. They shall also make gardens, and eat their fruit.

¹⁴เราจะให้อิสราเอลประชาชนของเรากลับสู่สภาพเดิม เขาจะสร้างเมืองที่พังนั้นขึ้นใหม่และเข้าอาศัยอยู่ เขาจะปลูกสวนองุ่นและดื่มน้ำองุ่นของสวนนั้น เขาจะทำสวนผลไม้และรับประทานผลของมัน

¹⁵I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them,” says Yahweh your God.

¹⁵เราจะปลูกเขาไว้ในแผ่นดินของเขา เขาจะไม่ถูกถอนออกไปจากแผ่นดินซึ่งเราได้มอบให้แก่เขาอีกเลย" พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ
