¹God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

¹ในโบราณกาลพระเจ้าได้ตรัสด้วยวิธีต่างๆมากมายแก่บรรพบุรุษทางพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์

²has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

²แต่ในวันสุดท้ายเหล่านี้พระองค์ได้ตรัสแก่เราทั้งหลายทางพระบุตร ผู้ซึ่งพระองค์ได้ทรงตั้งให้เป็นผู้รับสรรพสิ่งทั้งปวงเป็นมรดก พระองค์ได้ทรงสร้างกัลปจักรวาลโดยพระบุตร

³His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

³พระบุตรทรงเป็นแสงสะท้อนสง่าราศีของพระเจ้า และทรงมีสภาวะเป็นพิมพ์เดียวกันกับพระองค์ และทรงผดุงสรรพสิ่งไว้โดยพระดำรัสอันทรงฤทธิ์ของพระองค์ เมื่อพระบุตรได้ทรงชำระบาปของเราด้วยพระองค์เองแล้ว ก็ได้ทรงประทับนั่ง ณ เบื้องขวาพระหัตถ์ของผู้ทรงเดชานุภาพเบื้องบน

⁴having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have.

⁵For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “You are my Son. Today have I become your father?” Psalm 2:7 and again, “I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?” 2 Samuel 7:14; 1 Chronicles 17:13

⁵เพราะว่ามีผู้ใดบ้างในบรรดาทูตสวรรค์ที่พระองค์ได้ตรัสแก่เขาในเวลาใดว่า `ท่านเป็นบุตรของเรา วันนี้เราได้ให้กำเนิดแก่ท่านแล้ว' และยังตรัสอีกว่า `เราจะเป็นบิดาของเขา และเขาจะเป็นบุตรของเรา'

⁶Again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him.”

⁶และอีกครั้งหนึ่งเมื่อพระองค์ทรงนำพระบุตรองค์หัวปีนั้นเข้ามาในโลก พระองค์ก็ตรัสว่า `ให้บรรดาพวกทูตสวรรค์ทั้งสิ้นของพระเจ้านมัสการท่าน'

⁷Of the angels he says, “Who makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.” Psalm 104:4

⁷ส่วนพวกทูตสวรรค์นั้น พระองค์ตรัสว่า `พระองค์ทรงบันดาลพวกทูตสวรรค์ของพระองค์ให้เป็นดุจลม และทรงบันดาลผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ให้เป็นดุจเปลวเพลิง'

⁸But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.

⁸แต่ส่วนพระบุตรนั้น พระองค์ตรัสว่า `โอ พระเจ้าข้า พระที่นั่งของพระองค์ดำรงเป็นนิตย์และเป็นนิตย์ ราชธารพระกรแห่งอาณาจักรของพระองค์ก็เป็นธารพระกรเที่ยงธรรม

⁹You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.” Psalm 45:6-7

⁹พระองค์ทรงรักความชอบธรรม และทรงเกลียดชังความชั่วช้า ฉะนั้นพระเจ้า คือ พระเจ้าของพระองค์ ได้ทรงเจิมพระองค์ไว้ด้วยน้ำมันแห่งความยินดียิ่งกว่าพระสหายทั้งปวงของพระองค์'

¹⁰And, “You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.

¹⁰และ `องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเจ้าข้า เมื่อเดิมพระองค์ทรงวางรากฐานของแผ่นดินโลก และฟ้าสวรรค์เป็นพระหัตถกิจของพระองค์

¹¹They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does.

¹¹สิ่งเหล่านี้จะพินาศไป แต่พระองค์ทรงดำรงอยู่ สิ่งเหล่านี้จะเก่าไปเหมือนเครื่องนุ่งห่ม

¹²As a mantle, you will roll them up, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years will not fail.” Psalm 102:25-27

¹³But which of the angels has he told at any time, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?” Psalm 110:1

¹⁴Aren’t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
