1“Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh: look to the rock you were cut from, and to the hold of the pit you were dug from.
1"จงฟังเราซี เจ้าทั้งหลายผู้ติดตามความชอบธรรม เจ้าผู้แสวงหาพระเยโฮวาห์ จงมองดูหินซึ่งได้ทรงสกัดตัวเจ้ามา และจงมองดูบ่อหินซึ่งทรงขุดเอาตัวเจ้าทั้งหลายมา
2Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.
2จงมองอับราฮัมบรรพบุรุษของเจ้าทั้งหลาย และดูซาราห์ผู้คลอดเจ้า เพราะเมื่อมีเขาอยู่แต่คนเดียว เราได้ร้องเรียกเขา และเราอวยพรเขา และกระทำให้เป็นคนมากมาย
3For Yahweh has comforted Zion; he has comforted all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Yahweh; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
3เพราะว่าพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงเล้าโลมศิโยน พระองค์จะทรงเล้าโลมที่ทิ้งร้างทั้งสิ้นของเธอ และจะทำถิ่นทุรกันดารของเธอเหมือนสวนเอเดน และทะเลทรายของเธอเหมือนอุทยานของพระเยโฮวาห์ จะพบความชื่นบานและความยินดีในเธอ ทั้งการโมทนาและเสียงเพลง
4“Attend to me, my people; and give ear to me, my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a light of the peoples.
4ชนชาติของเราเอ๋ย จงฟังเสียงของเรา ชาติของเราเอ๋ย จงเงี่ยหูฟังเรา เพราะราชบัญญัติจะออกไปจากเรา และความยุติธรรมจะออกไปเป็นความสว่างของชนชาติทั้งหลาย
5My righteousness is near, my salvation is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the peoples; the islands shall wait for me, and on my arm shall they trust.
5ความชอบธรรมของเราใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว และความรอดของเราได้ออกไปแล้ว แขนของเราจะพิพากษาชนชาติทั้งหลาย เกาะทั้งหลายจะรอคอยเรา และเขาจะหวังคอยแขนของเรา
6Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and those who dwell therein shall die in the same way: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
6จงแหงนตาดูฟ้าสวรรค์ และมองดูโลกเบื้องล่าง เพราะว่าฟ้าสวรรค์จะศูนย์สิ้นไปเหมือนควัน และแผ่นดินโลกจะร่อยหรอไปเหมือนอย่างเสื้อผ้า และเขาทั้งหลายผู้อาศัยอยู่ในนั้นจะตายไปเหมือนกัน แต่ความรอดของเราจะอยู่เป็นนิตย์ และความชอบธรรมของเราจะไม่สิ้นสุดเลย
7“Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; don’t fear the reproach of men, neither be dismayed at their insults.
7จงฟังเรา เจ้าทั้งหลายผู้รู้ถึงความชอบธรรม ชนชาติซึ่งราชบัญญัติของเราอยู่ในใจ อย่ากลัวการตำหนิของมนุษย์ และอย่าวิตกต่อการกล่าวหยาบช้าของเขา
8For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation to all generations.”
8เพราะว่าตัวมอดจะกินเขาเหมือนกินเสื้อผ้า และตัวหนอนจะกินเขาเหมือนกินขนแกะ แต่ความชอบธรรมของเราจะอยู่เป็นนิตย์ และความรอดของเราจะอยู่ตลอดทุกชั่วอายุ
9Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of Yahweh; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?
9ข้าแต่พระกรของพระเยโฮวาห์ จงตื่นเถิด ตื่นเถิด จงสวมกำลัง จงตื่นอย่างสมัยโบราณในชั่วอายุนานมาแล้ว ท่านไม่ใช่หรือที่ฟันราหับ และทำให้พญานาคได้รับบาดเจ็บ
10Isn’t it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
10ท่านไม่ใช่หรือที่ทำให้ทะเลแห้งไป คือน้ำของมหาสมุทรใหญ่ด้วย ซึ่งทำที่ลึกของทะเลให้เป็นหนทาง เพื่อให้ผู้ที่ได้ไถ่ไว้แล้วเดินผ่านไป
11The ransomed of Yahweh shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their heads. They shall obtain gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
11ฉะนั้นผู้ที่ไถ่ไว้แล้วของพระเยโฮวาห์จะกลับ และร้องเพลงมาศิโยน ความชื่นบานเป็นนิตย์จะอยู่บนศีรษะของเขา เขาจะได้รับความชื่นบานและความยินดี ความโศกเศร้าและการไว้ทุกข์จะหนีไปเสีย
12“I, even I, am he who comforts you: who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;
12เรา คือเราเอง ผู้เล้าโลมเจ้า เจ้าเป็นผู้ใดเล่าที่กลัวมนุษย์ผู้ซึ่งต้องตาย คือกลัวบุตรของมนุษย์ซึ่งถูกทำให้เหมือนหญ้า
13and have forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he makes ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
13และที่ได้ลืมพระเยโฮวาห์ผู้สร้างของตนเสีย ผู้ทรงขึงฟ้าสวรรค์และวางรากฐานของแผ่นดินโลก และที่กลัวอยู่เรื่อยไปตลอดวัน เพราะความเกรี้ยวกราดของผู้บีบบังคับ เมื่อเขาตั้งตัวเขาที่จะทำลาย และความเกรี้ยวกราดของผู้บีบบังคับอยู่ที่ไหนเล่า
14The captive exile shall speedily be freed; and he shall not die and go down into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.
14ผู้ใดที่เป็นเชลยเร่งรีบเพื่อจะได้รับการปลดปล่อย เพื่อเขาจะไม่ตายในหลุม ทั้งอาหารของเขาจะไม่ขาด
15For I am Yahweh your God, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar: Yahweh of Armies is his name.
15เพราะเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเจ้า ผู้แบ่งแยกทะเลและคลื่นก็คะนอง พระนามของพระองค์คือพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธา
16I have put my words in your mouth, and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and tell Zion, ‘You are my people.’”
16และเราได้ใส่ถ้อยคำของเราในปากของเจ้า และซ่อนเจ้าไว้ในร่มมือของเรา ซึ่งตั้งฟ้าสวรรค์ และวางรากฐานของแผ่นดินโลก และกล่าวแก่ศิโยนว่า `เจ้าเป็นชนชาติของเรา'"
17Awake, awake, stand up, Jerusalem, that have drunk at the hand of Yahweh the cup of his wrath; you have drunken the bowl of the cup of staggering, and drained it.
17โอ เยรูซาเล็มเอ๋ย จงปลุกตัวเอง จงปลุกตัวเอง จงยืนขึ้นเถิด เจ้าผู้ได้ดื่มจากพระหัตถ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์ ซึ่งถ้วยแห่งพระพิโรธของพระองค์ ผู้ได้ดื่มถึงตะกอน ซึ่งถ้วยแห่งความโซเซ และดูดมันออก
18There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she has brought forth; neither is there any who takes her by the hand among all the sons who she has brought up.
18ในบรรดาบุตรชายที่นางคลอดมาก็ไม่มีผู้ใดนำนาง ในบรรดาบุตรชายที่นางชุบเลี้ยงมาก็ไม่มีใครจูงมือนาง
19These two things have happened to you. Who will bemoan you? Desolation and destruction, and the famine and the sword; how shall I comfort you?
19สองสิ่งนี้ได้มาถึงเจ้า ผู้ใดเล่าจะเศร้าโศกเสียใจเพื่อเจ้า ได้แก่การล้างผลาญและการทำลาย การกันดารอาหารและดาบ
20Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as an antelope in a net; they are full of the wrath of Yahweh, the rebuke of your God.
20บุตรชายของเจ้าสลบไปแล้ว เขานอนอยู่ที่ทุกหัวถนนเหมือนวัวรำขาวติดข่าย เขาทั้งหลายโชกโชนด้วยพระพิโรธของพระเยโฮวาห์ และการขนาบของพระเจ้าของเจ้า
21Therefore hear now this, you afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
21ฉะนั้นเจ้าผู้ถูกข่มใจ ผู้ซึ่งมึนเมาแต่มิใช่ด้วยเหล้าองุ่น จงฟังข้อนี้เถิด
22Thus says your Lord Yahweh, and your God who pleads the cause of his people, “Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; you shall no more drink it again:
22องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเจ้า พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเจ้า ผู้ทรงสู้คดีแห่งชนชาติของพระองค์ ตรัสดังนี้ว่า "ดูเถิด เราได้เอาถ้วยแห่งความโซเซมาจากมือของเจ้า แล้วตะกอนในถ้วยแห่งความพิโรธของเรา เจ้าจะไม่ต้องดื่มอีก
23and I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to your soul, ‘Bow down, that we may walk over you;’ and you have laid your back as the ground, and as the street, to those who walk over.”
23แต่เราจะใส่มันไว้ในมือของผู้ทรมานเจ้า ผู้ได้พูดกับจิตใจเจ้าว่า `ก้มลง เราจะได้ข้ามไป' และเจ้าได้กระทำให้หลังของเจ้าเหมือนพื้นดิน และเหมือนถนนเพื่อให้เขาข้ามไป"
