3ข้าพเจ้าจึงพูดกับนางว่า "เธอต้องรอฉันให้หลายวันหน่อย อย่าเล่นชู้อีก อย่าไปเป็นของชายอื่นอีก ส่วนฉันก็จะไม่เข้าหาเธอด้วย"
4For the children of Israel shall live many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without sacred stone, and without ephod or idols.
4เพราะว่าวงศ์วานอิสราเอลจะคงอยู่อย่างไม่มีกษัตริย์ และไม่มีเจ้านายเป็นเวลานาน ทั้งจะไม่มีการสักการบูชา หรือเสาศักดิ์สิทธิ์ หรือเอโฟด หรือรูปพระ
5Afterward the children of Israel shall return, and seek Yahweh their God, and David their king, and shall come with trembling to Yahweh and to his blessings in the last days.
5ภายหลังวงศ์วานอิสราเอลจะกลับมา และแสวงหาพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเขา และแสวงดาวิดกษัตริย์ของเขาทั้งหลาย และในกาลต่อไปเขาจะมีความยำเกรงต่อพระเยโฮวาห์และต่อความดีของพระองค์
