1金燈臺耶和華對摩西說：
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2“你要告訴亞倫：‘你點燈的時候，七盞燈都要照向燈臺的前面。’”
2“Speak to Aaron, and tell him, ‘When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.’”
3亞倫就這樣行了；他把燈臺上的燈都點著了，使光照向燈臺的前面，正如耶和華吩咐摩西的。
3Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lampstand, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
4這燈臺的做法是這樣：是用金子錘出來的，從座到花都是錘出來的。摩西製造燈臺，是照著耶和華指示的樣式做的。
4This was the workmanship of the lampstand, beaten work of gold. From its base to its flowers, it was beaten work: according to the pattern which Yahweh had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand.
5利未人的潔淨與奉獻耶和華對摩西說：
5Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
6“你要從以色列人中間選出利未人，潔淨他們。
6“Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
7你潔淨他們當這樣行：要把除罪水灑在他們身上，又叫他們用剃刀剃全身；把衣服洗淨，潔淨自己。
7You shall do this to them, to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of cleansing on them, let them shave their whole bodies with a razor, and let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves.
8然後，叫他們取一頭公牛犢和同獻的素祭，就是用油調和的細麵；你要另取一頭公牛犢，作贖罪祭。
8Then let them take a young bull, and its meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil; and another young bull you shall take for a sin offering.
9你要把利未人帶到會幕前面，又要召集以色列的全體會眾；
9You shall present the Levites before the Tent of Meeting. You shall assemble the whole congregation of the children of Israel.
10你要把利未人帶到耶和華面前，以色列人要按手在他們身上。
10You shall present the Levites before Yahweh. The children of Israel shall lay their hands on the Levites,
11亞倫要把利未人獻在耶和華面前，作以色列人中的搖祭，使他們辦理耶和華的事務。
11and Aaron shall offer the Levites before Yahweh for a wave offering, on the behalf of the children of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Yahweh.
12利未人要按手在那兩頭牛的頭上；你要把一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭，獻給耶和華，為利未人贖罪。
12“The Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering to Yahweh, to make atonement for the Levites.
13你又要叫利未人站在亞倫和他的兒子們面前，把他們作搖祭獻給耶和華。
13You shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to Yahweh.
14“這樣，你要把利未人從以色列人中分別出來，利未人就要歸我。
14Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine.
15以後，利未人可以進去辦理會幕的事；你要潔淨他們，把他們作搖祭獻上。
15“After that, the Levites shall go in to do the service of the Tent of Meeting: and you shall cleanse them, and offer them as a wave offering.
16因為他們是以色列人中完全獻給我的；我選出了他們歸我，是代替以色列人中所有頭生的。
16For they are wholly given to me from among the children of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the children of Israel, I have taken them to me.
17因為以色列人中所有頭生的，連人帶畜都是我的；我在埃及地擊殺所有頭生的那一天，就把他們分別為聖歸我了。
17For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both man and animal. On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified them for myself.
18我選出了利未人，代替以色列人中所有頭生的。
18I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
19我從以色列人中，把利未人賜給亞倫和他的眾子，在會幕裡辦理以色列人的事務，又為以色列人贖罪，免得他們走近聖所的時候，就有災禍臨到他們。”
19I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel; that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come near to the sanctuary.”
20摩西、亞倫和以色列的全體會眾，就向利未人這樣行了；耶和華指著利未人吩咐摩西的，以色列人都照樣向他們行了。
20Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.
21於是利未人潔淨了自己，把衣服洗淨；亞倫把他們作搖祭獻在耶和華面前；亞倫又為他們贖罪，潔淨他們。
21The Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them for a wave offering before Yahweh; and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.
22然後，利未人才進去，在亞倫和他的眾子面前，在會幕裡辦理他們的事務；耶和華指著利未人怎樣吩咐摩西，以色列人就怎樣向他們行了。
22After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron, and before his sons: as Yahweh had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
23耶和華對摩西說：
23Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
24“關於利未人的職責是這樣：從二十五歲以上的，要進來辦理會幕裡的事務；
24“This is that which belongs to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting;
25到了五十歲，就要停止辦理事務，不再辦事；
25and from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting on the work, and shall serve no more,
26只要在會幕裡幫助自己的兄弟，盡忠職守，事務卻不必辦理了。關於利未人的職守，你要這樣向他們行。”
26but shall minister with their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to perform the duty, and shall do no service. You shall do thus to the Levites concerning their duties.”
