1準繩的異象我又舉目觀看，看見一人手裡拿著量度用的繩子。（本節在《馬索拉抄本》為2:5）
1I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2我問他：“你到哪裡去？”他對我說：“我要去量度耶路撒冷，看看有多寬，有多長。”
2Then I asked, “Where are you going?” He said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its breadth and what is its length.”
3那與我說話的天使離去的時候，另有一位天使迎著他來，
3Behold, the angel who talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
4對他說：“你快跑去告訴那年輕人：‘耶路撒冷必有人居住，像沒有城牆規限的田野，因為城中的人和牲畜很多。
4and said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.
5耶和華說：我要作耶路撒冷四圍的火牆和城中的榮耀。’”
5For I,’ says Yahweh, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.
6呼召人民回歸故土“嗨！嗨！你們要從北方之地逃走（這是耶和華的宣告），因為我過去曾把你們分散在天的四方。”這是耶和華的宣告。
6Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,’ says Yahweh; ‘for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the sky,’ says Yahweh.
7耶和華說：“嗨！與巴比倫的居民同住的錫安的人民哪！逃跑吧！”
7‘Come, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.’
8萬軍之耶和華這樣說，得了榮耀之後，他差遣我去攻擊那些劫掠你們的列國，因為凡觸摸你們的，就是觸摸他眼中的瞳人。
8For thus says Yahweh of Armies: ‘For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.
9看哪！我要向他們揮動我的手，他們就必成了自己奴僕的掠物。這樣，你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我。
9For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they will be a spoil to those who served them; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me.
10“錫安的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）哪！你們要歡呼快樂，因為我要來住在你們中間。”這是耶和華的宣告。
10Sing and rejoice, daughter of Zion; for, behold, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of you,’ says Yahweh.
11到那日，許多國家要歸附耶和華，作他的（“他的”原文作“我的”）子民，他要（“他要”原文作“我要”）住在你們中間。你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我到你們那裡去。
11Many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.
12耶和華必再得著猶大作他在聖地的業分，他必再揀選耶路撒冷。
12Yahweh will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
13全人類都當在耶和華面前肅靜，因為他從自己聖潔的居所被激動起來了。
13Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for he has roused himself from his holy habitation!”
