Young`s Literal Translation

Hebrews

7

1 Melkisedeg moomu doon buuru Salem, moo nekkoon saraxalekat ca Yàlla Aji Kawe ji.
1For this Melchisedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who did meet Abraham turning back from the smiting of the kings, and did bless him,
Gannaaw loolu mooy buuru Salem, tur woowu mooy tekki «buuru jàmm.»
2to whom also a tenth of all did Abraham divide, (first, indeed, being interpreted, `King of righteousness,` and then also, King of Salem, which is, King of Peace,)
3 Melkisedeg nag xamaluñu ko baay, xamaluñu ko yaay walla menn maam. Amul fenn fu ñu wax ag juddoom walla ag deeyam. Moo tax nu di ko mengale ak Doomu Yàlla ji, ndaxte saraxalekat la bu kenn dul wuutu.
3without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, and being made like to the Son of God, doth remain a priest continually.
4 Seetleen ni mu màgge, moom Melkisedeg! Ibraayma sax, maamu cosaan mi, fab na li mu jële woon lépp ca xare ba, jox Melkisedeg asaka ja.
4And see how great this one [is], to whom also a tenth Abraham the patriarch did give out of the best of the spoils,
5 Yoonu Musaa digle na ne, ñi bokk ci giiru Lewi te di ay saraxalekat, nañu jot asaka ci alalu bànni Israyil, doonte sax ñuy seeni bokk te soqikoo ci Ibraayma.
5and those, indeed, out of the sons of Levi receiving the priesthood, a command have to take tithes from the people according to the law, that is, their brethren, even though they came forth out of the loins of Abraham;
6and he who was not reckoned by genealogy of them, received tithes from Abraham, and him having the promises he hath blessed,
7 Kiy barkeel a gën a màgg ki ñuy barkeel, loolu amu ci benn werante.
7and apart from all controversy, the less by the better is blessed —
8 Saraxalekat yi soqikoo ci Lewi, ñu ngi jot asaka, ni ko Melkisedeg jote woon. Waaye ñoom ñu nar a dee lañu.
8and here, indeed, men who die do receive tithes, and there [he], who is testified to that he was living,
9 Léegi nag ci ni ñu ko man a waxe, Lewi miy jot asaka ci bànni Israyil, moom ci boppam jox na ko Melkisedeg, jaare ko ci Ibraayma.
9and so to speak, through Abraham even Levi who is receiving tithes, hath paid tithes,
10 Ndaxte mi ngi nekkoon ci geñog maamam Ibraayma, bi ko Melkisedeg gatandoo.
10for he was yet in the loins of the father when Melchisedek met him.
11 Jox nañu bànni Israyil yoon wu sukkandiku ci liggéeyu saraxalekat yi soqikoo ci Lewi. Su fekkoonte ne nag liggéeyu saraxalekat yooyu manoon na yeggale nit cig mat, kon du soxlaati ab saraxalekat ni ko Melkisedeg nekke, ci fànn gu wuute ak gu Aaroona.
11If indeed, then, perfection were through the Levitical priesthood — for the people under it had received law — what further need, according to the order of Melchisedek, for another priest to arise, and not to be called according to the order of Aaron?
12 Te bu ñu fi jëlee saraxalekat yi ak seen liggéey, dañoo war a toxal itam yoon, wi ñu fi tëraloon.
12for the priesthood being changed, of necessity also, of the law a change doth come,
13 Noonu Yeesu mi nuy wax, mi ngi soqikoo ci geneen giir gu bokkul ak giiru Lewi. Giir googu nag, amu ci kenn ku ci mas a def liggéeyu saraxale ca saraxalukaay ba.
13for he of whom these things are said in another tribe hath had part, of whom no one gave attendance at the altar,
14 Li wóor moo di, sunu Boroom mi ngi soqikoo ci giiru Yuda.
14for [it is] evident that out of Judah hath arisen our Lord, in regard to which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
15And it is yet more abundantly most evident, if according to the similitude of Melchisedek there doth arise another priest,
16 Te defuñu ko saraxalekat jaarale ko ci yoonu ndono, waaye fal nañu ko ci dooley dund gu amul àpp.
16who came not according to the law of a fleshly command, but according to the power of an endless life,
17 Ndaxte seedeel nañu Yeesu lii:«Doon nga saraxalekat ba fàwwmel ni Melkisedeg.»
17for He doth testify — `Thou [art] a priest — to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;`
18 Noonu tebbi nañu yoon wu jëkk, wa néewoon doole te meññul dara
18for a disannulling indeed doth come of the command going before because of its weakness, and unprofitableness,
19 --ndax yoonu Musaa yeggalewul dara cig mat — waaye dugalal nañu nu fii yaakaar ju gën ju nu man a jaare ngir jege Yàlla.
19(for nothing did the law perfect) and the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw nigh to God.
20 Te rax-ca-dolli ngiñ ànd na ci. Ndaxte ñi soqikoo ci Lewi doon nañu ay saraxalekat te kenn giñul.
20And inasmuch as [it is] not apart from oath, (for those indeed apart from oath are become priests,
21and he with an oath through Him who is saying unto him, `The Lord sware, and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest — to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;`)
22 Ngiñ loolu moo tax Yeesu nekk tayle, giy wóoral kóllëre gi gën.
22by so much of a better covenant hath Jesus become surety,
23 Te it yeneen saraxalekat yi dañoo bare woon, ndaxte dee moo daan tax duñu man a sax ci seen liggéey.
23and those indeed are many who have become priests, because by death they are hindered from remaining;
24 Waaye Yeesu miy dund ba fàww, sasoo na liggéeyu saraxale bu sax fàww.
24and he, because of his remaining — to the age, hath the priesthood not transient,
25 Loolu moo tax it mu man a musal tey yeggale cig mat ñiy jaar ci moom te bëgg jege Yàlla, ndaxte mi ngi dund ba fàww ngir di leen rammu.
25whence also he is able to save to the very end, those coming through him unto God — ever living to make intercession for them.
26 Kon nag Yeesu mooy saraxalekat bu mag, bi nu soxla; dafa sell, du def lu bon, du taq bàkkaar, bokkul dara ak bàkkaarkat yi, te yéege nañu ko fa Yàlla.
26For such a chief priest did become us — kind, harmless, undefiled, separate from the sinners, and become higher than the heavens,
27 Niroowul ak yeneen saraxalekat yu mag yi; soxlawul di def bés bu set ay saraxi mala ngir bàkkaari boppam jëkk, teg ca yoy mbooloo mi. Yeesu def na sarax benn yoon ba fàww ngir dindi bàkkaar yi, bi muy joxe bakkanam.
27who hath no necessity daily, as the chief priests, first for his own sins to offer up sacrifice, then for those of the people; for this he did once, having offered up himself;
28 Naka yoonu Musaa, aji néew doole yi lay fal saraxalekat yu mag. Waaye ngiñu Yàlla gi ñëw gannaaw yoon wi, Doom ji la fal saraxalekat bu mag bu mat ba fàww.
28for the law doth appoint men chief priests, having infirmity, but the word of the oath that [is] after the law [appointeth] the Son — to the age having been perfected.
