1Behold, Yahweh’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; neither his ear heavy, that it can’t hear:
1ดูเถิด พระหัตถ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์มิได้สั้นลง ที่จะช่วยให้รอดไม่ได้ หรือพระกรรณตึง ซึ่งจะไม่ทรงได้ยิน
2but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
2แต่ว่าความชั่วช้าของเจ้าทั้งหลายได้กระทำให้เกิดการแยกระหว่างเจ้ากับพระเจ้าของเจ้า และบาปของเจ้าทั้งหลายได้บังพระพักตร์ของพระองค์เสียจากเจ้า พระองค์จึงมิได้ยิน
3For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue mutters wickedness.
3เพราะมือของเจ้ามลทินด้วยโลหิต และนิ้วมือของเจ้าด้วยความชั่วช้า ริมฝีปากของเจ้าได้พูดคำเท็จ ลิ้นของเจ้าพึมพำความอธรรม
4None sues in righteousness, and none pleads in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
4ไม่มีผู้ใดฟ้องอย่างยุติธรรม ไม่มีผู้ใดขึ้นศาลอย่างสัตย์จริง เขาทั้งหลายวางใจอยู่กับสิ่งที่ไม่เป็นสาระ เขาพูดเท็จ เขาตั้งครรภ์ความชั่วและคลอดความชั่วช้า
5They hatch adders’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he who eats of their eggs dies; and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.
5เขาฟักไข่งูทับทาง เขาทอใยแมงมุม เขาผู้กินไข่นั้นก็ตาย แม้ไข่ลูกใดถูกทุบ งูร้ายก็เป็นตัวขึ้นมา
6Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
6ใยของมันจะใช้เป็นเสื้อผ้าไม่ได้ คนจะเอาสิ่งที่มันทำมาคลุมตัวไม่ได้ กิจการของมันเป็นการชั่วช้า และการกระทำอันทารุณก็อยู่ในมือของเขา
7Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their paths.
7เท้าของเขาวิ่งไปหาความชั่ว และเขาเร่งไปหลั่งโลหิตไร้ความผิดให้ถึงตาย ความคิดของเขาเป็นความคิดชั่วช้า การล้างผลาญและการทำลายอยู่ในหนทางของเขา
8The way of peace they don’t know; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whoever goes therein does not know peace.
8เขาไม่รู้จักทางแห่งสันติสุข ไม่มีความยุติธรรมในวิถีของเขา เขาได้ทำให้ถนนของเขาคดโค้ง ผู้ใดที่เดินในนั้นจะไม่รู้จักสันติสุข
9Therefore is justice far from us, neither does righteousness overtake us: we look for light, but, behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity.
9เพราะฉะนั้นความยุติธรรมจึงอยู่ห่างจากเราทั้งหลาย และความเที่ยงธรรมตามเราไม่ทัน เราทั้งหลายคอยท่าความสว่างและ ดูเถิด ความมืด คอยท่าความสุกใส แต่เราดำเนินในความมืดคลุ้ม
10We grope for the wall like the blind; yes, we grope as those who have no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the twilight; among those who are lusty we are as dead men.
10เราทั้งหลายคลำหากำแพงเหมือนคนตาบอด เราคลำหาราวกับว่าเราไม่มีลูกตา เราสะดุดในเวลาเที่ยงเหมือนในเวลากลางคืน เราอยู่ในที่โดดเดี่ยวเหมือนคนตาย
11We roar all like bears, and moan bitterly like doves: we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
11เราทุกคนครางเหมือนหมี และพิลาปเหมือนนกเขา และมองหาความยุติธรรม แต่ไม่มีเลย หาความรอด แต่ก็อยู่ไกลจากเรา
12For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them:
12เพราะการละเมิดของข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายทวีขึ้นต่อพระพักตร์พระองค์ และบาปของข้าพระองค์ก็ปรักปรำข้าพระองค์ เพราะการละเมิดของข้าพระองค์อยู่กับข้าพระองค์ ส่วนความชั่วช้าของข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์ก็รู้จัก
13transgressing and denying Yahweh, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
13คือการละเมิด การปฏิเสธพระเยโฮวาห์ การหันไปจากการติดตามพระเจ้าของเรา การพูดที่เป็นการบีบบังคับและการกบฏ การก่อและการกล่าวคำเท็จจากใจ
14Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and uprightness can’t enter.
14ความยุติธรรมก็หันกลับ และความเที่ยงธรรมก็ยืนอยู่แต่ไกล เพราะความจริงล้มลงที่ถนนเสียแล้ว และความเที่ยงตรงเข้าไปไม่ได้
15Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.
15เออ สัจจะขาดอยู่ และผู้ใดที่พรากจากความชั่วก็ทำตัวให้เป็นเหยื่อ พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเห็น แล้วไม่เป็นที่พอพระทัยพระองค์ที่ไม่มีความยุติธรรม
16He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness, it upheld him.
16พระองค์ทรงเห็นว่าไม่มีคนใดเลย ทรงประหลาดพระทัยว่าไม่มีใครอ้อนวอนเผื่อ เพราะฉะนั้นพระกรของพระองค์เองก็นำความรอดมาสู่พระองค์ และความชอบธรรมของพระองค์ชูพระองค์ไว้
17He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head; and he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.
17พระองค์ทรงสวมความชอบธรรมเป็นทับทรวง และพระมาลาแห่งความรอดอยู่เหนือพระเศียรของพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงสวมฉลองพระองค์แห่งการแก้แค้นเป็นของคลุมพระกาย และเอาความกระตือรือร้นห่มพระองค์
18According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.
18พระองค์จะทรงชำระให้ตามการกระทำของเขา คือพระพิโรธแก่ปรปักษ์ของพระองค์ และสิ่งสนองแก่ศัตรูของพระองค์ พระองค์จะทรงมอบการสนองแก่เกาะทั้งหลาย
19So shall they fear the name of Yahweh from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of Yahweh drives.
19เขาจึงจะยำเกรงพระนามพระเยโฮวาห์จากตะวันตก และสง่าราศีของพระองค์จากที่ตะวันขึ้น เมื่อศัตรูมาอย่างแม่น้ำเชี่ยว พระวิญญาณของพระเยโฮวาห์จะยกธงขึ้นสู้มัน
20“A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob,” says Yahweh.
20พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "และพระผู้ไถ่จะเสด็จมายังศิโยน มายังบรรดาผู้อยู่ในยาโคบผู้หันจากการละเมิด"
21“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says Yahweh. “My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed’s seed,” says Yahweh, “from henceforth and forever.”
21พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "และฝ่ายเรา นี่เป็นพันธสัญญาของเรากับเขาทั้งหลาย คือวิญญาณของเราซึ่งอยู่เหนือเจ้า และคำของเราซึ่งเราใส่ไว้ในปากของเจ้าจะไม่พรากไปจากปากของเจ้า หรือจากปากเชื้อสายของเจ้า หรือจากปากของเชื้อสายแห่งเชื้อสายของเจ้า ตั้งแต่เวลานี้ไปจนกาลนิรันดร์" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้
