2

1 Su nu Kirist mayee fit nag ak mbëggeel guy dëfël sunu xol, su nu amee cér ci Xel mu Sell mi, su amee cofeel ak yërmande ci sunu bokk ci moom,
1If then [there be] any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of [the] Spirit, if any bowels and compassions,
2 kon mottalileen sama mbég, ci bokk benn xalaat ak genn mbëggeel, benn bakkan ak menn xel.
2fulfil my joy, that ye may think the same thing, having the same love, joined in soul, thinking one thing;
3 Buleen def dara ci kaw wut aw tur walla wonu, waaye jiital-leen seeni moroom cig woyof.
3[let] nothing [be] in the spirit of strife or vain glory, but, in lowliness of mind, each esteeming the other as more excellent than themselves;
4 Buleen yem ci topptoo seen bopp rekk, waaye booleleen ci seeni moroom.
4regarding not each his own [qualities], but each those of others also.
5 Te ngeen soloo xel mi nekkoon ci Kirist Yeesu:
5For let this mind be in you which [was] also in Christ Jesus;
6 Njàlbéen ga fekk na Kirist yor melow Yàlla,waaye aakimowul taxawaayamci li mu mengoo ak Yàlla.
6who, subsisting in the form of God, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God;
7 Waaye daa wàcce boppam,ba tollook nit ñi,def boppam surga.Te bi mu yoree bindu nit,
7but emptied himself, taking a bondman's form, taking his place in [the] likeness of men;
8 daa suufeel boppam,di dégg ndigal, ba joxe boppam,ñu daaj ko sax ci bant.
8and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and [that the] death of [the] cross.
9 Moo tax Yàlla kaweel ko lool,jox ko tur wi tiim yépp,
9Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,
10 ngir turu Yeesoo tax ñépp sukk,ci asamaan, ci kaw suuf, ci biir suuf;
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal [beings],
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord to God [the] Father's glory.
12 Noonu samay soppe, xam naa ne, musuleen a jóg ci dégg ndigal, waxuma sax bi ma nekkee ak yéen rekk, waaye rawatina bi ma leen soree. Kon nag maa ngi leen di ñaan, ngeen biral seen mucc ci seeni jëf, te def ko ci ragal Yàlla gu dëggu.
12So that, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
13 Ndaxte Yàlla ci boppam mooy jëf ci yéen, ngir ngeen fonk coobareem te di ko jëfe.
13for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure.
14 Lépp lu ngeen di def nag, buleen ci boole xultu mbaa xuloo.
14Do all things without murmurings and reasonings,
15that ye may be harmless and simple, irreproachable children of God in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation; among whom ye appear as lights in [the] world,
16 di jottali kàddug dund gi. Noonu bu bésu Kirist ñëwee, dinaa man a bég, xam ne dawuma lu amul njariñ, te sonnuma cig neen.
16holding forth [the] word of life, so as to be a boast for me in Christ's day, that I have not run in vain nor laboured in vain.
17 Te bu sama deret waree tuuru sax, ngir seen ngëm mat sëkk, ma mel ni naan gu ñu boole ak sarax su jëm ci Yàlla, ba tey bég naa ci, te dinaa ci bégati.
17But if also I am poured out as a libation on the sacrifice and ministration of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice in common with you all.
18 Yéen itam nag bégleen, waaw fekksileen ma ci sama mbég.
18In like manner do *ye* also rejoice, and rejoice with me.
19 Gannaaw loolu, bu soobee Boroom bi Yeesu, yaakaar naa ne, dinaa leen yónnee Timote balaa yàgg, ngir sama xel dal ci xam nan ngeen def.
19But I hope in [the] Lord Jesus to send Timotheus to you shortly, that *I* also may be refreshed, knowing how ye get on.
20 Ndaxte amu fi kenn gannaaw Timote, ku bokk ak man xalaat te fonk leen bu wér.
20For I have no one like-minded who will care with genuine feeling how ye get on.
21For all seek their own things, not the things of Jesus Christ.
22 Waaye xam ngeen takkuteg Timote, ci ni mu ànde ak man ci tas xebaar bu baax bi, ni doom di taxawoo baayam.
22But ye know the proof of him, that, as a child a father, he has served with me in the work of the glad tidings.
23 Moom laa yaakaar a yónni fi yéen nag, waxtu wu ma yégee, nu sama mbir di tëdde.
23Him therefore I hope to send immediately, as soon as I shall see how it goes with me:
24 Waaye wóor na ma ne, Boroom bi dina ma may, man ci sama bopp, ma seetsi leen balaa yàgg.
24but I trust in [the] Lord that I myself also shall soon come;
25 Ci lu jëm ci sama mbokk Epafrodit nag, miy sama nawle ci liggéey bi ak ci xeex bi, te di seen ndaw ci faj samay soxla, jàpp naa ne, war naa leen koo delloo.
25but I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-workman and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and minister to my need,
26since he had a longing desire after you all, and was distressed because ye had heard that he was sick;
27for he was also sick close to death, but God had mercy on him, and not indeed on him alone, but also on me, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.
28 Noonu delloo naa leen ko ci lu gaaw, ngir ñëwam bégal seeni xol, te man itam sama xol féex.
28I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that seeing him ye might again rejoice, and that *I* might be the less sorrowful.
29 Teeruleen ko teeru bu rafet nag ngir Boroom bi, te teral ñi mel ni moom.
29Receive him therefore in [the] Lord with all joy, and hold such in honour;
30because for the sake of the work he drew near even to death, venturing his life that he might fill up what lacked in your ministration toward me.
