1摩西重新接受誡命（出34:1~10）“那時，耶和華對我說：‘你要鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，然後上山到我這裡來；又要做一個木櫃。
1At that time Yahweh said to me, “Cut two tables of stone like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
2我要把你摔碎的先前那兩塊版上的話，寫在這兩塊版上；你要把它們放在櫃中。’
2I will write on the tables the words that were on the first tables which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”
3於是我用皂莢木做了一個櫃，又鑿出了兩塊石版，和先前的一樣；然後我手裡拿著這兩塊石版，上山去了。
3So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two tables of stone like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tables in my hand.
4耶和華把先前所寫的，就是在集會的日子，在山上從火中告訴你們的十誡，都寫在這兩塊版上；耶和華把石版交給了我。
4He wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and Yahweh gave them to me.
5於是我轉身從山上下來，把石版放在我所做的櫃中，照著耶和華吩咐我的，現在石版還放在那裡。
5I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they are as Yahweh commanded me.
6“以色列人從比羅比尼．亞干起程，到了摩西拉。亞倫在那裡死了，也埋葬在那裡；他的兒子以利亞撒接替他供祭司的職分。
6(The children of Israel traveled from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.
7他們從那裡起程，到了谷歌大，又從谷歌大到約巴他，就是多溪水的地。
7From there they traveled to Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.
8那時，耶和華把利未支派分別出來，叫他們抬耶和華的約櫃，侍立在耶和華面前事奉他，並且奉他的名祝福，直到今日。
8At that time Yahweh set apart the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, to stand before Yahweh to minister to him, and to bless in his name, to this day.
9所以利未人在兄弟中無分無業；照著耶和華你的 神應許他的，耶和華自己就是他的產業。
9Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers; Yahweh is his inheritance, according as Yahweh your God spoke to him.)
10“我又像以前那樣，在山上停留了四十晝夜；那一次耶和華也聽了我的呼求，他不願把你毀滅。
10I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights: and Yahweh listened to me that time also; Yahweh would not destroy you.
11耶和華對我說：‘你起來，走在人民的前面，使他們可以進去，得著我向他們列祖起誓賜給他們的那地。’
11Yahweh said to me, “Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers to give to them.”
12勸勉眾民敬畏耶和華“以色列啊，現在耶和華你的 神向你要的是甚麼呢？只要你敬畏耶和華你的 神，行在他的一切道路上，愛他，一心一意事奉耶和華你的 神，
12Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13遵守耶和華的誡命和律例，就是我今日吩咐你的，為要叫你得福。
13to keep the commandments of Yahweh, and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?
14看哪，天和天上的天，地和地上的一切都是屬於耶和華你的 神的。
14Behold, to Yahweh your God belongs heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth, with all that is therein.
15但耶和華只喜悅你的列祖，愛他們；他從萬民中揀選了他們的後裔，就是你們，像今日一樣。
15Only Yahweh had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all peoples, as at this day.
16所以你們要給你們的心行割禮，不可再頑固。
16Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
17因為耶和華你們的 神，他是萬神之神、萬主之主、偉大有力和可畏的 神；他不徇情面，也不受賄賂。
17For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods, and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons, nor takes reward.
18他為孤兒寡婦伸張正義，又把衣食給寄居的人。
18He does execute justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, in giving him food and clothing.
19所以你們要愛寄居的人，因為你們在埃及地也作過寄居的人。
19Therefore love the foreigner; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
20你要敬畏耶和華你的 神，事奉他，依靠他，奉他的名起誓。
20You shall fear Yahweh your God; you shall serve him; and you shall cling to him, and you shall swear by his name.
21他是你當頌讚的；他是你的 神，他為你作了那些大而可畏的事，就是你親眼見過的。
21He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things, which your eyes have seen.
22你的列祖下到埃及的時候，一共不過七十人，現在耶和華你的 神卻使你的人數像天上的星那麼多了。”
22Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy persons; and now Yahweh your God has made you as the stars of the sky for multitude.
