1Open your doors, Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars.
1โอ เลบานอนเอ๋ย จงเปิดบรรดาประตูของเจ้า เพื่อไฟจะได้เผาผลาญไม้สนสีดาร์ของเจ้าเสีย
2Wail, fir tree, for the cedar has fallen, because the stately ones are destroyed. Wail, you oaks of Bashan, for the strong forest has come down.
2โอ ต้นสนสามใบเอ๋ย จงร่ำไห้เถิด เพราะไม้สนสีดาร์ล้มเสียแล้ว เพราะบรรดาไม้ที่สง่างามพินาศลงไปแล้ว โอ ต้นโอ๊กเมืองบาชานเอ๋ย จงร่ำไห้เถิด เพราะป่าทึบถูกโค่นเสียแล้ว
3A voice of the wailing of the shepherds! For their glory is destroyed: a voice of the roaring of young lions! For the pride of the Jordan is ruined.
3ฟังซิ เสียงร่ำไห้ของเมษบาล เพราะสง่าราศีของเขาทั้งหลายก็ถูกทำลายไปแล้ว ฟังซิ เสียงสิงโตหนุ่มคำราม เพราะว่าความภูมิใจแห่งแม่น้ำจอร์แดนก็ร้างเปล่า
4Thus says Yahweh my God: “Feed the flock of slaughter.
4พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของข้าพเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า "จงเลี้ยงฝูงแพะแกะที่ต้องถูกฆ่า
5Their buyers slaughter them, and go unpunished. Those who sell them say, ‘Blessed be Yahweh, for I am rich;’ and their own shepherds don’t pity them.
5บรรดาผู้ที่ซื้อมันไปก็ฆ่ามันเสีย และไม่ต้องมีโทษ และบรรดาคนที่ขายมันกล่าวว่า `สาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ เพราะข้าพเจ้ามั่งมีแล้ว' และเมษบาลของมันทั้งหลายไม่สงสารมันเลย
6For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land,” says Yahweh; “but, behold, I will deliver the men everyone into his neighbor’s hand, and into the hand of his king. They will strike the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.”
6พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า เพราะเราจะไม่สงสารชาวแผ่นดินนี้อีกต่อไป ดูเถิด เราก็จะกระทำให้เขาต่างคนตกเข้าไปในมือของเพื่อนบ้านของเขา และต่างก็ตกไปในหัตถ์ของกษัตริย์ของเขา และท่านจะบีบแผ่นดินให้แหลก และเราจะไม่ช่วยเหลือคนหนึ่งคนใดให้พ้นมือของท่านทั้งหลายเลย"
7So I fed the flock of slaughter, especially the oppressed of the flock. I took for myself two staffs. The one I called “Favor,” and the other I called “Union,” and I fed the flock.
7ดังนั้น ข้าพเจ้าจึงจะได้เลี้ยงดูฝูงแพะแกะที่ถูกฆ่า คือตัวเจ้าเอง โอ พวกที่น่าสงสารแห่งฝูงแกะเอ๋ย ข้าพเจ้าจึงเอาไม้เท้าสองอัน อันหนึ่งให้ชื่อว่า พระคุณ อีกอ้นหนึ่งข้าพเจ้าให้ชื่อว่า สหภาพ และข้าพเจ้าก็เลี้ยงดูฝูงแกะ
8I cut off the three shepherds in one month; for my soul was weary of them, and their soul also loathed me.
8ในเดือนเดียวข้าพเจ้าตัดเมษบาลสามคนนั้นออกเสีย แต่จิตใจข้าพเจ้าเกลียดชังแกะเหล่านั้น และจิตใจแกะก็เกลียดชังข้าพเจ้าด้วย
9Then I said, “I will not feed you. That which dies, let it die; and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let those who are left eat each other’s flesh.”
9ข้าพเจ้าจึงว่า "ข้าจะไม่เลี้ยงดูเจ้า อะไรจะต้องตายก็ให้ตายไป อะไรที่จะต้องถูกตัดออกก็ให้ถูกตัดออกไปเสีย และให้บรรดาที่เหลืออยู่นั้นกินเนื้อซึ่งกันและกัน"
10I took my staff Favor, and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant that I had made with all the peoples.
10ข้าพเจ้าก็เอาไม้เท้าที่ชื่อ พระคุณ นั้นมาหัก เพื่อล้มเลิกพันธสัญญาซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้ทำไว้กับชนชาติทั้งหลายเสีย
11It was broken in that day; and thus the poor of the flock that listened to me knew that it was the word of Yahweh.
11จึงเป็นอันล้มเลิกในวันนั้น และพวกที่น่าสงสารแห่งฝูงแกะ ผู้ซึ่งคอยดูข้าพเจ้าอยู่ก็รู้ว่า นั่นเป็นพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์
12I said to them, “If you think it best, give me my wages; and if not, keep them.” So they weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
12แล้วข้าพเจ้าจึงพูดกับเขาว่า "ถ้าท่านเห็นควรก็ขอค่าจ้างแก่เรา ถ้าไม่เห็นควรก็ไม่ต้อง" แล้วเขาก็ชั่งเงินสามสิบเหรียญออกให้แก่ข้าพเจ้าเป็นค่าจ้าง
13Yahweh said to me, “Throw it to the potter, the handsome price that I was valued at by them!” I took the thirty pieces of silver, and threw them to the potter, in the house of Yahweh.
13แล้วพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าว่า "จงโยนเงินนั้นให้แก่ช่างปั้นหม้อ" คือเงินก้อนงามที่เขาจ่ายให้ข้าพเจ้า ดังนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงเอาเงินสามสิบเหรียญโยนให้แก่ช่างปั้นหม้อในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์
14Then I cut apart my other staff, even Union, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
14แล้วข้าพเจ้าก็หักไม้เท้าอันที่สองที่ชื่อ สหภาพ นั้นเสีย ล้มเลิกภราดรภาพระหว่างยูดาห์และอิสราเอล
15Yahweh said to me, “Take for yourself yet again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.
15แล้วพระเยโฮวาห์จึงตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าว่า "จงหยิบเครื่องใช้ของเมษบาลโง่เขลาขึ้นมาอีกครั้งหนึ่ง
16For, behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not visit those who are cut off, neither will seek those who are scattered, nor heal that which is broken, nor feed that which is sound; but he will eat the flesh of the fat sheep, and will tear their hoofs in pieces.
16เพราะดูเถิด เราจะตั้งเมษบาลผู้หนึ่งในแผ่นดินนี้ ผู้ไม่แวะไปหาตัวที่ถูกตัดออกไป หรือแสวงหาตัวที่ยังหนุ่ม หรือรักษาตัวที่หักเสียแล้ว หรือเลี้ยงดูตัวที่เป็นปกติ แต่กินเนื้อของแกะอ้วนทุกตัว ฉีกกินจนกระทั่งถึงกีบของมัน
17Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! The sword will be on his arm, and on his right eye. His arm will be completely withered, and his right eye will be totally blinded!”
17วิบัติแก่เมษบาลผู้ไร้ค่าของเรา ผู้ที่ทอดทิ้งฝูงแพะแกะเสีย ขอให้ดาบฟันแขนของเขาและฟันตาขวาของเขาเถิด ขอให้แขนของเขาลีบไปเสีย และให้ตาขวาของเขาบอดทีเดียว"
