¹埃及的哀歌十二年十二月初一日，耶和華的話臨到我說：

¹It happened in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²“人子啊！你要為埃及王法老作一首哀歌，對他說：‘你像列國中的少壯獅子，又像海中的海怪，你在河中翻騰，用你的爪攪動河水，使江河渾濁。

²Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and tell him, You were likened to a young lion of the nations: yet you are as a monster in the seas; and you broke out with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.

³主耶和華這樣說：我必用多國的群眾，把我的網撒在你身上，他們必用我的網把你拉上來。

³Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will spread out my net on you with a company of many peoples; and they shall bring you up in my net.

⁴我必把你丟棄在地上，拋擲在田野，使空中的飛鳥都住在你身上，使地上所有的野獸都吃你而得飽足。

⁴I will leave you on the land, I will cast you forth on the open field, and will cause all the birds of the sky to settle on you, and I will satisfy the animals of the whole earth with you.

⁵我必把你的肉丟在山上，把你高大的屍體填滿山谷。

⁵I will lay your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.

⁶我必用你流出的血澆灌地面，直到山上，水溝都必充滿你的血。

⁶I will also water with your blood the land in which you swim, even to the mountains; and the watercourses shall be full of you.

⁷我毀滅你的時候，必把天遮蔽，使天上的星昏暗，用密雲遮蓋太陽；月亮也必不發光。

⁷When I shall extinguish you, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light.

⁸我必使天上所有的光體都在你以上變為昏暗；我必使黑暗籠罩你的地；這是主耶和華的宣告。

⁸All the bright lights of the sky will I make dark over you, and set darkness on your land, says the Lord Yahweh.

⁹我使你在列國中滅亡的消息，傳到你所不認識的列邦的時候，我必使萬族的心感到不安。

⁹I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I shall bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

¹⁰我在他們面前向你揮動刀劍的時候，他們必因你驚駭，他們的君王也必因你非常恐慌；在你傾覆的日子，他們各人都必為自己的性命時刻戰兢。

¹⁰Yes, I will make many peoples amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.

¹¹“‘主耶和華這樣說：巴比倫王的刀必臨到你。

¹¹For thus says the Lord Yahweh: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come on you.

¹²我必藉著勇士的刀使你的眾民倒下，這些勇士都是列國中最強橫的人。他們必毀滅埃及所誇耀的；埃及的眾民都必消滅。

¹²By the swords of the mighty will I cause your multitude to fall; the terrible of the nations are they all: and they shall bring to nothing the pride of Egypt, and all its multitude shall be destroyed.

¹³我必從眾水的旁邊，除滅埃及所有的牲畜；人的腳必不再攪濁這些水，牲畜的蹄也不這樣作。

¹³I will destroy also all its animals from beside many waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of animals trouble them.

¹⁴那時，我必使眾水澄清，使江河的水像油一樣緩流；這是主耶和華的宣告。

¹⁴Then will I make their waters clear, and cause their rivers to run like oil, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁵我使埃及地荒涼，使這地失去它所充滿的，又擊殺其中所有的居民。那時，他們就知道我是耶和華。

¹⁵When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate and waste, a land destitute of that of which it was full, when I shall strike all those who dwell therein, then shall they know that I am Yahweh.

¹⁶這就是人為埃及所唱的哀歌，列國的女子必唱這哀歌；她們必為埃及和它的眾民唱這哀歌。這是主耶和華的宣告。’”

¹⁶This is the lamentation with which they shall lament; the daughters of the nations shall lament therewith; over Egypt, and over all her multitude, shall they lament therewith, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁷十二年十二月十五日，耶和華的話臨到我說：

¹⁷It happened also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹⁸“人子啊！你要為埃及的眾民哀號，要把埃及和強國的女子，與下坑的人一同送到地府那裡。

¹⁸Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, to the lower parts of the earth, with those who go down into the pit.

¹⁹你要對埃及說：‘你比誰更優越呢？你下去與那些沒有受割禮的人一起長眠吧！’

¹⁹Whom do you pass in beauty? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.

²⁰他們必倒在那些被刀所殺的人中間；刀既拔出，埃及和它的眾民都要被拉下去。

²⁰They shall fall in the midst of those who are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword; draw her away and all her multitudes.

²¹勇士中最強的必在陰間論到埃及和幫助埃及的說：‘他們已經下來了，他們與沒有受割禮的，就是被刀所殺的人，一起長眠。’

²¹The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. with those who help him: they are gone down, they lie still, even the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.

²²亞述遭報“亞述和它的軍隊都在那裡；他們的墳墓在它周圍；他們都是被殺死的，是倒在刀下的。

²²Asshur is there and all her company; her graves are all around her; all of them slain, fallen by the sword;

²³他們的墳墓是放在坑中極深之處，亞述的眾軍都在它墳墓的周圍，全是被殺死的，是倒在刀下的；他們曾使驚恐散布在活人之地。

²³whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the pit, and her company is around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living.

²⁴以攔遭報“以攔也在那裡，它的眾民都在它墳墓的周圍，全是被殺死的，是倒在刀下的；他們沒有受割禮而下到地府去；他們曾使驚恐散布在活人之地，現在他們與下坑的人一同擔當自己的羞辱。

²⁴There is Elam and all her multitude around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the lower parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living, and have borne their shame with those who go down to the pit.

²⁵在被殺的人中，有床為它和它的眾民安設；他們的墳墓都在它周圍；他們都是沒有受割禮的，是被刀所殺的；他們曾使驚恐散布在活人之地。現在他們與下坑的人一同擔當自己的羞辱；以攔被安置在被殺的人中間。

²⁵They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude; her graves are around her; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for their terror was caused in the land of the living, and they have borne their shame with those who go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of those who are slain.

²⁶米設和土巴遭報“米設、土巴和它們所有的人民都在那裡；他們的墳墓都在米設和土巴的周圍；他們都是沒有受割禮的，是被刀所殺的；他們曾使驚恐散布在活人之地。

²⁶There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude; their graves are around them; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for they caused their terror in the land of the living.

²⁷他們不都是與那些沒有受割禮而倒斃的勇士一起長眠嗎？這些勇士都帶著兵器下到陰間，刀劍都放在自己的頭下。他們的罪孽是在自己的骨頭上。他們曾使驚恐散布在活人之地。

²⁷They shall not lie with the mighty who are fallen of the uncircumcised, who are gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, and have laid their swords under their heads, and their iniquities are on their bones; for they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

²⁸法老啊！至於你，你必在沒有受割禮的人中被毀滅，與那些被刀所殺的人一起長眠。

²⁸But you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shall lie with those who are slain by the sword.

²⁹以東遭報“以東也在那裡，以東的眾王和所有首領雖然英勇，還是與被刀所殺的人列在一起。他們必與沒有受割禮而下坑的人一起長眠。

²⁹There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who in their might are laid with those who are slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with those who go down to the pit.

³⁰北方各族與西頓遭報“在那裡有北方的眾首領和所有西頓人；他們都與被殺死的人一同下去，他們雖然英勇，使人驚恐，還是蒙受了羞辱；他們沒有受割禮而與那些被刀所殺的人一起長眠，與那些下坑的人一同擔當羞辱。

³⁰There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who are gone down with the slain; in the terror which they caused by their might they are put to shame; and they lie uncircumcised with those who are slain by the sword, and bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

³¹“法老看見他們，就必為被刀所殺的眾民，就是法老自己和他的全軍，得了安慰。這是主耶和華的宣告。

³¹Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, says the Lord Yahweh.

³²雖然我任憑法老使驚恐散布在活人之地，他和他的眾民必在沒有受割禮的人中，與被刀所殺的人一起長眠。這是主耶和華的宣告。”

³²For I have put his terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord Yahweh.
