1以色列必回歸與復興“到那時，我必作以色列各家族的 神，他們要作我的子民。”這是耶和華的宣告。
1At that time, says Yahweh, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
2耶和華這樣說：“在刀劍下倖存的人民，在曠野蒙受了恩寵；以色列來到她安息之處。”
2Thus says Yahweh, The people who were left of the sword found favor in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
3耶和華在古時（“在古時”或譯：“從遠處”）曾向以色列（“以色列”按照《馬索拉抄本》應作“我”，現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯）顯現，說：“我以永遠的愛愛你，因此，我對你的慈愛延續不息（“我對你的慈愛延續不息”或譯：“我要以慈愛吸引你”）。
3Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.
4童女以色列啊！我要再次建立你，你就必被建立。你要再次拿起鈴鼓，出去和那些歡樂的人一同跳舞。
4Again will I build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: again you shall be adorned with your tambourines, and shall go forth in the dances of those who make merry.
5你要再次在撒瑪利亞的眾山上栽種葡萄園，栽種的人栽種了，必可享用所結的果子。
5Again you shall plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant, and shall enjoy its fruit.
6因為有一天，守望的人要在以法蓮山上呼叫，說：‘起來吧！我們上錫安去朝見耶和華我們的 神。’”
6For there shall be a day, that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim shall cry, Arise, and let us go up to Zion to Yahweh our God.
7耶和華這樣說：“你們要為雅各喜樂歡呼，要為那在列國為首的呼喊。你們要宣告，要頌讚，說：‘耶和華啊！求你拯救你的子民，就是以色列的餘民。’
7For thus says Yahweh, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations: publish, praise, and say, Yahweh, save your people, the remnant of Israel.
8看哪！我必把他們從北方之地領回來，把他們從地極招集起來；在他們中間有瞎眼的、瘸腿的、孕婦、產婦，都在一起；他們成群結隊返回這裡。
8Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, along with the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her who travails with child together: a great company shall they return here.
9我引導他們的時候，他們必哭著而來，並且向我乞恩懇求。我要使他們走在溪水旁，行在平直的路上，他們必不會絆跌；因為我是以色列的父親，以法蓮是我的長子。
9They shall come with weeping; and with petitions will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they shall not stumble; for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
10雅各得蒙救贖“列國啊！你們要聽耶和華的話，要在遠方的海島傳揚，說：‘那趕散以色列的 神，必再招集他們；必看守他們，像牧人看守自己的羊群一樣。’
10Hear the word of Yahweh, you nations, and declare it in the islands afar off; and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as shepherd does his flock.
11因為耶和華買贖了雅各，從比他更強的人手中把他救贖了出來。
11For Yahweh has ransomed Jacob, and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.
12他們必來到錫安的高處歡呼；他們必容光煥發，因為耶和華賜他們各樣的美物，就是五穀、新酒和油，還有羊羔和牛犢。他們必像有水灌溉的園子，永不再枯乾。
12They shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow to the goodness of Yahweh, to the grain, and to the new wine, and to the oil, and to the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
13那時，童女必歡樂跳舞，年輕的和年老的一起歡樂。我必使他們的悲哀變為喜樂，我必安慰他們，使他們從憂愁中得著歡樂。
13Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14我必用肥脂使祭司的心滿足；我的子民必因我的美物飽足。”這是耶和華的宣告。
14I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says Yahweh.
15耶和華這樣說：“在拉瑪聽見有聲音，是痛哭哀號的聲音；拉結為她的兒女哀哭，不肯受安慰，因為他們都不在了。”
15Thus says Yahweh: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children; she refuses to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.
16耶和華這樣說：“止住你的聲音，不要哭泣，抑制你的眼睛不要再流淚，因為你所作的必有果效；他們必從仇敵之地回來。”這是耶和華的宣告。
16Thus says Yahweh: Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says Yahweh; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17“你的前途必有希望；你的兒女必返回自己的地方。”這是耶和華的宣告。
17There is hope for your latter end, says Yahweh; and your children shall come again to their own border.
18“我清楚聽見以法蓮為自己哀歎，說：‘你管教了我，我像一頭不馴服的牛犢受管教；求你使我回轉，我就得以回轉，因為你是耶和華我的 神。
18I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus, You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as an untrained calf: turn me, and I shall be turned; for you are Yahweh my God.
19我回轉以後，就深深悔悟；我醒覺以後，就拍腿悔恨。因為我承受年幼時的恥辱，我感到羞恥和慚愧。’
19Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I struck on my thigh: I was ashamed, yes, even confounded, because I bore the reproach of my youth.
20以法蓮是我親愛的兒子嗎？是我喜悅的孩子嗎？每逢我說話攻擊他，我必再次記念他。因此，我的心戀慕他；我必定憐憫他。”這是耶和華的宣告。
20Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says Yahweh.
21你要為自己設立路標，豎立路牌；你要留心大路，就是你走過的路。童女以色列啊，回轉吧！回到你這些城市那裡。
21Set up road signs, make guideposts; set your heart toward the highway, even the way by which you went: turn again, virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities.
22轉離正道的女兒哪，你轉來轉去要到幾時呢？因為耶和華在地上創造了一件新事，就是女的要環繞男的。
22How long will you go here and there, you backsliding daughter? for Yahweh has created a new thing in the earth: a woman shall encompass a man.
23耶和華眷愛自己的子民萬軍之耶和華以色列的 神這樣說：“我使被擄的人歸回的時候，他們在猶大地，在猶大的城鎮裡，必再說這樣的話：‘公義的居所啊，聖山哪，願耶和華賜福給你！’
23Thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, Yet again shall they use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I shall bring again their captivity: Yahweh bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.
24猶大各城的人、耕地的和領著群畜遊牧的，都要一起住在猶大。
24Judah and all its cities shall dwell therein together, the farmers, and those who go about with flocks.
25疲倦的人，我必使他振作；愁苦的人，我必使他滿足。”
25For I have satiated the weary soul, and every sorrowful soul have I replenished.
26這時，我醒過來，四周觀看；我睡得很香甜。
26On this I awakened, and saw; and my sleep was sweet to me.
27“看哪！日子快到（這是耶和華的宣告），我必使以色列家和猶大家人口和牲畜繁殖。
27Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of animal.
28我先前怎樣留意把他們拔出、拆毀、傾覆、毀滅和降災；將來我也必照樣留意把他們建立和栽種起來。”這是耶和華的宣告。
28It shall happen that, like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down and to overthrow and to destroy and to afflict, so will I watch over them to build and to plant, says Yahweh.
29“在那些日子，人必不再說：‘父親吃了酸葡萄，兒子的牙齒酸倒了。’
29In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
30因為各人必因自己的罪孽死亡；吃酸葡萄的，那人的牙齒必酸倒。
30But everyone shall die for his own iniquity: every man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31訂立新約“看哪！日子快到（這是耶和華的宣告），我要與以色列家和猶大家訂立新的約。
31Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32這新約不像從前我拉他們祖先的手，領他們出埃及地的日子，與他們所立的約；我雖然是他們的丈夫，他們卻違背了我的約。”這是耶和華的宣告。
32not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them, says Yahweh.
33“但那些日子以後，我要與以色列家所立的約是這樣（這是耶和華的宣告）：我要把我的律法放在他們裡面，寫在他們的心裡。我要作他們的 神，他們要作我的子民。
33But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahweh: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:
34他們各人必不再教導自己的鄰舍和自己的同胞，說：‘你們要認識耶和華。’因為所有的人，從最小到最大的都必認識我。我也要赦免他們的罪孽，不再記著他們的罪惡。”這是耶和華的宣告。
34and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh; for they shall all know me, from their least to their greatest, says Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.
35那使太陽白晝發光，派定月亮和星辰照耀黑夜，又攪動海洋，使海浪澎湃的，萬軍之耶和華是他的名，他這樣說：
35Thus says Yahweh, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar; Yahweh of Armies is his name:
36“這些定律若能從我面前廢掉，以色列的後裔也就會在我面前斷絕，永遠不再成為一個國家。”這是耶和華的宣告。
36If these ordinances depart from before me, says Yahweh, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.
37耶和華這樣說：“人若能量度在上的諸天，測透地下面的根基，我也就會因以色列後裔所作的一切，棄絕他們眾人。”這是耶和華的宣告。
37Thus says Yahweh: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says Yahweh.
38“看哪！日子快到（這是耶和華的宣告），這城從哈楠業城樓直到角門，必為耶和華重建起來。
38Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that the city shall be built to Yahweh from the tower of Hananel to the gate of the corner.
39量度的準繩還要往外量，直到迦立山，繞到歌亞。
39The measuring line shall go out further straight onward to the hill Gareb, and shall turn about to Goah.
40拋屍和倒灰的整個山谷，以及從汲淪溪直到東邊馬門拐角一帶所有的墓地，都必歸耶和華為聖，永遠不再拔出，不再傾覆。”
40The whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields to the brook Kidron, to the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy to Yahweh; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more forever.
