¹屠殺祭牲的條例耶和華對摩西說：

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²“你要告訴亞倫和他的兒子，以及以色列人，對他們說：這是耶和華的吩咐：

²“Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded,

³以色列家的任何人，不論在營內，或在營外，宰殺公牛、綿羊或山羊，

³Whatever man there is of the house of Israel, who kills a bull, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp,

⁴而不牽到會幕門口，耶和華的帳幕面前，獻給耶和華作供物，流血的罪就要歸到那人身上；他既然流了牲畜的血，就必從自己的族人中被剪除。

⁴and hasn’t brought it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to offer it as an offering to Yahweh before the tabernacle of Yahweh: blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people.

⁵這條例的目的是要以色列人把他們慣常在田野裡宰殺的祭牲，帶去給耶和華，到會幕門口交給祭司，好像獻給耶和華作平安祭那樣宰殺牲畜。

⁵This is to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, that they may bring them to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them for sacrifices of peace offerings to Yahweh.

⁶祭司要把血潑在會幕門口耶和華的祭壇上，把脂肪焚燒，獻給耶和華作馨香的祭。

⁶The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

⁷他們不可再殺祭牲，獻給那些山羊，就是他們所隨從行邪淫的鬼神。這要作他們世世代代永遠的律例。

⁷They shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat idols, after which they play the prostitute. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.’

⁸“你要對他們說：以色列家的任何人，或是在你們中間寄居的外人，獻燔祭或是平安祭的時候，

⁸“You shall say to them, ‘Any man there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,

⁹如果不牽到會幕門口，把牠獻給耶和華，那人就必從自己的族人中被剪除。

⁹and doesn’t bring it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to sacrifice it to Yahweh; that man shall be cut off from his people.

¹⁰嚴禁吃血“以色列家的任何人，或是在你們中間寄居的外人，如果吃了任何血，我必向那吃血的人變臉，把他從自己的族人中剪除。

¹⁰“‘Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

¹¹因為動物的生命是在血裡，我指定這祭壇上的血代替你們的生命，因為血裡有生命，所以能代贖生命。

¹¹For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.

¹²所以我對以色列人說：你們中間任何人都不可吃血，在你們中間寄居的外人也不可吃血。

¹²Therefore I have said to the children of Israel, “No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood.”

¹³任何以色列人，或是在你們中間寄居的外人中，有人打獵得了可以吃的禽獸，總要放盡牠的血，用泥土掩蓋。

¹³“‘Whatever man there is of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who takes in hunting any animal or bird that may be eaten; he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.

¹⁴“因為所有動物的生命就在牠們的血中，所以我對以色列人說：任何動物的血，你們都不可吃；因為所有動物的血，就是牠的生命；吃血的，必被剪除。

¹⁴For as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life: therefore I said to the children of Israel, “You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”

¹⁵吃了自死的，或是被野獸撕裂的動物，無論是本地人或是寄居的，都要洗淨自己的衣服，用水洗澡，並且不潔淨到晚上，以後他才算潔淨。

¹⁵“‘Every person that eats what dies of itself, or that which is torn by animals, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening: then he shall be clean.

¹⁶但是，如果他不洗淨衣服，也不洗身，他就要擔當自己的罪責。”

¹⁶But if he doesn’t wash them, or bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.’”
