1耶稣为门徒洗脚
1And before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing that his hour hath come, that he may remove out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own who [are] in the world — to the end he loved them.
2吃晚饭的时候（魔鬼已经把出卖耶稣的意念放在西门的儿子加略人犹大的心里），
2And supper being come, the devil already having put [it] into the heart of Judas of Simon, Iscariot, that he may deliver him up,
3耶稣知道父已经把万有交在他手中，并且知道自己从 神而来，又要回到 神那里去，
3Jesus knowing that all things the Father hath given to him — into [his] hands, and that from God he came forth, and unto God he goeth,
4就起身离席，脱去外衣，拿一条手巾束腰。
4doth rise from the supper, and doth lay down his garments, and having taken a towel, he girded himself;
5然后他倒了一盆水，洗门徒的脚，并且用束腰的手巾擦干。
5afterward he putteth water into the basin, and began to wash the feet of his disciples, and to wipe with the towel with which he was being girded.
6轮到西门．彼得，彼得就说：“主啊，你要洗我的脚吗？”
6He cometh, therefore, unto Simon Peter, and that one saith to him, `Sir, thou — dost thou wash my feet?`
7耶稣回答：“我所作的，你现在不知道，以后就会明白。”
7Jesus answered and said to him, `That which I do thou hast not known now, but thou shalt know after these things;`
8彼得说：“不行，你千万不可洗我的脚！”耶稣说：“如果我不洗你的脚，你就与我没有关系了。”
8Peter saith to him, `Thou mayest not wash my feet — to the age.` Jesus answered him, `If I may not wash thee, thou hast no part with me;`
9西门．彼得说：“主啊，那就不单洗我的脚，连我的手和头都洗吧！”
9Simon Peter saith to him, `Sir, not my feet only, but also the hands and the head.`
10耶稣说：“洗过澡的人，全身都洁净，只需要洗脚就可以了。你们是洁净的，但不是人人都是这样。”
10Jesus saith to him, `He who hath been bathed hath no need save to wash his feet, but he is clean altogether; and ye are clean, but not all;`
11原来耶稣知道谁要出卖他，所以他说“你们不是人人都是洁净的”。
11for he knew him who is delivering him up; because of this he said, `Ye are not all clean.`
12耶稣洗完了门徒的脚，就穿上外衣，再坐下来，对他们说：“我给你们作的，你们明白吗？
12When, therefore, he washed their feet, and took his garments, having reclined (at meat) again, he said to them, `Do ye know what I have done to you?
13你们称呼我‘老师，主’，你们说得对，我本来就是。
13ye call me, The Teacher and The Lord, and ye say well, for I am;
14我是主，是老师，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也应当彼此洗脚。
14if then I did wash your feet — the Lord and the Teacher — ye also ought to wash one another`s feet.
15我作了你们的榜样，是要你们也照着我所作的去行。
15`For an example I gave to you, that, according as I did to you, ye also may do;
16我实实在在告诉你们，仆人不能大过主人，奉差遣的也不能大过差他的人。
16verily, verily, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his lord, nor an apostle greater than he who sent him;
17你们既然知道这些事，如果去实行，就有福了。
17if these things ye have known, happy are ye, if ye may do them;
18我这话不是指着你们全体说的；我认识我所拣选的人，但是经上的话：‘那吃我饭的，用他的脚踢我’，必须应验。
18not concerning you all do I speak; I have known whom I chose for myself; but that the Writing may be fulfilled: He who is eating the bread with me, did lift up against me his heel.
19现在，事情还没有发生，我就告诉你们，使你们到时可以信我就是‘那一位’。
19`From this time I tell you, before its coming to pass, that, when it may come to pass, ye may believe that I am [he];
20我实实在在告诉你们，那接待我所差遣的，就是接待我；接待我的，就是接待那差我来的。”
20verily, verily, I say to you, he who is receiving whomsoever I may send, doth receive me; and he who is receiving me, doth receive Him who sent me.`
21耶稣预言要被人出卖（太26:20-25；可14:17-21；路22:21-23）耶稣说了这话，心里很难过，就明明地说：“我实实在在告诉你们，你们中间有一个人要出卖我。”
21These things having said, Jesus was troubled in the spirit, and did testify, and said, `Verily, verily, I say to you, that one of you will deliver me up;`
22门徒面面相觑，不知道他是指着谁说的。
22the disciples were looking, therefore, one at another, doubting concerning whom he speaketh.
23门徒中有一个人，是耶稣所爱的，他坐在耶稣旁边。
23And there was one of his disciples reclining (at meat) in the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus was loving;
24西门．彼得向他示意，叫他问耶稣是指着谁说的。
24Simon Peter, then, doth beckon to this one, to inquire who he may be concerning whom he speaketh,
25于是那个门徒贴近耶稣的胸怀，问他：“主啊，是谁呢？”
25and that one having leant back on the breast of Jesus, respondeth to him, `Sir, who is it?`
26耶稣回答：“我蘸一小块饼给谁，谁就是了。”于是他蘸了一小块饼，递给加略人西门的儿子犹大。
26Jesus answereth, `That one it is to whom I, having dipped the morsel, shall give it;` and having dipped the morsel, he giveth [it] to Judas of Simon, Iscariot.
27犹大接过饼以后，撒但就进入他的心。耶稣对他说：“你要作的，快去作吧。”
27And after the morsel, then the Adversary entered into that one, Jesus, therefore, saith to him, `What thou dost — do quickly;`
28在座的人，没有一个知道耶稣为什么对犹大说这话。
28and none of those reclining at meat knew for what intent he said this to him,
29犹大是管钱的，所以有人以为耶稣叫他去买过节用的东西，或是吩咐他拿点东西去赒济穷人。
29for certain were thinking, since Judas had the bag, that Jesus saith to him, `Buy what we have need of for the feast;` or that he may give something to the poor;
30犹大吃了饼，立刻就出去；那时是黑夜了。
30having received, therefore, the morsel, that one immediately went forth, and it was night.
31吩咐门徒要彼此相爱他出去以后，耶稣就说：“现在人子得了荣耀， 神也在人子身上得了荣耀，
31When, therefore, he went forth, Jesus saith, `Now was the Son of Man glorified, and God was glorified in him;
32（ 神既然在人子身上得了荣耀，）（有些抄本无此句）也要在自己身上荣耀人子，并且要立刻荣耀他。
32if God was glorified in him, God also will glorify him in Himself; yea, immediately He will glorify him.
33孩子们啊，我跟你们在一起的时候不多了。你们要寻找我，但是我对犹太人说过，现在也照样对你们说：‘我去的地方，是你们不能去的。’
33`Little children, yet a little am I with you; ye will seek me, and, according as I said to the Jews — Whither I go away, ye are not able to come, to you also I do say [it] now.
34我给你们一条新命令，就是要你们彼此相爱；我怎样爱你们，你们也要怎样彼此相爱。
34`A new commandment I give to you, that ye love one another; according as I did love you, that ye also love one another;
35如果你们彼此相爱，众人就会认出你们是我的门徒了。”
35in this shall all know that ye are my disciples, if ye may have love one to another.`
36预言彼得不认主（太26:33-35；可14:29-31；路22:33-34）西门．彼得对耶稣说：“主啊，你往哪里去？”耶稣回答：“我去的地方，你现在不能跟着我去，但后来却要跟着我去。”
36Simon Peter saith to him, `Sir, whither dost thou go away?` Jesus answered him, `Whither I go away, thou art not able now to follow me, but afterward thou shalt follow me.`
37彼得说：“主啊，为什么我现在不能跟着你去？为了你，我舍命也愿意！”
37Peter saith to him, `Sir, wherefore am I not able to follow thee now? my life for thee I will lay down;`
38耶稣说：“你愿意为我舍命吗？我实实在在告诉你，鸡叫之前，你必定三次不认我。”
38Jesus answered him, `Thy life for me thou wilt lay down! verily, verily, I say to thee, a cock will not crow till thou mayest deny me thrice.`
