Hebrews

3

1 Kon nag yéen bokk yu sell yi, yéen ñi Yàlla woo, ngeen bokk ci nguuram gu kawe ga, seetleen ci Yeesu, moom miy ndawu Yàlla li, di saraxalekat bu mag bi ci yoon wi nu gëm.
1Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;
2 Ku takku la ci liggéey bi ko Yàlla sas, ni ko Musaa nekke woon ci lépp lu jëm ci waa kër Yàlla.
2who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.
3 Waaye Yeesu yelloo na ndam lu sut lu Musaa, ni kiy tabax kër ëppe maana kër ga muy tabax.
3For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 Ndaxte kër gu nekk am na ku ko sos, waaye ki sos lépp mooy Yàlla.
4For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5 Musaa moom ku takku la woon ci lépp lu jëm ci waa kër Yàlla. Waaye jawriñ rekk la woon, ngir seede li Yàlla waroon a yégle.
5Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 Yeesu nag ku takku la it, waaye Doom la, juy yilif kër Baayam. Nun nooy këram googu, bu nu saxee ci sunu kóolute te di bég ci li nuy séentu.
6but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
7 Moo tax Xel mu Sell mi wax lii ci Mbind mi:«Bu ngeen déggee tey jii baatu Yàlla bi,
7Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
8 buleen dëgër bopp,ni seeni maam defoon ca màndiŋ ma,keroog ba ñu dëddoo Yàlla di ko diiŋat.»
8don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9 Yàlla ne:«Foofa seeni maam diiŋat nañu ma fa,di ma fexee fiir,te gis nañu samay jëf
9where your fathers tested me by proving me, and saw my works for forty years.
10 diirub ñeent-fukki at.Looloo tax gennliku naa leen, daldi ne:“Seeni xalaat a leen di réeral saa su nekk, xamuñu yoon yi ma neex.”
10Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways;’
11 Giñ naa kon ci sama mer ne:“Duñu dugg mukk ci sama noflaay.”»
11as I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
12 Bokk yi, wottuleen ba kenn ci yéen bañ a am xol bu bon te gëmadi, bay dëddu Yàlla jiy dund.
12Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13 Waaye bés bu nekk, deeleen soññante ci lu jëm ci Yàlla, fi ak bés boobu ñu wax wéyul, ngir ragal bàkkaar nax kenn, ba xolam tëju.
13but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 Am nanu wàll ci Kirist, su nu wéyee fii ba muj ga ci sunu kóolute, gi nu amoon ca njàlbéen ga.
14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
15 Lii la Mbind mi wax:«Bu ngeen déggee tey jii baatu Yàlla bi,buleen dëgër bopp,ni seeni maam defoon, ba ñu dëddoo Yàlla.»
15while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
16 Ñan ñoo dégg baatu Yàlla bi nag te di ko dëddu? Xanaa ña Musaa génne woon Misra ñépp.
16For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, didn’t all those who came out of Egypt by Moses?
17 Te ñan la Yàlla mere lu mat ñeent-fukki at? Xanaa ñi daan bàkkaar te seeni néew tëdd ca màndiŋ ma.
17With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 Te it bi Yàlla defee ngiñ lii: «Duñu dugg mukk ci sama noflaay,» booba ñan ñoo ko taxoon di wax? Xanaa ña ko déggadil.
18To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 Noonu gis nanu sax ne, jotuñoo dugg ci noflaay boobu ndax seen gëmadi.
19We see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
